With a relaxing atmosphere, the hotel offers a comfortable open space for two, four, six and eight people, and a variety of room types with a cheerful atmosphere everywhere. It is suitable for backpackers who love freedom or three or five friends to travel, spend time in worthy places and enjoy a free and playful life.
"Great experiance at The moment by lakeshore! The kids were thrilled by the bunk beds with curtains and privet hangers and lights 😅
It's a complex of buildings by lakeshore, we had a room with amazing mountains and gardens view.
The auto check in station was simple to understand and operate, and suitable for us, since we arrived quite late.
The room design is very cool, everything worked, good water pressure. The shower is separated from the toilet, so it's comfy for friends staying together. For us as a family it didn't matter.
Everything in the minibar was included in the room price, and I tried the cold brew teas, they were excellent!
The breakfast was served in the hotel building next to our hotel, from the same owner. Great buffet, large variety and even marked for allergies!
The hotel has a parking area close by, and it's about 10 minutes drive to Taroko visitors center.
All in all, I recommend this hotel for short stays, if you are with 3 or 4 kids take the bunk beds room for 6, we really enjoyed it."

"What makes this place nice is its owners who helped with a good tour and always asked me if I needed anything. As for the place itself, its location is really central and the room in my case was very clean. As a perk, you have a plentiful water supply.
If you are not a sound sleeper, then you have to take your precautions as the rooms seem not to be soundproof. Also, if you need natural lighting, you better choose a room that has natural sources of light. Trip.com says standard rooms have windows when in reality they don't.
All in all, my experience was quite positive and I slept well after exploring this beautiful town."

"Absolutely love this place - great location, super clean, fresh & modern rooms. Host was lovely and helped to book taxi, hotel has laundry services including dryer and free coffee & snacks 24/7. Breakfast was a delight, stayed 2 nights and had different food options each day. Really can't ask for much more, highly recommend!"

Excelente
GGuest UserAbundant breakfast, unlimited supply of drinks and bottled water, and you can see the beautiful sea view from the main road. The guesthouse is very close to Ocean Park only 2 minutes by car. The young boss has good service, and is handsome and hassle Talent, currently single parents are helping their son to recruit a girlfriend. The room equipment and the air-conditioning machine are operating too loudly, and they can’t sleep well. I hope it can be improved.

GGL64Hotel provides free afternoon tea and snacks for guests, as well as supper. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good, within walking distance to the night market. The hotel emailed us as we had left some items in our rooms while hurriedly packing our bags. My sister and I were caught in the earthquake on 0403. Thanks to the professional front desk agents, we were able to get to the train station in hope of catching an afternoon train back to Taipei. Unfortunately, after waiting for about 3 hours, we were informed that all trains were cancelled. Our guide, Mason, who took us on the Taroko gorge tour the day before, was super super kind and helpful who went out of his way to rent a car and drove all 7 of us from the tour group to Kaohshiung. We spent the night there before taking the hsr to Taipei. Mason is truly exceptional, authentic and passionate. We are really grateful to Mason. Indeed, we are blessed to have met kind hearted souls in Hualien. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Hualien, Taiwan.

UUsuário convidadoYou can walk to the hotel from Xincheng station in about 20 minutes. There is a shuttle that takes you from the hotel to either Xincheng or Hualien station for free, which I appreciate. The immediate area around the hotel and from Xincheng station is quite remote and there are basically no stores or restaurants open. Thus you will probably have to eat all meals at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant itself is pretty good though and the pricing is reasonable, all things considered. The main benefit of the hotel is the hotel pool. Personally i have a bit of mixed feelings about the pool because the view of the ocean and the beach is partially blocked by some trees, however, overall it is indeed a nice view especially of the mountains in the back. You can also walk to the beach in a few minutes, which is convenient. Service is good. Overall if you are planning to check out Hualien but don't plan to go to Taroko gorge, I think this is a decent option.

But the architecture of this hostel is also pretty neat! The rooms are rather beautiful imo and I was surprised to see the bathroom in the room, it made me happy (compared to public one in some other places, I prefer to have the bathroom in the room, only shared with the girls). I liked that. The sink out of the bathroom but still in the room is also very well placed so you can wash your face or hands even if someone is in the bathroom. Breakfast is rather simple but enough to start the day. Highly recommended ! 😊

這是第三次住。
房間相當乾淨，櫃檯人員也很親切，沒有車位的話，櫃檯人員還會幫忙移他們公司車走，讓你停車。
對面就是小七，附近還有全聯，中美街上很多好吃的，也算是方便了。
硬要挑不足的地方就是
頂樓的戲水池相當小，最大四個人下去大概就全滿，白天太熱晚上也只開到九點多。
一樓的早餐有特別的餐點是不錯的，但是不知道為什麼一樓冷氣不夠涼，吃的有點熱。
整理來說是很不錯的。

MMichael H..Very positive experience. Place is quite nice if you look for a decent Hostel in Hualien (even though it might look a little bit run down from the outside).
Nice roof top terrace for a night cup and 24h free flow coffee/tea is a plus.
Communication with the front desk staff varies a lot, depending on the individual English language skills of the staff on duty, but has never been a real issue.
Moreover, we‘ve been quite surprised having a German speaking guy there the day we‘ve checked in.

SSam Wei 10Good service and nice room overall. Good Chinese style breakfast. Check in kiosk is used, which is interesting, however still need to go to reception for the breakfast voucher. Location is not the best, 15 minutes walking from Jian train station and pretty much no other public transport nearby. I ordered a taxi from the reception.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
