Convenient and comfortable — perfect for transit in Guangzhou! I recently stayed at the JI Hotel near Guangzhou South Railway Station, and I’m very pleased with my choice. The hotel is ideally located for travellers arriving by high‑speed rail — it’s just a short walk from the station’s East Square, which made my arrival and departure incredibly easy. Location: 9/10. The proximity to Guangzhou South Railway Station is the hotel’s biggest advantage. I reached the hotel in under 5 minutes on foot from the station exit. This is a real lifesaver if you have an early train or a late arrival. The area is safe and well‑lit at night. While it’s not in the city centre, the metro (Shibi Station) is accessible, allowing you to reach downtown Guangzhou quickly. The room was compact but very well designed. It felt modern and clean. Everything was in good condition, and the room was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Staff were polite and efficient. Check‑in was quick, and the front desk staff spoke enough English to help me with basic questions. Value for money: 10/10. For the price I paid, the quality of the accommodation and the convenience of the location were excellent. This hotel is clearly designed for practicality — it’s not a luxury resort, but it delivers everything a transit or business traveller needs. I would highly recommend the JI Hotel to anyone using Guangzhou South Railway Station. It’s clean, convenient, and offers great value. It made my trip stress‑free, and I would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient hotel, especially if you have an early flight! It’s super close to the airport, and while they do provide a free shuttle service, we chose to use Didi since it was quicker and more flexible. The rooms are clean, neat, and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is also a nice bonus with a wide variety of options. I’ve stayed here before when catching a flight and will definitely stay again, perfect for airport travel.

Os quartos estavam limpos e arrumados, a roupa de cama era macia e sem odores, e o banheiro tinha excelente pressão de água, sem água parada ou manchas. Os funcionários da recepção foram simpáticos e eficientes, chegando a recomendar proativamente lugares interessantes para tirar fotos. O café da manhã era variado e também havia opções de chá da tarde e lanches noturnos – um ótimo atendimento!

Desde a conclusão da reserva, o hotel entrou proativamente em contacto comigo para verificar cuidadosamente as informações de identidade do meu filho, o itinerário de viagem e os contactos de emergência. Durante o check-in, foram ainda mais rigorosos e responsáveis, não só verificaram cuidadosamente os documentos de identidade do meu filho, como também me mantiveram a par de cada passo do processo de check-in, garantindo total transparência e rastreabilidade. Isso dissipou imediatamente as minhas preocupações com a segurança do meu filho a viajar sozinho. Este nível de responsabilidade é verdadeiramente raro. O que mais me emocionou foi o serviço de despertar. Informei o hotel com antecedência que o meu filho tinha de apanhar um voo cedo no dia seguinte e que tinha receio que ele dormisse demais. O hotel não só anotou cuidadosamente a hora exata do despertar, como também ligou para o quarto na hora certa e até bateu à porta para se certificar de que o meu filho estava acordado. Chegou ao ponto de o lembrar de arrumar os seus pertences, para não esquecer os documentos e a bagagem, sendo ainda mais atencioso e detalhado do que eu, como pai, teria sido. O meu filho disse que o quarto estava limpo e arrumado, com excelente isolamento acústico, e que dormiu muito bem à noite. O número de tomadas no quarto não era muito grande, mas o hotel já tinha preparado uma extensão de tomadas com múltiplas entradas, permitindo que o telemóvel, o relógio e o power bank do meu filho carregassem ao mesmo tempo, o que foi muito atencioso. Embora o hotel não tivesse pequeno-almoço, havia muitas opções de pequenos-almoços adequadas para crianças a poucos passos do hotel. A receção até recomendou ao meu filho um estabelecimento antigo e bem conceituado, limpo e higiénico, pelo que não houve preocupações com as refeições. Como pai, quando o meu filho viaja sozinho, a minha maior preocupação é a segurança e a tranquilidade. Este hotel tratou de todos os detalhes que nos preocupavam de forma excecional, com um serviço atencioso e fiável. This trip, we stayed at Mehood Lestie Hotel and had an absolutely amazing experience – a well-deserved 5-star review! Staff Member 17 at the front desk provided incredibly thoughtful service; check-in and check-out were seamless and efficient the whole time. When we asked about scenic spot routes and local food around, they answered patiently and even gave us detailed reminders, making us feel a warm sense of familiarity while traveling far from home. The hotel’s overall environment is wonderfully pleasant. The lobby is elegant and tidy, the corridors are quiet and peaceful, and the rooms have bright, transparent natural lighting with a simple yet cozy layout. As soon as we walked in, we let go of all the tiredness from the trip and felt totally relaxed staying here. Cleanliness is truly impeccable – it’s the most satisfying part! The rooms are spotless, the bed sheets and duvets are bright white and soft with a lovely texture, and the pillows and mattress are really comfortable too. The bathrooms are scrubbed clean, with no strange smells or standing water; every small detail like the sink and toilet is wiped spotless. The toiletries are individually packaged, so we used them with complete peace of mind. The facilities are all practical and thoughtful. The high-speed WiFi is super stable, with no buffering at all when streaming videos or checking travel guides. The air conditioner works perfectly for both heating and cooling, and the sound insulation in the rooms is excellent – we slept through the night without any outside disturbance at all. The cost-performance ratio is outstanding; there’s literally nothing to fault about the service, cleanliness, environment or facilities. We’ll definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip, and we’ve already recommended it to our travel companions!

I stayed at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou for one night and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, although the TV size and limited channel selection could be improved. I also received a complimentary room upgrade, which I appreciated, but the room was quite close to the tunnel, so some noise could still be heard at night. The staff were detailed, friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. During checkout, the front desk even checked on my staying experience and noted down my feedback in their system for future stays, which I found thoughtful. The location is excellent, directly connected to Taikoo Hui and the MRT station, which made getting around very convenient. One downside was the spa voucher included in my stay package. Due to my tight schedule, I wasn’t able to use it, so I requested to exchange it for breakfast instead, but the hotel was unable to accommodate the request. It would be great if the voucher usage could be more flexible in the future. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and convenience, with just a few points that could be improved.

Eles ajudam ativamente a servir café durante as refeições e a recolher os pratos em tempo hábil. Instalações: A academia e a piscina são muito limpas. Acordei cedo e me exercitei por mais de 20 minutos. Há chuveiros e vestiários ao lado deles, o que é muito conveniente. Café da manhã: Há estilos chinês e ocidental, com grandes variedades. Os pés de frango e as costelinhas são deliciosos, então você não precisa sair para tomar chá da manhã. Também recomendamos macarrão fresco cozido e bolinhos de carne shacha! Transporte: Muito perto de Pazhou, estacionamento gratuito, estacionamento conveniente. Fica a uma curta distância do Oriental International Shopping Mall e do Poly Plaza, que fica a cerca de 2 km de distância e tem muita comida.
