Extraordinary experience! The room has a large balcony with a stunning view of snow mountains. Bed is clean and soft. Some chocolates and coffee are included. Basic amenities like towels, body wash, shampoo, hair dryer and slippers are included! Location is particularly awesome, exactly next to Grindelwald station. You literally step in the hotel right after you get off from your train. Breakfast is typical but well-served. Staff are very nice and provide clear guidance.

酒店在grindelwald 另一端上坡，不太近Grindelwald station and Coop，好在門口就係bus 121,122,123，不過一開始自己見Google map話係train station行15分鐘only，點知推行李上斜坡都幾辛苦😂 好在近Pfingstegg 和 First 纜車站，而少女峰就要either 搭bus 121,123或train to Grindelwald Terminal station，轉Eiger Cable car，一係就照去Grindelwald station，坐Train去Kleine Scheidegg 雖然住最高4/F，但房間冇冷氣，d蟲入哂房🫨 但風景係靚既，房又大，最衰冇雪櫃，只能夠在房煮下麵 早餐本身以為好少野食，但有得單獨order hot drink and egg，都幾好食 雖然見酒店餐廳dinner好似好多人贊，但太貴了，最平係4-course menu個d fine din，都要過CHF100

Almost Perfect Stay at Hotel Alpenhof Absolutely stunning mountain view from the balcony of our suite. So breathtaking yet so serene. About 10 min walk down hill brings us to lively village of Grindelwald with all its shops n restaurants n cafes n supermarket. Cannot ask for a better location. Having said that, without a car, it can be quite challenging to take our luggages uphill to the hotel. Breakfast is another highlight of our stay. Fantastic selection of cheeses n eggs n bread n yogurt n everything. Delicious. Our suite is clean n comfortable n spacious. WiFi is stable. The only “negative” I have for our 4-night stay is that the glasses/mugs we used in our room were occasionally not cleaned for us after each day. It is a bit strange. All in all, I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to other travelers.

The hotel is very beautiful and also the room with balcony that I could enjoy the magnificent view of the mountain. The breakfast was nice with different choices of food served in a traditional restaurant at ground floor. The garden in front of the hotel was planted with flowers. Will definitely stay again when I come to Grindelwald.

Although the weather didn't quite cooperate during my stay, the hotel's fantastic service more than made up for it. The hotel's interior design is simply stunning. Every aspect of the decor exudes elegance and sophistication. The attention to detail is evident, and it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the premises. The architecture and furnishings are tastefully chosen, providing a luxurious and comfortable ambiance for guests. One of the highlights of this hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day. The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making the stay truly enjoyable. breakfast was simply delicious! The array of options available was impressive, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. this hotel left a lasting impression on me. Easy to find. Very central in town. Very walkable. Shared bathroom wasn't an issue. Included breakfast left us full everyday. Very short walk to cable car to get to First. Quiet and cozy rooms.

Fica a cerca de 10 minutos de caminhada da Estação Grindelwald, e os intervalos dos ônibus são longos, então você precisa calcular o tempo cuidadosamente antes de se deslocar. Era bom poder cozinhar, mas não era muito agradável por causa do cheiro de óleo velho que impregnava o ambiente e não saía mesmo quando eu o ventilava. Acho que uma toalha por pessoa durante duas noites é um pouco demais. No entanto, a vista da face norte do Eiger da varanda era tão bonita que compensava todas essas deficiências.

We are staying in Grindelwald for a couple of days and we spent one night in this hotel. The location is a bit far away from the train station and it’s exhausting to carry heavy luggage over the slopes between station and hotel. The price is reasonable and the balcony view of Eiger is stunning. The hotel looks quite old where no ventilation system can be found in washroom. Wi-Fi signal is poor and we were unable to connect it in the room. We appreciate the breakfast as the food quality is good but seems the number of staff is limited. They are required to work in the reception for check in/out enquiries and at the same time busy rushing to the breakfast area to clean up the tables and food.
