We will definitely come back. Staff is accommodating and friendly. The King room is so spacious and beautifully designed. Probably the best hotel we have been to with this price range. Only downside is if you choose to arrange own parking the nearest CCP is not great & a bit of a walk.

Don't use the showerhead directly, or the bathroom will turn into a pond. The service really needs improvement. They'll overcharge you if you don't check your bill. I booked two rooms for three nights through Trip.com, but they kept saying they couldn't find my reservation. On the first day, they said they couldn't find the third day's booking. On the second day, they said they only found one room's reservation. Since I booked separately, I had to reactivate my key card every day. The power in the room would cut out and come back on automatically, and the curtains would open and close suddenly, which really scared me. The room cleaning time varied each day, and they'd often forget to replenish water or take a very long time. Plus, no one answered the phone.

The hotel forgot to arrange an airport transfer for us. We arrived with no one picking us up. We had to call the hotel reception on arrival and the lady on call recommended us to get a taxi instead of waiting for her to investigate. The supervisor offered us some Marriott points at check out.

Everything was excellent except for the parking it’s a bit of a walk, not the end of the world but a long walk and when I was there a car had run into a sign outside the front of the shopping centre which meant I couldn’t access the car park through the shopping centre and I had to go the whole way around the block. It was night time there were people around it was just a bit normal not a dealbreaker but be aware of that. The standout was the staff. They are brilliant. Nothing is too hard, they are polite and happy actually one of the best experiences I’ve had and I stay at a lot of hotels and I’ve done so for a lot of years Oaks Perth whatever it is that you’re doing as far as Training is concerned and dealing with your staff you are doing a brilliant job. They all seemed happy and contented and not one person made me feel like they were just at work. They really impresses me with positive attitudes and genuine helpfulness so well done for that. My only negative is the stupid car park. Other than that you guys are ticking every box and kicking goals. Keep it up

Overall, the hotel was okay. Clean, modern, and the location was next to UWA, where we needed to be every day. Not close to downtown or other services such as restaurants, so we had to eat at the hotel restaurant or order out. My main issue was that there wasn't a printer available for guests. Due to flight delays caused by bad weather, we had to stay longer after the 10:00 am checkout (until 7:30 pm) and were charged a full day (at a higher rate), despite the staff not understanding the situation and not prorating the charge. Disappointing, 

The room was OK, but considering the cost, over £200 per night for what is basically a Travel Lodge by UK standards, I expected it to be a lot better. The bed was comfortable, fixtures and fittings utensils etc.. were basic. Unfortunately we had to change rooms as the TV is all internet based and it was not possible to watch anything in the 1st room as the internet was so bad, we heard others complain about poor internet as well. Unfortunately in the 2nd room, the to programmes we watched did buffer quite a lot as the internet signal was very up and down.

i arrived around 10am. the staff was considerate to allow us for eraly check in. indeed we really need it after overnight flight. my son was comfortable staying in this hotel. walkable to murray street for grocery shopping, perth library and perth main train station. for muslims there are near to halal eateries like karache by sani , indonesian resto. strategic location and room size was good for 4 of us (2adults , 1toddler and 1 kid aged 6y). overall wonderful stay here

The service was beautiful since we’ve been here a few times they didn’t even ask for any deposit money and the room itself was very snug for the weekend I will be there again more often

Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus. Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness. Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own. Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!
