centrally located hotel, nice staffs, excellent breakfast. view from our room ＜41st floor＞ was amazing.

Reasonably central location, within short driving distance of most interesting places. Outdated interior and exterior. Good service and decent breakfast, but overall feels ill-maintained. Good pricing.

Overall experience was good , rooms are a bit aged. Somehow the water was down on Friday night at 21-00 for 3-4 hours , after 3 calls reception finally answered and said they don’t know why many rooms doesn’t have water. Also suggest to review movie list, half of them are not displayed anymore, or play just 6min and then off; lack of English movies and new releases.

Good hotel, it is well positioned in Gulou District, and services are good for the price. Maybe they can improve the quality of the breakfast.

Super old and smelly room, unacceptable under this international hotel brand, overpriced and not recommended at all!

As a regular guest at sofitel I continue to have good things to say about sofitel! The room was clean and fresh, electrical appliances in working condition and the water pressure was at reasonable standard. Under this booking I also had midnight snack and breakfast included. Although staff did forget to deliver my midnight snack. Annie at reception was very helpful, friendly and professional. She gifted me with a salted duck gift and a small sofitel branded perfume on check out! Furthermore as a member at sofitels fitness center and swimming pool (as somebody who swims everyday here)I was slightly annoyed with the amount of people in the swimming pool. There are 2 designated sections one larger area for free play and another for those who wish you exercise undisturbed. But today there were children everywhere and the life guard didn't seem to mind that kids were disrupting these clearly set up guidelines. After waiting around an hour for things to calm down I decided to complain to her but she just agreed that it was wrong and did nothing about it... After waiting another half an hour my friend managed to have a swim. I hope more effort is put into training staff around managing people within their designated areas.

The location is a bit away from metro station and there are a lot of construction around. The rooms are big and the swimming pool is very nice and well serviced. Breakfast is ok but one coffee machine working was not enough for all. The room service was fast and good. The concierge was amazing very helpful and attentive. Their English is very good. It is worth the money. Thanks Sofitel.
