Service at Bayerischer Hof starts outside, when arriving by car: They take care of your luggage and take the keys to park your car. Reception is very friendly, helpful and effectively under the Corona-Regulations, to provide a good room for you.
Breakfast is still good, but before Corona-Times it was definitely better. I only managed a Dinner at Trader Vic's, which is quite nice for tourists, but not the original food I know from Asia myself.
The four days at the Bayerischer Hof were the most comfortable time I had this year.
And now I plan to be back there in December - same hotel.

Acabei ficando aqui por recomendação dos colegas locais, já que era ao lado do escritório. Lembrei de ter ficado lá uma vez em 2005. Bem os quartos continuam idênticos, super antigos, fora de moda, escuros com poucas tomadas disponíveis. Enorme com banheiro e closet. Porém estava mais quente que o normal e por Economia de energia, o AC não foi funcionava então a opção era abrir as janelas para refrescar ainda que a luminosidade e o barulho atrapalhassem um pouco durante a semana. Comida do restaurante no topo eh excepcional mas a sobremesa no atrium deixou a desejar. Apesar da excelente localização, da próxima vez buscarei um hotel mais moderno e novo.

I’ve stayed at this property several times and it’s a solid choice in Munich. The staff are exceptional and because of numerous dining and bar venues, combined with a stellar spa it has a grand resort feel. The only qualms I have with the property are rooms are really great or really dated depending on what you’re assigned. What matters most, however, is the staff including the owner of the hotel truly care about their guests. I was amazed that the hotel’s owner stopped by each table New Years Eve to thank her guests. WOW! You certainly don’t get that very many places. Well done!

Room 472 hasn’t seen management in 50 years. Our furniture was fraying in a big way and you could not get into the shower and close the door - had to shower with shower door open. Very sad as the hotel is clearly historical and overall a beautiful work of art. Management should take room 472 out of rotation.

Hosted a dinner for our company and it was a nightmare! They want to charge for absolutely everything! €3.50 for our guest to put their coats, €5 per menu to be printed, €25 for a seating plan to be printed etc… complete disgrace! To top it up, I ordered a burger from the restaurant (€32) and it was probably the worst burger I’ve ever seen in my life! It must some kind of German institution as it has amazing reviews! The only good thing here is the staff. Very nice and attentive! In any case, AVOID AT ALL COST!!!
