Amazing place, looks even better than the pictures. The views are amazing, the service is top. It is a little difficult to get to but worth it. The design is so well thought out and includes everything you need. It was so quiet and peaceful, very comfortable and lovely amenities. I made a request for something nice for us and they went all out with beautiful rose decorations. It was so thoughtful and made it extra special. I’d love to return back here.

The hotel is beautiful, but it's built on a mountainside, so the buildings you need are spread out on a very steep road, so it's not easy to move around it. There are golf buggies that take you from place to place if you call them, but having to ask for a vehicle every time you want to go and eat or leave is quite annoying. The distances are walkable, but not if you have mobility issues. The pavements are also in far worse condition than the roads, so you end up walking on the roads and having to keep jumping out the way of the passing vehicles. Photos are attached of the view of the very steep road going up next to our balcony to show an example of the scale of the steepness. The location is remote. Apparently taxi apps like Grab and Bolt do not work here, although we did manage to quickly book a Bolt to take us here from Chiang Mai centre. A car and driver can be hired from the hotel for 2500 baht for 4 hours. I wouldn't recommend visiting if you don't have your own vehicle, as there is nothing nearby you can walk to. On check-in, the hotel said they offered room service, but there were no menus in the rooms. The room cleaning was slow if you are on a higher floor - on our 2 days, they didn't manage to visit all morning despite us leaving the ”please clean room” sign on the door. I found out later that you can ring reception to ask your room to be prioritised. The restaurant is expensive compared to central Chiang Mai, and they recommend that you reserve a table every night you want to eat there, but the food was good. Service was a bit chaotic. On the night we arrived, at 5:30 pm, reception told us they had reserved a table for us. But when we went to the restaurant, that did not seem to be the case, and we were taken to an unreserved table in a loud and echoey room. I then had to go up and ask to order as no-one came, and then the order was missing items when it did arrive. Randomly on the grounds near the lobby, there is a parrot in a tiny cage compared to its size with no entertainment, hardly any plants, and barely anywhere to perch. It's really sad to see.

Recommend to sped a time with just sit and relax leave out from mobile stuck with nature fresh air and good food hotel have a perfect view and design room also pretty everything is perfect i really love this place pump up 5 star and will be back spend my relax again staff also nice and helpful

After arriving, I was immediately shocked by the picturesque environment. This resort is surrounding the lush green ladder rice padding field with a picturesque pond decorated with lotus flowers. You can enjoy on your private terrace the surrounding tranquility and the harmonious garden symphony from birds, roosters, frogs and the scents from blooming flowers. This is definitely a place worth resting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. In addition, the service team gave unfailing support to anything you need. Restaurant Kwau gave us memorable tastes of Thai foods. With the help of Khun Kuan, we enjoyed pleasant dining experiences and tasted delicious foods from different areas of Thailand. The Spa is also commendable! Their massage skill is unparalleled in downtown Chiang Mai. Joining Buffalo washing like a farmer is an unforgettable experience for people grow up in city!

Very cozy and nice resort in Mon Jam. The resort architecture was really homey. We came to the resort too early before check-in time but we've been received great service and hospitalized to get early check-in also been upgraded to the bigger room to ”Mon Fah” that you can enjoy the stunning view at your room great balcony area. Hot chamomile tea retreated me from a bit cold but fresh greenery after rain during check-in waiting. After check-in, we took lunch at resort restaurant that they had Michaelin stars 3 consecutive years. Food was fresh and very healthy delicious especially organic vegg. We felt very warm hospitalized from all service minded and well trained staffs and especially 'Pee Su” the owner. All fruits especially papaya was really sweet and fresh. We encouraged yo support local organic farm directly here that you can enjoy shopping papaya, lemon, and seasonal vegg and fruits here. ”Nong Kwan” the resort staff brought us to the local chilli, lettuce and cabbage farm down hill that easy to access from resort. She's really friendly and amazingly she learnt how to plant by herself, from long year experience learning by doing was such a great expertise that she shared her know how with us and we learnt from her a lot about high land plantation. We appreciated Pee Su, Long Kwan and all staffs provided us great service like friends visit home. We promised next time to Mon Jam, we'll revisit your place once again for sure.

From the very first moment, we were greeted with an incredibly warm welcome. The staff here are beyond wonderful — always helpful, attentive, and thoughtful, even before our arrival when communication and service were impressively fast. And then… the view! Just wow. Absolutely worth the drive. It truly feels like a hidden gem tucked away from the chaos of the city. The peace and calm of the surroundings instantly washed away the stress of daily life — such a refreshing escape. Every detail of our stay was filled with care. From the flawless service throughout to our beautiful evening dinner, everything felt personal and special. It’s rare to find a place that gives both adventure and tranquility in one experience. The only downside? Having to leave such an amazing place! I would 100% recommend Chai Cheevit Maesa to anyone looking for something unique, peaceful, and unforgettable. I’m already planning to come back — and next time, I’ll be staying longer!

Eu realmente gostei do serviço no NJ Homestay.Embora o Pessoal não possa falar ou entender inglês muito bem, nós conseguimos usar o Google Translate. A casa de banho de nossa sala nos deu alguns problemas durante a nossa estadia o aquecedor de água não estava a trabalhar primeiro, e depois a casa de banho tinha problemas flutuantes, que continuaram durante as duas noites que lá estivemos. Aquilo foi dito, quero dar um grito especial ao pessoal, que sempre foi paciente e útil, nunca hesitando em ajudar-nos a desbloquear a casa de banho ou verificar o aquecedor quando houve um problema.A localização não é a mais conveniente desde que é O pequeno-almoço FOI incluído e era UMA Grande diferença. Quanto à limpeza, era aceitável considerando que o estadiamento está localizado EM UMA área montanhosa alguns bugs são esperados, e as rotinas começam a chorar tão cedo Como 3:30 a.m. E o pessoal amigável e o local (o povo de Chiang Mai é geralmente muito caloroso e bem-vindo) fizeram a estadia valiosa.Eu certamente visitaria novamente.

Highly recommended for Muslim travelers!!! We are a family of 5 with kids aged 18,13 and 10. This is our first time visiting this place. We came directly from the airport around 9pm, taxi fare was about 1500bht and the journey is about 1 hr. The moment we reached Mon View Ngarm, the weather was about 13 degrees!  We stayed at the Family Room (required a little hike from the check-in counter).  Check-in process is seamless and the staff guided us to our room.  The room is amazingly clean (no insects or even mosquitoes!) and the view in the morning is AMAZINGLY BREATHTAKING ! Halal Breakfast was simple for the 2 days we stayed. They had a little corner specifically for this and many other Muslim travellers were here too. Travelling around the area (if you have 5 pax) like me, I recommend you hire a private driver for the whole day (hotel can arrange for you) Mine cost about 1500bht. I’ll also recommend you to have Hotpot dinner at the breakfast restaurant in the hotel. It’s simple but it’s worth it to enjoy with the weather! Not all staff can speak English, so I have to use Google translate at times.  Overall, I couldn’t get enough of this place! Will definitely come back again to explore more. Don’t forget to bring proper clothing! Temperature will drop from late afternoon.

I have booked the largest room with a bathtub at the balcony. Thought it should be nice to take some IG photos. However, the showerhead faucet is running very slowly, and there was no hot water coming out at all. It feels like a bit warm water. However, the weather is so cool on the mountain…. It is also impossible to wait until the entire bathtub is full of water. Normal shower has no hot water at all and the shower head faucet was also running so slow. Not enjoyable and relax at all. Heard that another glampimg site site has the same problem. I will not go for glamoing in this area again.
