Se você procura uma acomodação acessível, achamos que este lugar tem o melhor custo-benefício. A comida é mingau de arroz e ovos cozidos, que são deliciosos. À noite, se você quiser pedir um churrasco e relaxar, o proprietário providenciará para você. Você não precisa ir procurá-lo sozinho. A acomodação também fica perto da Rua Pedonal Mae Kampong, a cerca de 10 minutos a pé. Se eu tiver a oportunidade, com certeza voltarei."

"We stayed one night in a glamping dome at Mon Kampong Kampground and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. What struck me most was how clean and well-kept everything was — the dome felt brand new, the bedding was crisp and fresh, and there wasn't a single detail that felt overlooked. It's rare to find a nature stay this polished; usually you trade comfort for the outdoor setting, but here we got both. The dome itself was surprisingly cozy for something so close to nature — comfortable bed, everything working perfectly, and just a genuinely relaxing space to unwind especially with the sound of the river flowing in the background. The surroundings near Mae Kampong village added to the charm, with a quiet, peaceful setting that made the whole stay feel like a proper escape. Service was attentive while still giving privacy and check-in was smooth. For anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-run glamping experience near Chiang Mai, I'd book this again no question. One of the best stays I've had — highly recommend."

"Overall hotel atmosphere was good, nice architecture and gardening, small waterfalls around resort. Rooms has fully amenities but the deductible about cleanliness was outdoor tub was dirt but acceptable because of the outdoors particle. First water from tap, shower had brown color with particles but acceptable because the resort located with nature then water might be from ground before purification. Breakfast was so fresh with veggies and fruits, great taste of coffee and assorted breakfast type we can choose. It's not Breakfast parlor it was set to order which was well preps. Overall was great."

"The place is a bit far away from restaurants and other things, but they have bikes for rent. The service was great, they are very helpful. Cleanliness can be improved, but I understand it is in a forest setting. About a kilometer or so walking distance from Yi Peng festival venue."

"The hotel/resort is located very close to Mae Kampong. While it’s possible to enjoy the surroundings, having your own transportation is highly recommended for easier movement. We visited in January, and the weather was beautifully cold and refreshing. The overall atmosphere truly feels like a return to nature, complemented by a strong Japanese-inspired design concept. I loved the thoughtful touches in the smallest details, which really helped create lasting memories. The breakfast was also absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Special mention must go to the staff — 100% credit to their efforts in making the stay memorable. There are small table games placed around the dining area and even inside the rooms, which added a fun and cozy element to the experience. For those considering a stay here, it is highly recommended. If you don’t have transportation, you can contact the hotel in advance as they are able to help arrange transfers.✨"

"note that there are 2 Chaiyapol Homestays so it’s good to check with them prior. i booked a Standard Room (B2) via trip.com and thought the location - as per the map - was a 10mins walk from Mae Kampong Village. lugged myself + heavy backpack up hills to find out when i reached that the homestay was located at the village itself (great location, walking distance to all the shops but wish i knew earlier!) apart from that, had an absolutely lovely stay. the young staff spoke english and was really helpful and nice. room is nice and clean. snacks + drinks are available for purchase in the room but tip: bring your own mama noodles for mookata! they sell one set for 350 baht which i enjoyed eating outside at the balcony staff also asked if i would like to join the sunrise at Kew Fin + Mae Kampong Waterfall for 100baht/person; pick up at 5.30am. glad i went! it was beautiful. it gets chilly on top so you can also take the white “bed runner” in the room as a scarf breakfast is included and is at a separate restaurant, just a couple minutes walk from the accom, located at the cafe At-Mae-Kampong. it was a buffet spread with healthy options. absolutely loved the congee! it’s so good, must try overall had a very pleasant experience. definitely recommend! homestay location is great and value for money. good for a 2d1n trip. i booked shared transport via klook from chiang mai"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As a solo traveller staying for one night, I was genuinely impressed with Portare Home in Mae Kampong. It strikes a perfect balance between feeling homely and offering all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay, all set within a beautiful jungle environment. Arriving by car was straightforward, and one of the first things that stood out was the charming luggage pulley system that carries your bags up to the main house. It’s a small touch, but really memorable and adds to the character of the place. I was greeted by several friendly staff members, and check-in was quick and easy. The design and architecture of the property are what initially drew me in, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I was shown to my room straight away and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was very comfortable, and the standout feature is the private balcony, which looks directly out into the surrounding jungle. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours, just listening to nature. The room itself is thoughtfully equipped, with bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, and a full set of bathroom amenities. There’s also a fridge stocked with cold bottled water. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and a beautiful freestanding bath positioned to take in the jungle views. The atmosphere really comes into its own in the evening, when the property is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing setting. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The light filtering through the trees and the sounds of the forest make it feel very special. In the morning, I was served a traditional Thai breakfast, with the option of fresh drip coffee and orange juice, which was a great start to the day. The location is also ideal, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Mae Kampong village, so you’re close enough to explore while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, this was a really relaxing and restorative stay. I’m very glad I chose Portare Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Kampong."
