While the housekeeping staff did a good job keeping the room and hotel clean, my overall experience was bad. No employees wearing masks or plastic protection panels at the front desk. The location is noisy, right next to the interstate. At about 2 am, I was awakened by three loud people talking, smoking, drinking beer and laughing outside my second floor window, near the front entrance. I could see them clearly from my window, just several feet away. They went inside after about 20 minutes. Then again, at 3 am, they were back. After another 15 minutes I called the front desk. No answer. Called three times with no answer. Called a fourth time when the people finally went inside. The clerk admitted she was out with the party people and couldn't answer the phone. Got little sleep. At 7 am checkout I recognized the clerk as the woman that was outside and on the phone. I asked for a refund. She refused saying her manager could only do that. Just then the manager walked in. The clerk talked to her manager, lied, saying she couldn't get the people to be quiet. The manager first refused to issue a refund, but then quickly gave me a refund after I stated that I saw the clerk outside partying with the people and confirming to me on the phone that she was outside. The manager was embarrassed and apologetic and very professional. That night clerk should be let go as I pointed out to the manager that I could have been calling with some kind of emergency. All that being said, I will not be staying at this hotel again on my frequent trips through the area for business.

I was looking for a value and based off previous reviews I was a bit worried. But I am happy I booked. It looks like they went through a total renovation. Pictures of my room are attached and there is no longer carpeting anywhere. The person at the front said they just got new door locks and are expecting new fridges and microwaves any day. Do yourself a favor and take the good deal while it lasts!

Dangerous entrance! When arriving from the interstate if you miss the hotel entrance (right turn - see pic) and turn around at the next street to make a left turn in YOU CAN’T (again, see pic). We almost got t-boned because we made the left attempt before we saw there’s a tall concrete barrier. Another caution, we booked and paid for our room on Expedia hours before we were to arrive. As we checked in the desk clerk told us Expedia’s payment card wasn’t working. It took 20 minutes and us placing a call to Expedia to get checked in. The other desk clerk told us that it’s better to book directly and not use 3rd party services like Expedia. This was the first time we’ve ever had this happen. Usually we walk up, give our name and the clerk hands us our room key. Overall, this hotel is okay for a good nights sleep after being on the road. It has a full kitchen including a full-size refrigerator and dishwasher as well as flatware, glasses, mugs, plates, bowls and they even supply dish soap!

This is the second time we stayed here and love that it's pet friendly. We booked the 2 bedroom which is really great. The hotel is clean and the area is great and safe with easy access to 77. The hotel staff....with one exception...was really great, especially Marcita who was so friendly and helpful. The exception was a man who answered the phone the night before we arrived when I called to ask about an early check in. He said they did not have enough staff so said it was unlikely and added that we might not be able to check in at the normal 3pm. I was concerned because we had a dinner to go to and he said the cleaning staff worked until 9pm to get rooms cleaned. That alarmed me but then he said he thought we might be in by 4pm. Well the next day when I called they said the room would be ready by Noon. It wasn't so much that they weren't sure about the time but his delivery and tone wasn't nice. The only issue we had once we checked in was the coffeemaker didn't work in our room. So that next day I stopped at the desk and there was a guy again who seemed annoyed but could see what he could do. Other than the guy(s) everyone else was so nice and I would have given it 5 stars. I would not hesitate to stay here again though.

After a long day of traveling we stopped at a rest area and found a booklet with this hotel for $64.99. So, we continued down the road and stopped here for the night. The room was a king bed and very quiet and very clean. Even though the hotel was not full we were put in the farthest back corner (probably due to the coupon) but it was okay. The only issue was that where you parked in front of the room was a mulched incline with no sidewalk. Interesting......Probably should consider spending a few bucks to make it more easily walking but we were only here for the night so we don not care not much. If we ever return here we would insist on a room with proper sidewalk entry but live and learn.

All that being said, I will not be staying at this hotel again on my frequent trips through the area for business.

While the housekeeping staff did a good job keeping the room and hotel clean, my overall experience was bad. No employees wearing masks or plastic protection panels at the front desk. The location is noisy, right next to the interstate. At about 2 am, I was awakened by three loud people talking, smoking, drinking beer and laughing outside my second floor window, near the front entrance. I could see them clearly from my window, just several feet away. They went inside after about 20 minutes. Then again, at 3 am, they were back. After another 15 minutes I called the front desk. This is the second time we stayed here and love that it's pet friendly. We booked the 2 bedroom which is really great. The hotel is clean and the area is great and safe with easy access to 77. The hotel staff....with one exception...was really great, especially Marcita who was so friendly and helpful. The exception was a man who answered the phone the night before we arrived when I called to ask about an early check in. He said they did not have enough staff so said it was unlikely and added that we might not be able to check in at the normal 3pm. I was concerned because we had a dinner to go to and he said the cleaning staff worked until 9pm to get rooms cleaned. That alarmed me but then he said he thought we might be in by 4pm. Well the next day when I called they said the room would be ready by Noon. It wasn't so much that they weren't sure about the time but his delivery and tone wasn't nice. The only issue we had once we checked in was the coffeemaker didn't work in our room. So that next day I stopped at the desk and there was a guy again who seemed annoyed but could see what he could do. Other than the guy(s) everyone else was so nice and I would have given it 5 stars. I would not hesitate to stay here again though.
