Room was a good size with views of square and the sea. Bathroom was a bit small, but understandable for an old renovated house, not an issue for us. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Season only starting in March, so restaurant options a bit limited. But the advantage is that village is not over-run with other tourists. Monemvasia itself is spectacular: the lower village with its stone buildings, alleyways (no cars), old city walls. There is a stiff climb to upper fortified town on top of hill, but worthy the effort. Spring flowers also a highlight. We parked the car on the approach road to the town and left it there for 2 days, no problems.
