The view of the hotel is acceptable, but the service needs improvement in many aspects. The rental of the swimming pool needs to be rented separately, which is particularly inconvenient. It is not convenient to eat nearby. The hotel's own buffet has various requirements. Customers are given hand straps of different colors. The plastic buckles cannot be taken off. Highly recommended. It is located on the street that leads to the medina. Very central. It is a hostel, clean, minimal, unpretentious but very cheap. The furnishings could be a little more refined but it's still fine. We stayed two nights. Friendly reception staff. Does not accept credit card.

As a five-star hotel, this price is really beautiful. The dissatisfaction is that the two single-bed rooms are not big beds but two small beds. This is suitable for families and for one person. It is not right, asking for a big bed to be pushed off, the pool gym service is not good, no need for bath towels, the room is generally good, compare the price of the surrounding five-star hotel is the best

The hotel is close to the train station and the old town, with convenient transportation. Staff service is good. The room is spacious, but the facilities are average, which is significantly different from the five-star standard. The room facilities are four-star at most. The water is not smooth, the towels are old, and the sound insulation is not very good. But the price is cheap.

The hotel is connected to the beach and the sea. The environment is great. The food in the restaurant is delicious and delicious. The breakfast buffet is too crowded and the service is not very timely. The overall value for money is good. You need to book in advance. It's always full.

Very good hotel

Although billed as a five star hotel, do not expect five star by Western European standards. This is not a criticism as it was anticipated by us, so we were not underwhelmed because we managed our expectations. Before you visit this resort, it is important to do just that - manage expectations.  Therefore, I am reviewing from that point of view, rather than from what I would normally expect of a five star hotel and am.comparing it to other, similar resorts I have visited. First impressions were very good, with a grand looking Middle Eastern / Persian style reception area which was clean, nicely furnished and cool with good air conditioning. Despite being 2am, we were met by a friendly receptionist, given small flower necklaces and a cold bottle of water each. We filled out some paperwork and were asked to pay around 80 dinars in local tax. This wasn't expected or explained anywhere, however, I subsequently found out it is normal and legal practice. We then made our way to our room and our luggage was brought to us. As a family of four, with two teenage children, I had booked a Junior Suite because the description on their website describes them as two bedroom suites, with a queen bed in one, and two singles in the other, with a separate living area. This criteria was a huge influence for us as we not only wanted separate bedrooms, but also really wanted a separate living area to relax during the evenings or other free time we had. We were disappointed to walk in and find just two interconnected bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two singles. There was no sitting room. Each bedroom had a balcony with a couple of chairs and a table and the main bedroom had a large bathroom with a big walk in shower, sink and toilet. The other bedroom had a separate toilet. Other than the disappointment of no sitting room, the bedrooms were comfortable enough, clean and nicely furnished. I spoke to the reception in the morning and explained that we had booked a suite with a sitting room. I was told that they do not have such suites. They only have the Junior Suites, which we had and are all set up like ours, or a prestige suite, which has one bedroom with a queen bed and a separate sitting room, however these, I was told, only accommodate two people. I even showed the guy the description and pictures on their own website (attached) but he insisted they do not have rooms like this and the pictures under the description of the junior suite are actually from two different rooms - the junior suite and the prestige suite. I explained that we were disappointed as we had specifically chosen and paid for something else, but there was nothing he could do and offered nothing other than an apology. I told them they need to redesign their website as it is clearly deceiving. Having read previous reviews, we had no issues with our in room air conditioning - it was in fact, very effective. I do not even know where to start – for most, it was great – lovely surroundings, white sand beach, not a problem to find a sunbed (maybe because it was not the height of the season), very nice and attentive service, excellent food and quite palatable wine (especially when compared with what you get in similar hotels in Egypt). Rooms are spacious and clean, perhaps a bit worn around the corners, but nothing really offending, beds are comfortable. There are no water bottles in the room, but you can always get one from the beach bar or 24 h bar in the lobby. The latter is also very convenient if you are planning an excursion which starts early: they will provide coffee and a sandwich any time. Of the negatives – there are very few. During weekends they have a disco in the club which is noisy, but it stops around 11-12 pm, so not that big deal. Room cleaning time was inconvenient – at least our room was being cleaned around the start of lunchtime, so as a rule, when we came from a beach, we had either to wait or to tell the cleaner we only needed fresh towels.
