Serendipity Rooms

申し分ないとても素敵な部屋。メトロの駅からも近く、治安も良い。最初レセプションがどこにあるのかとても迷ったが、ビルの人に聞いたりしてたどり着けた。レセプションの人たちは暖かくむかい入れてくれた。

It’s hot and humid in Milan in summer. Our 2 nights were without air-conditioning. Hotel promised repair but did nothing. I had to text them after the first night. The response was that the technician was in the hospital. Management wouldn’t hire another. Hotel manager wouldn’t refund even one night because, in their words, “We can’t give refunds”. There were no apologies either. The clerk could do nothing, and his boss wouldn’t answer his texts. I suggest you stay anywhere else. Good location. Too bad owner doesn’t care about client comfort.

Great location with everything you need for a short stay in Milan. Easy to find with the directions provided by the management team (so don't be put off by some of the reviews that say otherwise). Friendly check in and again was easy. The room was very spacious, shower was great (very warm) the storage boxes and hangars were welcomed and there are shutters which block out the light (make sure you put them all the way down!). The bed was slightly uncomfortable and for the first night we only had one pillow and as we were at the end of the check in time reception was closed so we couldn't ask for another until the next day. Several reviews mentioned noise, we didn't have a problem until our last night when we heard deliveries and bins being emptied at 4am (there are a few businesses nearby). Minor point, there was no kettle but there is a coffee machine and 'free' pods to use. Finally, the room was very warm and the air con didn't seem to do anything so not sure if we would have enjoyed the stay as much if it had been the height of summer. In summary; overall a good stay, great base for all the main attractions and the slight negatives wouldn't put us off coming back.
