We felt like in the classic Italian movies inside the family owned hotel and their restaurant with an amazing ocean view. An amazing and authentic experience.

Os quartos do sótão são muito pequenos e as janelas são clarabóias. Não é o hotel mais limpo. Muitas coisas fora do padrão. Apenas alguns guarda-sóis no terraço. As tomadas no quarto não pareciam seguras e o fio da antena da TV não estava conectado à conexão da antena. Molas salientes no colchão. A varanda tinha formigas e assentos sujos. Em uma boa nota! comida de restaurante adorável e vistas são incríveis.

I usually stay in basic, family run accommodation as am not a 5* lady so this fitted the bill. It could do with some basic maintenance and a wider selection for breakfast though but on the plus side was clean with great views and good food in the evening. Great bus service but just cross the road with care.Hot tub was uncovered but had no water in it, too early in season? Had some repeat guests but can appreciate it's not everyone's cup of tea.

Stayed there September 23 and did not see the negative reviews before I booked with TUI who did nothing to support us during our stay and by time they contacted us it was too late to be moved. The dining area is dirty. Rooms not cleaned daily same towels half of the week. ,"balcony" was actually the fire escape blocked off at the bottom with clutter. If you are there now look under the table cloths and you will see all the mould. The negative reviews written prior to our stay are not exaggerating and considering a few months later when we went they were not rectified I doubt they have changed. They are only friendly if you are returnees paying their extortionate prices for their bottles of wine otherwise they don't give a damn. I love Italy, I love Italians, I have lived there, this place does not care, it's living off the fact Pavorotti once ate there and he died decades ago. The food is poor and it's so sad because cheap basic Italian food is delicious but they cut corners every angle. Breakfast was meats out of packets and cake not eaten after 5 days after tea is then offered at breakfast and never enough croissants brought out to go around. The owners are so miserable it's such a shame because they do not represent true Italy which is amazing. TUI obviously don't care either once they have your money. Make your own choice but pay more and have a good time. I am only writing this because I cannot believe it is still available and even it there was 50 % off I would not stay there. As for the beautiful view. Outside is rundown and scruffy and on an evening you have one hour to dine and are shoved to one side so walk ins get the best view at the front of house to sit feeding their lapdogs off of the table. My review sadly, is negative enough so I will not embarrass them any further by adding photos but they were all sent to TUI.

Hotel situated on the hills not far from Sorrento. Bus stop at the hotel entrance. Rooms basic and clean. We had a private terrace and beautiful unspoiled views of the sunset over Capri. Francisco and his team were lovely, nothing was an issue. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Very quiet place if you like peace.

Myself and my family booked this hotel via TUI and I must admit I was extremely shocked when arriving at the hotel, the state and the conditions of the building was really bad and not what was shown on the TUI pictures when booking this. The owner politely handed us the keys to the room and did state that this is only where you sleep. Once we entered the room I was in even more shock, the bathroom had tape to cover up the broken pipes, toilet was chipped and broken and worst of all the smell that came from the bathroom due to the broken pipes was awful. Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel as it needs a lot of work and care which was seriously lacking.

Wonderful staff, wonderful hotel. Let me start by saying that if you want a sterile atmosphere with the usual hotel cliches, book somewhere else. If you want an authentic, genuine Italian get away that almost transports you back in time with staff that will bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable, stay here!! Yes, it’s a 15 minute bus ride from Sorrento town centre, (the bus is €2 pp) but the views alone from the roof top terrace with a drink of your choice more than make up for that. Again, if you’re not willing to get the bus, stay somewhere else. The staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly, even to the point of paying our bus fare one night when we had no cash on us. Great people. Please don’t blame the hotel for your tour operators choice of hotels, if you really want a true Italian holiday that requires you to take a bus now and then then you can not go wrong with the Villa Pina. We stayed in Room 16b and the view to Capri was the best view to wake up to you could possibly imagine. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for looking after us. Highly recommended providing you’re willing to accept that the place IS NOT A PREMIER INN!!! It’s authentically Italian. Its Bellissimo.

We have just come home from a week's stay at the villa pina hotel in room 114 and must say we have really enjoyed our stay here and the local area. The rooms are clean tidy and have the basics to allow you to be comfortable with your stay. A beautiful large shower, comfy bed and air conditioning. You can go down for dinner between 7-8pm every evening where you are served to a high standard. I must admit we only attended a few evenings as the timing was cutting our days out short so we ate in town most of the time and then came back and had a few drinks either on the rooftop or in there bar area. The drinks were a very reasonable price and the owners were always very friendly and accommodating to us. The location is a little way our of town and ment we had to catch the bus in or walk which was no issue once we had mastered the buses and these are very cheap at 2euros each way. And although the roads are busy with no pavements the Italian drivers seem very considerate to pedestrians giving plenty of room when passing you. Overall we would recommend the Villa Pina hotel providing you aren't expecting an ultra modern hotel with all the ENGLISH mods and cons. It's beautifully authentic and gives you the perfect taste of true italy. Lovely owners and lovely place so we would like to say thankyou for making our stay with you just perfect and we would love to come back.

My husband and I travelled with TUI in August 2023 to stay in the Villa Pina Hotel. On arrival we received a warm welcome from the owner, Francesco, who showed us to our room and explained the meal times. Our room was across the road from the renowned restaurant Antico Francischello-da Peppino, to which the Italians travel far and wide to eat. Pavarotti was also a regular here. Our room and the hotel were immaculately clean. Crisp white cotton sheets on a kingsize bed and a patio overlooking the olive groves and lemon groves, greeted us as we entered our room, which was large and also contained some beautiful antique furniture and a large television. Our bathroom was also large, with a walk in rain shower, bidet, sink, toilet and plenty of fresh clean white towels and toiletries which were replenished every day. The patio contained sun loungers, two chairs and a table and was very quiet and private, with a side sea view. Throughout the hotel and restaurant is a wonderful fresh smell....maybe it was the lemon groves, we weren't sure. The hotel is sited on the main Sorrento coastal road which, being the only road, is busy, however from inside the hotel and restaurant one cannot hear the traffic and it is wonderfully peaceful and quiet. This is a small authentic and traditional family run hotel, and the owners Firminia and Francesco work very hard from dawn to dusk 7 days a week. They are very friendly, as are all the wonderful staff, and cannot do enough to help you, and whilst they tolerated my very rusty Italian, they speak excellent English! The gourmet restaurant is outstanding with food beyond compare. You may sit where you choose, and all the tables have pressed linen tablecloths, serviettes and waiter service. From the restaurants you have a wonderful view of the island of Capri and in the evening you can see the sun setting over the island. Our holiday was half board and this was excellent value for money. Breakfast was plentiful and the evening meal consisted of 3 courses, with a choice of main courses and a choice of desert from the sweet trolley. The food was excellent and so on several occasions we also chose to have lunch in the hotel (which we paid extra for, but it was well worth it and still very good value for money!). All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and you could also get hot drinks throughout the day which as a hot chocolate addict suited me!! Down below from the restaurant is a very peaceful olive garden overlooking the sea and Capri where I would sit in the afternoon and read my book or just watch the ships and yachts sail past. Just outside the Villa Pina is a bus stop where the buses run every 20 minutes or so, and from here for just 2 euros one can travel almost anywhere. We went to the small town of Massa Lubrense where there is a beautiful church and plenty of small cafes and restaurants. We also travelled to Sorrento, full of shops and cafes. Francesco will arrange a trip to the Lemon Farm for you, and
