Book this hotel as i heard the reviews that it was good as its near to all main malls and attractions in melaka, yes we love how convenient it is. the room is fine just abit dusty especially at the sofa. not much channels in the tv even theres 2 tv in one room. breakfast was great lots of variety, on the first day we came down ard 8 but it was so so packed so on 2nd day we came down at 7, almost full maybe because its weekends. great stay but we didn’t book a room with view ours are windows to windows :( pictures are views from pool and my level view.

Stayed at The Shore for 2 nights over the Merdeka holidays. Had 2 connecting rooms on 32nd floor. Did not face much problem going up and down the lifts. View was great and did see fireworks because of the Merdeka celebrations. Since it was our first hotel booking here we were very confused with the parking layout. Signs should be bigger and brighter to direct guests to the correct lift ie Tower 1 to The Shore and Tower 2 to the Swiss Garden hotel. Check in was a breeze but was a bit surprised as housekeeping is not done on a daily basis. If you need towels and refreshments you need to make a request at the reception.

Regular guest at this hotel due its excellent location close to the main tourist attractions, eateries and shopping malls. Room is comfortable and quite spacious. My usual grouse is the tiny shower cubicle that leaves splashes of water on the bathroom floor. But overall, a satisfactory stay.

Hotel room is small but adequate. Close to a few major shopping malls, and about 15-20 mins walk to Jonker Street. Have a small gym and breakfast at Hatten Hotel. Coach to and from Singapore is right at their door step which is very convenient.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel Melaka, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Special thanks to Hotel Manager Mr Zahier, and other staff Mr. Syahmi, Mr. Aliff, and Ms. Alia, whose exceptional service made our stay even more memorable. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor truly stood out. A unique feature of the hotel is their dedicated WhatsApp number for guests, which constantly checks on your stay experience. This level of attentiveness is commendable. They even went the extra mile to call me back when I accidentally left my Apple charger behind, ensuring I could retrieve it without hassle. I highly recommend DoubleTree Hotel Melaka to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The combination of excellent facilities, delicious food, and outstanding staff made my visit truly enjoyable.

The facilities, including the pool and gym, were well-maintained, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was modern and welcoming. However, there were some issues that affected my overall comfort. First, the parking situation. While the hotel offers a premium valet service for RM25, it feels a bit overpriced given the alternatives in the area. Though convenient, the cost doesn’t match the level of service provided. The biggest downside was the bathroom design. The toilet and shower are separated by one of those glass partitions, which isn’t the most functional setup. It made the space feel cramped and awkward to move around, especially with limited space behind the bathroom door. The shower glass just added to the inconvenience—honestly, removing it might improve the usability of the space! On a brighter note, the staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in and check-out were smooth. Overall, Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka has potential, but small details like the bathroom layout and parking costs took away from what could have been a more enjoyable experience. **Rating:** 3.5/5

A good hotel for stay nearer to the tourist spots. Room is average with basic amenities provided. My room was not occupied with the laundry bag. It just a small cheap plastic basket. I guess for multi use. For breakfast, please come early as this is tourist hotel and you will see guests as early as 7.05am having their breakfast. Otherwise no seats for you.!Overall nothing WOW for me and it just an average experience. I saw the table cleaner clean the table using spray cleaning without taking out the spoon and fork on the table. Be mindful to wipe your cutleries before use.

It was a business and family trip. I liked the location to get to Melaka River Cruise and nearby bridge to cross yo Kg Morten. Easy to get food especially for dinner. Parking is ample at the connected multi storey car park within the hotel building. The premier room was good with a big bathroom with bathtub facing the window. The sink and counter top is good to bring food. Since the bathroom has taken up a big space..the room is a little bit cramped if you have stroller and big luggage bag but there are a lot of cabinets to put your things. The food for breakfast is a little disappointing as it is a small selection in comparison with the price if you need to add breakfast and they were no pastries, for 2 days the sambal nasi lemak was overcooked.
