Allen is the jewel in the crown that is the Louisville Bourbon Inn! His home is warm and welcoming. It was easy to relax and unwind in the comfortable surroundings. You can taste the love in Allen’s deliciously thoughtful, beautifully presented breakfasts. Of note, his gravy is on point! Our suite was perfectly appointed and conducive to a restful night’s sleep. Allen loves sharing his knowledge of the area and can help you with sightseeing or dinner plans. Louisville is lucky to have Allen and The Louisville Bourbon Inn, both reflect stellar hospitality that make you long to return to this old Kentucky home.

This was my first time to stay in a B&B so I have no comparison. However, if they are all like this one I will always stay at a B&B. The owner was top notch and paid attention to every detail. He provided good insight into the Bourbon industry and makes a great Old Fashion drink. The house is immaculate and the accommodations were very comfortable and spacious. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, sophisticated experience which made our bourbon tour that much better. We will go back.

My stay was Jeff and Allen was amazing. It was my first time in Kentucky and my first time at a bed-and-breakfast. I am now forever changed. Allen‘s breakfast was amazing. The room that we stayed at was gorgeous. Jeff and Allen really do put in time and effort to make sure everyone’s stay is wonderful and relaxing. We also had a bourbon Trail tour arranged by them and I can’t say enough how great it was of an experience. if you’re not interested in the bourbon trails, just staying on this property is a great weekend getaway, the neighborhood at Saint James Court is great for an afternoon stroll. If you are considering them, this is your sign to book your stay. You won’t regret it!

We were warmly greeted by Allen upon our arrival at this beautiful inn. The accommodations were fantastic, as well as the hospitality (food and drink). It has true southern charm. Would give our experience 10 stars if we could. Loved, loved, loved our stay and our host.

Louisville Bourbon Inn is absolutely GORGOUS! The natural wood is beautiful. Very clean. The host was fabulous. He was very kind and attentive. Always making sure we were comfortable. The breakfast he fixed us was delicious. I would rate this as a 20 if I could. Thank you for caring for you customers. I will return soon

Hands down -- Louisville Bourbon Inn is the "best" B&B I have ever experienced. The "mansion" was beautiful; the bedroom suites were spotless and charming -- the bathrooms were spacious, updated and modern and the towels were luxurious. One of the best features of the inn were the open living rooms (yes - there were two to choose from), and this is where my 3 sisters and I gathered to hang-out, relax, spend time together and enjoy sampling several of the owner's handcrafted bourbon drinks. The inn's location was "perfect" nestled in Old Louisville and across from a beautiful park. The proprietors, Jeff and Allen, were "spot-on" with friendly advise & timely recommendations of fun places to eat and exciting food to sample. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the incredible, chef-prepared daily breakfasts that were "over the top" in perfection. Yum! This B&B was the perfect place for celebrating a "sister-trip" (4 sisters gathering from all over the country) that included a champagne mimosa toast at breakfast, and a bourbon milkshake dessert in the evening. The amenities to make our stay special are too numerous to list - but I'm already planning an "extended" family trip for next year! Thank you, Allen and Jeff - your expertise and attention to all the "extra" details at the Inn made our stay incredible.

Such a charming visit! I loved all the little touches - the butler's pantry, the libraries, the cushy beds. Allen was a wonderful host, who makes a fabulous omelet and great local suggestions. Next time I'm back in Louisville, I will absolutely stay here again.

What an AMAZING experience! Hosts Jeff and Allen were welcoming and warm, the grounds were luscious and green, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the food was creative and delicious! Great location in historic Old Louisville - can't wait to return with friends and family to enjoy it again!

From the beauty of the house, to the comfort of the bedrooms, to the hospitality from host, Allan, this B&B is everything and more! Breakfast and cocktails are delicious and made to order. Allan is a talented chef and mixologist and cares deeply about his visitors’ experience. Such attention to detail is hard to find. The location is next to a quiet park but, easy to access all that downtown Louisville has to offer. A quick 10 min Uber or about a 2 mile walk to the center of downtown. This B&B is the perfect home base and hangout spot.
