This is the second time I am using this hotel. They have arranged a room at level36. Nice level and great view. Room is clean with fresh sheets. The issues are the rain shower was leaking spraying upwards. The air-conditioning is having a malfunction. It's either too warm or too cold. It's like 8degrees at night and it's really cold in the room or hot like sauna. Well stayed there for 2nights. There are Christmas decorations for the season. It make the hotel lobby livelier. Morning breakfast is decent. Its served with American breakfast and local Chinese cuisine. There are two major shopping malls beside it and one opposite. Great malls to hang out for Starbucks or McDonald's. There are many chinese restaurants available serving delicious food. Western food and Japanese cuisine are available too.

If you want to explore the tulou in a more relaxed way, I would recommend booking at least one night in the area. We went for the boutique experience at Du Lv hotel, a beautifully remodeled tulou near Yongding. We were 100% satisfied with the gorgeous and refined accommodation and the wonderful hospitality. With only 6 rooms available, the hotel never feels crowded or noisy so we were able to have a good rest. There is also a lot of common areas within the facilities where you can sit to read or enjoy a cup of tea. Our loft room was comfortable with all the necessary amenities. A very Instagram worthy Chinese breakfast is included in the price of the room and served at another location (remodeled by the same owner) nearby. A special thank you to Kayla who speaks good English and helped us organize transportation from/ to Xiamen and the tulou clusters in the area. We had our evening meals at the only restaurant in the village and the food was fresh, the service was friendly and the price was reasonable. The tulou that you can visit in the village feel very authentic and most of them are still inhabited so you can really understand how people live. During our stay, we visited those tulou and Chuxi cluster that I would recommend because it is more picturesque and not as touristy as Tianluokeng.

This hotel is located in a very friendly, small village. We stayed three nights and freely walked the village and the Tulous often being stopped by curious villagers to ask us where we are from. It’s clear foreigners are few and far between in this village but everyone was very welcoming. We have no complaints about the cleanliness, location or breakfast. The rooms and hotel itself are beautiful. If you are a light sleeper (like my friend) the babies crying in the next room or the child and father laughing and chatting in the other room till gone midnight might bother you. If you’re a deep sleeper like me, you’ll be fine! The hotel staff didn’t really offer much information to us initially. You’re kind of left to it. But when I added them to wechat they did answer questions we had and they cleaned the room when asked. For future reference here’s some information for foreigners who make make the journey. We found two good restaurants in the village and there are small shops with basic necessities. You can arrange a car to take you to different Tulous driving distance away or you could just walk through the village and into neighbouring villages exploring the more authentic Tulous. To be honest, the “tourist” Tulous weren’t of much interest and didn’t take a single photo. The more authentic, natural, “left to their own devices” ones were much more appealing to us. You can’t get the typical shot from a hilltop of a small group of round Tulous here in this village but you can get so much more of an authentic small, relaxing, quiet village experience at your own pace. We had a driver from Xiamen airport - 3.5 hours there because he didn’t take the highway but the provincial road. On the way back to the airport we came via the highway and it was 2 hours. It’s quite far away but we think it’s very worth it if you go prepared. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. We booked this hotel, therefore the location based on the look of comfort and the fact we wanted traditional, with modern amenities so we could relax as well as explore. It ticked all those boxes.

Five-star standard, 722 yuan, is still a reasonable price. There are not many parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel, you can park in the underground garage. The location is better, it is very convenient to eat and go shopping around. The hotel's breakfast is very rich! The window can't be opened, it's a bit stuffy at night, I don't like the state of the air conditioner throughout, and I feel that my throat is smoked. The toilet and shower rooms are independent. There are doors, floor-to-ceiling glass curtains between the bathtub and the bedroom are useless. It can be seen clearly. This is not good. A family traveling has to have privacy. The biggest feature of Longyan is that there are too few taxis, all of which are online car-hailing drips, T3...

What an experience it is to live in a tulou! A friend recommended an inn in an earth building. It was the official residence of the fourth rank official built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It was designed by the prefect of Tingzhou at the time. It has a courtyard structure and claims to be the most magnificent building in the earth building [laughing]. The boss Awen was very enthusiastic. He made tea for us, talked about the history of his family, and introduced how to play the Tulou. I am especially grateful to him for recommending the Chuxi Tulou. I feel that Chuxi will no longer look at the building after returning [laughing][laughing] For breakfast, they even brought out nutella and hazelnut butter for us to dip our bread into, which was such a surprise! He is worthy of being a boss doing business with foreigners [Qiang][Qiang][Qiang]

The hardware of the hotel is relatively new, but the software facilities are in urgent need of improvement 1. There is only one gargle cup in the bathroom. After calling the front desk, the supervisor of the station inspected the scene, and then a man in casual clothes with a mobile phone playing mahjong came and arranged for the aunt to come over to renovate the bathroom. The aunt said that there was a problem with the cleaning cup last time. Went for a replacement but forgot to get a new one 2. There is only a little bit of toilet roll left, and there is no spare to replace in the whole bathroom 3. The toilet is not clean and has urine stains 4. There is an unknown insect corpse at the junction of the room and the corridor 5. To cast the mobile phone screen to the TCL TV in the room, you need to press the remote control of the TV to confirm, but you didn't see it until you checked out.

Although in the scenic area, tickets are theoretically required, but when we arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening, there was no one checking the tickets at all, so we drove in directly. When I left the scenic spot the next day, I drove out directly. Therefore, if you just stay and look at the exterior, you should not need to buy a ticket. However, if you come out to play, since you are here, you still have to go to Zhencheng Building to have a look. It is really good, and you need to check the ticket to enter this building. Due to time reasons, I didn't go to see Louwang, nor did I go to Huanjilou. But there shouldn't be much difference, the core things are the same. The hotel itself is definitely the best one in the scenic area, and the environment has nothing to say. In terms of cost performance, it is not too high. If you are sensitive to price, don't choose it, otherwise you will definitely not be satisfied. Those who like this kind of feeling will not care about the price. There are other low-cost homestays that live in earthen buildings, but the comfort is very poor, it depends on how you choose. The lighting on the exterior wall of the hotel is a bit dim, and there is a parking lot in front, so it is not easy to see at first sight at night. At the end of the navigation, you can go directly to the villager parking lot, and you can stand on the side of the road if there are too many cars. Duplex rooms, each floor has a door to go to the outside corridor to see the yard scenery. The facilities are fairly new. The breakfast is simple, but practical, and the taste is not bad. There is a feeling of being at home. The service attitude cannot be compared with four-star and five-star hotels, nor can it be compared with many homestays in Lijiang. However, if you don’t have high expectations, you will think that the service here is actually not bad. In fact, the enthusiasm is not enough. The store should go to other homestays to learn more. can be better

The hotel facilities throughout the resort are okay, and the children are very happy. However, the service in the hot spring area is a bit lagging behind. There is no tour guide book at the front desk of the hotel for the first time. Just like **, I can only call to ask. Guests are required to change into their own swimwear when going to the hot spring area. You can't take your bath towel out when you come back. The air conditioning in the hotel and elevator is very cold, so it's easy to catch a cold. The buffet is very good, rich in variety and delicious, and the staff is also very attentive. The service is also good.

I have always liked tulou buildings. After comparing several tulou groups, I decided to come to the least commercial but most beautiful tulou group, the Chuxi Tulou group. Jiqinglou is the most beautiful earthen building in my opinion. While looking at Ctrip, I suddenly found that there is Yuqinglou Inn where I can live. It was a pleasant surprise. I was worried because the journey was too far before departure, but the owner is really super nice , very talkative and introduced me to many characteristics of Tulou. The picture of Heitian in the picture below is the interior of Yuqinglou Inn. It is very similar to the scene in the movie Big Fish and Begonia that I have seen. The food cooked by the proprietress is also very delicious! ! ! The price is very fair! ! ! The sanitation of the inn is very clean, and the boss will also ask us about our needs. It is very livable when it is not too cold or hot in spring. Walking in the village to feel the atmosphere of Xanadu, I really had a lot of worries when planning this trip, but I felt more at ease after coming here. The next day it rained and the clouds and mist on the mountain were more beautiful. Everyone who comes to see Tulou must come to Chuxi Tulou! Yuqinglou Inn is really warm! Give the boss a thumbs up!

Because this hotel is newly opened, there are not many reviews yet, and most of the accommodation in Tulou is very simple and even the bathroom is not worthy of a quilt, while the high-quality homestays can easily go up by two or three thousand during the National Day, so when I found this homestay With a mentality of taking a gamble, I didn't expect to be amazed from the moment I checked in! Whether it is geographical location, play experience, service attitude of hotel staff or hardware facilities, it can be said that it has achieved the ultimate in an ancient earthen building. The hotel's performance and choreography are said to be jointly authorized by the Tianya Mingyue Sword mobile game. During the stage play, guests can sit in the venue and participate in the interaction. Adults and children can change into ancient costumes, become a member of the four sects, and participate in small games. The most famous sect will go to the moon platform to watch the fireworks show. The entire interaction setting can be said to be very attentive. The big moon installation on the roof is really beautiful at night. After late at night, the entire inner courtyard of the earth building is quietly sprinkled with quiet lights, which makes people feel refreshed. In terms of hardware, I have to mention that there are two elevators in the earth building. One is a transparent sightseeing elevator next to the big moon, and the other is hidden in one of the wooden doors. In addition, the wooden ladder of the earth building itself is kept. While destroying the characteristics of the tulou, it incorporates modern convenience and fashion sense. The interior is even more satisfying. The rooms in the previous earth building were very small, but after being combined into one, the current guest room has more than 30 rooms in four floors. Each room is equipped with Wrigley's smart toilet, lighting mirror, nut projection, adjustable central air-conditioning, various tea sets, modern Chinese mahogany furniture, simple but not simple. The shampoo and conditioner is equipped with L'Occitane. Today, many five-star hotels have reduced the allocation, which is really hard work. Lying on the bed with my son at night, I replayed ”Big Fish and Begonia”. I didn't expect that one day I would sleep in an earthen building and watch this movie, and I feel very moved when I think about it. In the old environment of the Tulou, it is possible to carry out such renovations, and the price is reasonable. It opened before the 11th of this year, and the price of the National Day is still at more than 1,000 points. Compared with other high-end Tulou homestays, it is more cost-effective. It is much higher, not to mention the various experiences such as performances here. Performances are only available on holidays, including weekends, and will be performed on the next day during winter and summer vacations. You can ask in advance and check in before the price increases!
