The staff were kind and professional. However the place seems to have run out of money for the upkeep. The towels were ratty and threadbare. Worse yet the bathroom was a health hazard! Mold everywhere. We were in room #2.

Unfortunately there were not enough reviews when I booked through ********** I feel so wronged by the stay that it is borderline a scam, the B&B has rebranded from the old name (Mirage.. like the illusion it is!), you will still see the old tag on the doors and by the doorbell. Reading the reviews, they own another one nearby which seems better but they allow overbooking, so they send unaware people to the Four Season. The staff is friendly and helpful, the check-in and check-out were efficient and smooth so nothing to complain about it. The issue is the greediness of the owner that tried to transform a flat in a B&B obtaining rooms from questionable spaces. Maybe we were incredibly unlucky, but our room had like a bit with lower ceiling and an above garden/terrace/passage and where the bed was it was higher ceiling with a window closed with plywood. Same with the "door" it used to have glass and they put plywood (so no sound-proof), The rooms are directly into the main building stairs, so the ridiculous door did not made me safe at all considering that the main door downstairs gets stuck with the flooring and it is hard to close. The bed had no bedhead, and you could see hands stains in the paint behind the pillows, the mattress very uncomfortable springs, the towels were the most worn out I have seen in my life, with loose threads and small holes, the bedsheets paper-thin. The minibar was inside the wardrobe and made it go about 35 degrees, so we turned it off, the air con is positioned in the "entrance" and because of the lower ceiling in the middle, it struggles to cool the area where the bed is. The bath has some useless cover that will let water out on the floor. It has been a relatively cheap stay but with 20 euros more you can get much better places. Maybe other rooms are not as disgusting but in many years of travelling this has been the worst stay for quality of sleep, cleanliness, noise, safety and comfort. At least the staff is nice! To add to the injury the breakfast is in the nearby bar, all their pastries are cheap frozen stuff and their coffee brewing and milk frothing skills non-existent, I'd rather pay 5 euros less my stay and buy what I want. As I said, with Airbnb and the booming tourism everyone thinks they can get into the industry offering a level that maybe is not even worth of hostels.

If you're on a budget and need something very central you may get lucky and have a decent room. Mine was terrible, not even hostel level, air con working poorly, no bed head and visible stains in the paint which made uncomfortable having the pillows so near, the mattress is with springs and uncomfortable, the furniture basic and old, the bathroom's rigid cover did not work properly and in the middle water was leaking while showering wetting the floor, the fridge was inside the wardrobe heating it to high levels and making it unusable because the air con could not possibly cope with that heat bomb, the door was originally with glass which they substituted with chipboard, same with some "windows" inside the room. They use different names to avoid bad publicity, when I booked there were only few positive reviews and now fourseasons/mirage has got plenty real reviews in July. The breakfast is in the nearby bar, one drink and one sweet pastry. The croissant are the frozen style, not good. The pictures are extremely misleading, I would have never booked it if they had put real pics of my room The welcoming was ok and the guy nice, finding parking nearby paying 1€ 1h until 21 was easy. The rooms are in a very central spot. Do not pay more than £45-55 for a room here during high season, wasted money. Please read reviews for the Mirage B&B yo get a better idea

Locali molto sporchi, per una vacanza la pulizia è essenziale ! La biancheria, sia da letto che da bagno, al limite della decenza ! In 4 giorni non è stata mai sostituita, pur avendolo richiesto ! Mancanza di armadio, camere con porta d'ingresso a vetri !?!? Assenza di manutenzione. E mi fermo qui, ma altri rincareranno la dose.

Non ho parole... avevo prenotato un un altro b&b ma all'ultimo minuto ci ha dirottato su questo b&b per problemi tecnici...mah! Che dire piumone matrimoniale sporco bagno con una vasca al posto della doccia lenzuola bucate ed anche le asciugamani. Ho dato una stella solo per la colazione al bai unica nota positiva. Appena arrivata mando un messaggio all'host con la foto delle lenzuola bucate ma non ha avuto neanche la cortesia di rispondere. Concludendo oltre che sporco anche poco cordiali, avrebbero potuto sostituire la biancheria

Posizione ottima, vicinissimo al centro e a molti dei principali monumenti. Struttura nella media, ma poco organizzata (reception quasi mai aperta, tv in camera non funzionante, manca il frigorifero).

Struttura da evitare assolutamente. Ho effettuato la prenotazione di due notti su Booking ma a una settimana dalla partenza mi arriva un'email nella quale risulta che la carta non è accettata, aggiorno i dati e mi arriva la medesima email di rifiuto. Allora contatto la struttura e mi dicono che il problema è Booking e mi dicono di rimettere la carta. Sembra tutto okay ma il giorno prima del soggiorno mi arriva un’email nella quale viene comunicata la cancellazione della camera. Richiamo quindi la struttura e mi comunica che non ci sono più stanze singole disponibili ma una doppia ad uso singolo. Prenoto perciò la camera offerta non passando da Booking. Arrivata in struttura la camera è totalmente diversa da quella che si può vedere nelle foto e per di più è sporca. Non prenotate qui !!

Ligger bra till men är riktigt slitet coh dålig isolering så man hör ALLT som händer i huset och utanför. Fruksost består av en varm dryck och en croissant. Mögel i duschen och sängarna har sett bättre dagar. Fanns ingen handtvål och att få en temp på duschen som inte varm skållande eller isande gick mer eller inte i vårt rum. Men som sagt ligger bra till och de har öppet för incheckning under lång tid
