Hotéis perto de Railway Station Area, Kunming

Service was excellent as staff at Reception counter is able to understand English. Good customer attributes and with smiling and dedicated services. Even help me to fix problem on the coffee dispenser provided with compliments beside the reception counter. Location is strategic and near to Kunming. Room is extremely big and price is reasonable. Highly recommended. Will book again in my next trip

Localização: Situado a 300 metros à direita da saída da estação de trem, muito conveniente, ideal para conexões com trens de alta velocidade para Mile, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La, etc. Refeições: O café da manhã era bom, especialmente os bolos de flores; oferecer mais opções como especialidade seria uma boa ideia. Atendimento: Este foi o aspecto mais satisfatório. Desde o check-in até todas as vezes que entramos ou saímos do hotel, as recepcionistas foram incrivelmente atenciosas e educadas. Esta foi minha primeira impressão positiva de Kunming. O proprietário deveria considerar dar um aumento e uma promoção a essas funcionárias.

O quarto era bom, uma opção pequena e acessível, mas com todas as comodidades. Fica perto da estação de trem. No entanto, deixei meu colar na mesa do quarto, em um saco plástico. Depois que saí, a camareira não entrou em contato comigo. Um colar de 70 yuans não vale muita coisa, então não me incomodei.

the rooms were tiny, and the lighting was terrible - as a female i couldnt do my makeup conducively, and my partner complained that he couldn't see the stray facial hairs under the harsh and poor lighting either. there was the baidu xiaodu smart speaker (equivalent of a Google Home speaker) which was pretty cool if you're able to speak in mandarin to navigate it, other than that there's really nothing to shout about. the paid breakfast was extremely underwhelming with really minimal options/spread. i think the best part of the hotel is that its located next to a fruit stall thats open 24 hours, where i bought the freshest berries. thats about it. personally would not return due to the lacklustre service.

I stayed at the location twice. They asked me to quickly leave a review the moment when I arrived on the first time, I noticed this in China, they do this a lot. My first visit the room wasn’t so good. I opted for a smoke free room, but somebody has clearly smoked inside and all my clothes smell like cigarettes after staying for one night, but I have already left a review. The moment I checked-in I wasn’t pleased with the room. The second visit, they upgraded my room to a bigger room, hoping that I can give them five star review again. I have issue with their mattress which is very hot, so I removed the mattress protector and I was able to sleep a bit better. The rooms are well cleaned, the location is very near to train station.

I stayed on the second highest floor in the very last room, away from the elevator. I appreciate the thought of putting me on a higher floor even though I had not asked for it. However, there were constant angry loud banging coming from next door to my room, and also from above my room, which scared me at night. Aside from that, all the staff told me that the hotel is brand new, so there will be a constant smell of chemical plastic coming from the air conditioner when turned on, which resulted in me coughing and becoming ill near the end of my 7-night stay. Everytime I come back to the room, the plastic smell gets so strong that I had to turn off the A/C and open the door for ventilation. Furthermore, the lady manager came to my room one day, asking me about the encounter I had with their night security guard two nights prior. I told her some of which had happened that was unprofessional. This particular security guard had followed me to where I had bought my dinner one night (bbq goose shop next to hotel), and had asked me a couple strange questions, as in why am I in China and that there must be ulterior motives in my visit to China. The way he asked me rubbed me the wrong way as I didn’t know how else to tell him except that I’m in mainland China to sight-see for the very first time. Nothing else. He seemed under the impression that I was in China for more important reasons and I found it really awkward and impolite as I had already told him my reason, to which he disregarded as untrue. Not a fun nor friendly conversation with a guest of the hotel who is also a foreigner. I get that he may be rusty in conversing with strangers but perhaps hotel managers could help him understand more common etiquettes and tact when interacting with hotel guests from not only China but all over the world. Anyway, the lady manager was very upset towards me after hearing what I had to say about this incident and decidedly undermined my words by eyeing me up and down my attire and conveyed a disdain for my presence, which undoubtedly is the worse thing you can do to a hotel guest when confronted by one of the more negative experience shared. She not only disagreed with what I had shared and that I should forgive the night guard as he is older and doesn’t know how to converse with people very well. I said all is fine. I only shared this information as she had gone up to my room to ask me about what had happened with this night guard. Oh and by the way, on that same night, after I bought my goose dinner and had eaten it, I was followed by the same night guard after throwing my garbage near the elevator on my floor, as he instructed me to do so prior at the goose shop. So he was literally waiting the whole time for me to come out of my room to throw my garbage! That encounter was so creepy and scary, that I recalled having goosebump when I ran back to my room for safety, all the while him following me from behind… Overall, the lady manager with her proud, egocentric nature is really unappreciated and unsightly. I am now left with the idea that as a Canadian Chinese, I will be treated as such while staying at mainland China hotels. This entire hotel experience left me with feelings of outcasted, prejudiced and treated less than what a normal hotel guest should be treated.

Whilst within walking distance to Kunming railway station, further walking to the metro line. Room is spacious with complete amenities, beds are comfortable. Washing machines on 14th floor but no detergent or dryer. Lifts are shared among 5 other hotels. Late checkout request was granted which was appreciated.

I can only leave an excellent review for this place. We are an Italian couple who stayed here for one night. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The owner is an exceptionally welcoming and kind person. Having arrived at the station at 6 in the morning, she offered us another room to rest in since ours wasn't ready yet, and check-in wasn't until 2:00 PM—thank you again so much for this gesture. Inside the room, you'll also find a hair dryer, a kettle, mugs, air conditioning, a projector, and even a bathroom heater. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel with a unique fragrance. We also had the chance to meet the cleaning lady, who was equally lovely and all smiles. Plus, there is a brand-new, highly efficient washing machine. I really wanted to write this review because, after reading the previous ones, I saw a totally unfounded and maliciously negative review left by a girl and her friend. This brand-new place deserves to be visited and to have a high rating. Thank you again for the hospitality, I hope to be back soon!

We had an excellent stay here as a family. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were helpful with every request. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, was spotlessly clean, and the amenities felt fresh and well-maintained. The location is unbeatable—being so close to both the Kunming Railway Station and the Huancheng South Rd Metro made getting around the city incredibly easy and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kunming!

É um apartamento estrategicamente localizado perto da Estação Ferroviária de Kunming. O proprietário me deu instruções muito claras de como chegar a pé da estação até o apartamento antes da minha chegada, o que facilitou bastante a localização, em apenas 7 a 8 minutos de caminhada. O quarto tem banheiro privativo, um pouco pequeno, mas com todos os itens necessários. O proprietário foi muito gentil e permitiu que eu guardasse minha bagagem após o horário de check-out, já que meu voo era à meia-noite. Um quarto aconchegante e confortável, gostei muito da minha estadia.
