This is a very rare small resort. I don't care about the various regional hotel awards at the front desk. Instead, I try to experience it. The hotel is transformed from an old building in a Spanish-style outer ring, although I don't have it. Asking about the purpose of the original building, I have always told me that this was a military camp. Haha, this confidence is no one... Anyway, I like the wooden doors with thick traces of the years, the blue sky and the white walls and red tiles. With a variety of green plants, the hotel's night is accompanied by the melodious singing of the sound of the waves, as well as the passionate and psychedulous national dance... The experience is naturally printed in memory! Just talk about it, the hotel is a great place to enjoy the sunset, do not deliberate, go out!

This is our favorite, the second time I returned to this hotel. I will come back next time. Very beautiful, very quiet beach, close at hand. Adults and children are very fond of it.

This hotel is located along the coastline of Mirissa, that is, the kind of beach where the room comes out. Breakfast is not included in the general hotel in Mirissa, because whale watching will go out early in the morning the next morning, and usually return to the hotel around 11 o'clock. There are not many sea-view rooms, and extra beds can be added to the rooms. The bathroom in the room is large, the facilities are complete, the reception desk, catering service, etc. are very good. The only drawback is that the check out time of the room is 11 o'clock, and you have to check out when you come back!

It's hard to know where to start with this review. From the moment we booked the general manager sent me a personalised message. We arrived greeted by a refreshing cold towel and a tour of this beautiful hotel. We booked the grand suite for 8 nights and 9n entering it exceeded my expectations. The room is huge tastefully decorated spotlessly clean. The bathroom is beautiful and there is even a small kitchen area. The veranda overlooking the pool was a gret place to have our morning coffee. The grounds make you feel like you are in a tropical rain forest and the pool and separate jacuzzi are lovely. Breakfast was a delight and they adapted every morning to our tastes. All of the staff are amazing and friendly. And the general manager is so lovely greeting us personally every morning asking about our stay and if there is anything they can do for us. All the staff were a credit to this beautiful place. Ps the private beach is stunning feels like your on a tropical island. I wish our stay was not ending tomorrow. Would not hesitate to come back. We can not say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to details. We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

This place took me by surprise. Leaving the loud main road, you wind up briefly to a perfectly serene, quiet retreat, staffed by some of the most kind and genuinely invested human beings I’ve ever met. Our rooms were great, wifi worked without a problem, and there was never any power outage. The kitchen is what really got me, though. I normally don’t eat much at hotels, seeking more local experiences outside. But during my three days in Unawatuna I did not once eat anywhere other than Thambapanni. The food here is nothing short of divine. Margarita pizza better than I’ve had anywhere, sautéed Tuna that redefined how fish could be prepared for me, hell even the base salad was masterfully seasoned and actually full of flavor. I actually got to know the chef, Lionel, just to thank him for his effort and the clear attentiveness and knowledge he brings to his craft. The waitstaff was also very helpful. Deshan in particular was so helpful, ever attentive without being obtrusive. At one point he even offered to bike into town to get some antihistamines for my wife, who was suffering an allergic reaction at the time. And the owner, Alex, even took me and my wife on a tour of his farm! This was the other secret to why their food is so amazing—aside from Lionel’s experience and professionalism, they locally source their ingredients! Alex showed us where they grow cinnamon, coconuts, bananas, and the chickens, so full and contented. Everything about this place was clearly the product of dedication and love, from the field to your plate. When we had to leave, my wife and I actually felt sad to go. And the receptionist at the front desk, having noticed my wife photographing flowers, actually made her an adorable little flower keychain from folded ribbons. Delightful location, unbelievably good food, kind and genuinely invested staff, 5/5 would do it again.

Super heerlijk relaxen in deze prachtige plek in weligama Zorg dat je in de beach hut verblijft Eten drinken de verzorging allemaal fantastisch met name de butlers sandun , rex en prahin hebben heel goed voor ons gezorgd, koud water onder de parasol en s morgens een heerlijk ontbijt op je eigen veranda De staff van het hotel regelde voor ons tuk tuk waarmee we in het stadje een keer uit eten gingen , ze gaven ook restaurant tips en tips wat te doen De bedjes staan in de tuin met uitzicht op zee , de zee is toeganlijk via een paadje met een hek, de zee was heel ruw en er zat een hele grote trekkracht in , er werd hier ook niet gesurfd in de zee veelrotsen en een stuk kiezelsstrand,snorkelen weet ik niet, waterschoenen zijn handig Vanuit dit hotelzijn we ook weer met een tuk tuk naar de turtle hatchery geweest en naar een tee plantage

The hotels were always healed with a smile. The food was OK. I think the location is very good. I will use it next time.
