We had such a wonderful stay at Headlands House recently now in July. We were so warmly welcomed by our lovely hostess Crystal upon arrival who gave us a tour of the house and some recommendations of places to go eat and explore. Very much appreciated as this was our first time in Knysna. We have a 3 month old baby, so stayed in the Fynbos room which had ample space for a camp cot and us to stay comfortably in the room. There is a camp cot on request for a small additional fee for which was perfect for us as we didn’t need to travel with our own one. The views are truly stunning from that room and it was so nice being able to see the heads so clearly. The weather was a little wet when we were there, so we spent some time cozied up in our room watching the sea which was nice and relaxing. The rooms have heaters in them, and additional blankets and hot water bottles are provided too so we were comfortable and warm. I would also highly recommend the delicious homemade crunchies that are in the room for you upon arrival - absolutely delicious! Breakfast each morning was a delicious home cooked meal (we had the jungle oats and English breakfast on day one, and the jungle oats and French toast on day two) which just started our day off so well. Debbie was also so kind as to hold onto our little one for a few moments so we could have a bite to eat, really appreciated that personal touch. The guesthouse has parking outside the house so no need to park and walk far, and is very safe. All in all, would highly recommend staying here, the team are lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is perfect.

Absolutely loved my stay at Headlands House. The place has an incredible sea view and Debbie’s hospitality is just so warm & lovely. The breakfast with the view by the fire place was a highlight. Debbie is so lovely, friendly & has the best recommendations of restaurants & even a doctor, who we had to visit while one of us was sick.

Headlands house exceeded our expectations. While we stayed for a short period Debbie added a ton of value with her recommendations, plus their Knysna guide has everything you need to know to have a great time at Knysna. The view during breakfast is bar to none. Great place, run by great people.

From the moment we booked, we felt welcomed and cared for. The room had an amazing view, and was very comfortable. The location was perfect, and the breakfasts were superb. We can highly recommend this venue to anyone traveling in the Knysna area.

The location and view were amazing. The staff especially the manager Crystal was so friendly and provided 5* service. The bed was super comfortable and the room very clean and nice. The breakfast was amazing too. We enjoyed the afternoon next to the pool with beautiful views. Great restaurants close by too

We only slept for 1 night, the views from the Elephant Room were amazing. The stuff in the breakfast area was welcoming and friendly. The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom with no individual shower. The shower head is inside the bathtub which makes it impossible for 2 to shower together, also it's a bit slippery inside the bathtub and if you're big you'll end up splattering the whole floor. Also, I'm not sure why but everytime the people in the adjacent room open the wardrobe it sounds like they are in your room.

The view was amazing! We were welcomed with open arms from the beginning. It was our first visit to Knysna and the staff made it extra special with their kindness! The breakfast was also wonderful. My kids really enjoyed it and they loved the team at Headlands House. Thank you so much!
