My and my friend booked this hotel in combination with the Eftelingpackage and tbh, just went with what was cheapest. And for that I can't exactly complain. It was clean, it's close to the park, everything you need is around the corner etc. BUT. It was weird to have no stuff in the house, as everything is operated from the hotel next to De Kroon. Also, I am not 100% convinced that your luggage is safe in the luggage room, the staff doesn't seem to check if you closed the room properly, not to mention that they didn't even check if we're actually hotel guests when we wanted to pick up our luggage. We could have been anybody. Luckily for us, we had a room for 4 people, so we had enough space for us, but the pure thought of sharing the room with more people is giving me nightmares, especially as the window is suuuper small. With 32° celsius during the day, I had extreme trouble falling asleep. The air was just horrible, with more people in our room I would have just died. I realized through the online check-out, that we got charged breakfast for both days. I admit that I could have realized that while paying, but I didn't do the math at that point, I was busy with just arriving there. Luckily I realized that early enough to make use of that, tho I advise people staying there to just get breakfast in Albert Heijn just around the corner and eat in the hotel lobby of de Kroon. The hotel breakfast was okay but a tad expensive for what you get. I would do it again as I love Efteling very much, but I know that non-Fans might have their trouble here.

When staying at the hotel we couldn’t fault it. Children stay free if sharing a room, and we had booked to visit Efteling. We didn’t realise but our stay coincided with carnival, for this reason I think we were allocated a room at the back of the hotel (as I can imagine those front facing would be very noisy - there is a huge stage directly in front of the hotel at this time, as well as many food vans and outside bars etc - not that any of this worried us). So our room was on the 5th floor at the rear with a direct view of the multi story car park! (But we didn’t book for a view!). The room was well equipped with a comfy bed and a seperate shower and toilet. Everything was very clean. The only issue I would say regarding the rooms is that they were very dark so it was hard to see your items in the wardrobe. Not a big deal! The staff on reception were really helpful and chatty, and gave us lots of advice. It’s super easy to reach Efteling from here, we walked to the coach station (just by the train station) and there were regular buses. Again children travel free. You could walk to the station in about 10-15 mins. The shopping streets are very close to the hotel, and nice for a stroll - plenty of places to eat etc. we enjoyed backwerk bakery just a couple of shops down from the hotel, they did fresh smoothies and juices and lovely fresh sandwiches. Perfect for brunch/lunch. There is a Taco Bell next to the hotel! My son wanted to try it but we didn’t get chance! The issue for us came out check out, our flight wasn’t until the evening so we asked to use the secure luggage room for our case so we could enjoy our last day. We came back to the hotel to pick up our bag, and make our way to the airport. I was let in to the luggage room to get our case, but it had gone. The staff didn’t know what to do, apart from check and speak to other staff members. Eventually I asked to see the manager as we really needed to leave (fortunately we had been sensible and kept our passports and money etc on us). And I was asking for something in writing to say they had “lost” our case - as I didn’t feel comfortable just leaving with no proof (they also wanted to take the luggage receipts - I think because they wanted to figure out what had happened). The manager was “checking the CCTV” but upon our second request did come out and see us. She did apologise for the case going missing (after a long time!! More hearing about how strange this was?!?) and said if it “wasn’t found” they would replace it. At this point I was getting concerned about travelling home without any of our things, especially with my son, for example some warmer clothes, his switch!! I felt the customer service here was lacking, there was no gesture here - could they assist us getting to the airport for example - She did offer to go to the shop but by this point we were cutting it so fine to get to the airport / which we said to her! I booked this hotel again as we’ve liked it on previous trips for the Efteling. On this occasion we found the room to be very good with comfy beds, nice bedding, clean and stylish. What I would wish for at this price is some tea and coffee making facilities. It is ridiculous to have to go to the reception and buy coffee when you’ve paid quite a lot for the hotel. In the evening we ate in the hotel as a large group made up of 3 families. The food was excellent however when we came to pay we were very surprised that we could not split the bill. The bill was €200 so obviously no one wants to pay for all of that! We wanted to make one payment per family ie 3 payments to clear the bill. The staff member said we had to make only one payment in total because we had all sat together. She was a bit rude and we all found this very odd.

We would like to thank you for the good service and friendly welcome at the reception. The rooms were top and very nice, also in your room can make coffee and tea It's a pleasure if you're gonna go early and still want to drink a coffee. Parking before the door is a pleasant experience. The drinks were well treated in the restaurant bar. Top and recommend to everyone. - Bye. - Bye.

I stayed here with my wife and adult daughter for four nights. We found it very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by woods and lakes. As well as dining in the hotel we tried several of the restaurants next door to the hotel and in Oisterwijk. There is plenty to see in the neighbourhood, such as Kasteel Nemelaer, where we enjoyed delicious hazelnut meringues or the Loonse and Drunense Duinen landscape, a large area of sand-dunes. The car park leaves a lot to be desired, but otherwise a most enjoyable break.

We spent 2 days in this top hotel last weekend. Super friendly staff all 1 for 1 topper. I had 2 rooms and I had a request upon arrival, they immediately went to see what was possible. The rooms were again super clean. The breakfast is very varied and when a fresh product is almost finished, new ones are made right away, even if you are the last to have breakfast, big names can learn something from that. We also enjoyed sitting on the terrace for a few hours. There was a nice cooling breeze in front of the hotel. And although it was quite busy with arrivals, we were wonderfully spoiled by Senna and Ralf our host and lady these days we were there. These great guys kept a close eye on us to make sure we weren't short of anything. We had a wonderful stay here again right in the center of Den Bosch. And have immediately re-booked for next year. And we will probably go again soon. PS I read in the reviews whole stories about parking that it is expensive for 1 day. But sorry you are parked in the middle of the center in a shopping street covered. That you park there is a choice. We always park at a p&r go by bus with our suitcase after the center you get out 100m from the hotel and you are parked for 4.50 per 24 hours. So you can make it as expensive as you want. We prefer to spend those 20 euros on the terrace.

Stayed at this hotel for the second time. I lived once in 2005 and basically did not change. Very close to the customer's company. The town is quiet, the room is clean and the breakfast is very good. There was a love action movie, but now it is gone.

We needed a hotel the night before our trip to Efeteling, so this ticked all the boxes, as it was an easy short drive to the Theme Park. Fletcher Hotels never disappoint when we visit The Netherlands. The hotel easily exceeded our expectations. It's in a leafy, residential street in a pretty little town. The church bells from across the street though might get on your nerves a bit if you're trying to settle down for the night. We arrived during a ”heatwave” and the lack of air conditioning in the room made for a somewhat sticky night. Parking is plentiful, either across the street or at the side of the hotel. There is a large 'Jumbo' supermarket at the end of the street (easy 10 min walk), which was a bonus so we could stock up and not be subjected to paying 'Theme Park prices' for snacks the following day! The grounds of the hotel are well kept and the hotel itself was clean, as was our room. It was nice to sit outside with some bar drinks. The bar itself was well stocked with some excellent beers at very reasonable prices. Staff are warm, welcoming and very hard working.

Convenient location, clean and spacious, cost-effective. Hotel service is also very good, that is, sound insulation is not good. There is a very good bar on the roof and the view is great. Recommended stay
