The location of the hotel is perfect . It is within walking distance from airport exit. You can wheel your luggage cart to the hotel. Checking-in hotel was fast. All hotel staffs are very efficient and helpful. Since this is our second stay in the hotel in one month, Anna offered us free upgrade room from Barony Park hotel to Grand Barony hotel. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is very comfortable. There’s shower and bath tub. Shower water pressure is pretty powerful. Breakfast has many options (Chinese breakfast and Western style). They’re all fresh cooked. Overall we are very happy with the quality of the hotel and will recommend it to anyone who visits Qingdao.

Appreciated the speedy check-in and check-out service. Room was clean with good electric outlet availability. A/C kept the room comfortable. WI-FI was excellent. Breakfast choices were ample but basic.

The capsule accommodation that I saw is a joke. Aerotel is relatively closer to the Airport Terminal than the other two (more expensive) airport hotels, shorter walking distance. Room is 18-25m² but well equipped. Great place to sleepover before my 4.25am check-in for my 7.25am flight. Strongly recommended for all sleepovers.

The odor in the room didn't feel so strong the next day, so I continued to live for another day. Disadvantage 2: There is nothing around the hotel. It is really nothing. I asked the front desk and they said there is no vending machine. The garden facilities outside the hotel are not complete and some places are still under construction. There is no place to eat and relax 3 kilometers away from the hotel. There is no scenery around. There are roads, many construction sites and unfinished buildings around. Since the room I booked does not include breakfast, and it was not given when I checked in (I asked, and the front desk told me that their breakfast costs more than 100 and cannot be given), so I have no say in the breakfast situation.

Grand Barony Qingdao Airport Hotel is grand in contemporary and modern style. Huge lobby atrium. Staff was approachable and friendly, with some English capability. Nice pool and gym facility for active people. Breakfast on 2nd floor was large selection of foods. Prime location for catching early flight. 10 - 15 mins walk from hotel lobby to the airport concourse. There is a convenience store located on the first floor. Or you can walk to the airport to buy meals or necessities. The airport is not close to a community and is somewhat isolated for walking. Overall, very pleased with the hotel and room.
