The hotel is in a fairly decent location with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Like most places in Jeddah you have to drive to them so anything beyond a block away and you’ll need an Uber. Beware that there’s two entrances, one up a ramp to the main reception area and another off a side street. The room was lovely, the shower in our room hadn’t been used for a while so it spluttered upon first use but the shower gel was lovely. Unfortunately the Cleaning staff did not replenish items such as tea or creamer after the first night meaning I didn’t get to have my morning cuppa, which for a 5* hotel you’d expect, without having to ask.

This hotel was probably great 20 years ago. Now it is an exercise in frustration. Here’s a few examples of why: 1) The basic facilities are not reliable. In the first 3 nights of staying there, I had one boiling hot shower (no cold water) and two freezing cold showers (no hot water) 2) The wifi drops out all the time and you get a 1-2MB bandwidth which is a struggle if you’re doing video calls 3) The additional amenities like gym, pool, sauna etc are a mess. The jacuzzi and sauna have been abandoned from what I could tell. The gym has no air conditioning so once I was doing any exercise I was just pouring with sweat. It must be over 30 degrees in there 4) The service level is way off. I spent 25 minutes trying to buy a coffee from the coffee bar on ground floor. Four times I asked for someone to come and help. 3 times nothing, 4th time someone came, rattled around, and walked off again 5) The food is so poor. How you get basics like burgers and salads wrong is a mystery to me 6) There has been no investment in the place and, consequently, it is just tired. Dents, scratches, tattered flooring everywhere. Its honestly a bit sad to see This is from the Meridien chain, a well renowned brand. I am amazed that they are trusting a local operator to run a facility this poorly in their name. I booked the hotel basically because I assumed it must be OK because it was a Meridien but, honestly, the place is dreadful.

It is a new hotel in a good location the front service is good but you have to find the personnel available to speak English I visit it for business in the month of Ramadan, for Westerners it is not friendly since the kitchen is closed and you can not eat anything in 14 hrs! So be prepare!! no room service! the rooms are very good in space and has a small kitchen however it does not have a single glass, dish, or kitchen items so the kitchen is totally useless, the fridge is really small and is not enough for mire than 2/3 days grossers the air conditioning only cooled the livingroom and not the bedroom, the bathroom had water leaks under the tub ... they have many areas of opportunity to improve... a little above average in prince considering the things mentioned

The room is large, with floor-to-ceiling windows that can see the temple, swimming pool, and gym. The clerk is very enthusiastic and helps with taxis, invoices, and travel suggestions. All in all, it is a very good hotel. If I have the chance to go there next time, I will choose it again

The service, calmness & cleanliness were great! Check in was quick. We had a nice stay 👍 I recommend this hotel for anyone who’s looking to have some quite time alone or with family & friends. Just the construction work outside of the hotel made it difficult to find the entrance.

The room was very cost-effective. I just met the boss on the day of check-in. The boss was very good. I booked a total of 3 rooms. Two of them were replaced with family suites. The price did not increase. The same price for continued stay. I will book this hotel next time I go to Jeddah.
