"The hotel front desk are friendly and easy to communicate with English. The room is spaces and my room's window view is Otaru Canal. Very beautiful winter view. The hotel located about 15 minutes walking distance to The Otaru Steam Clock location and about or less than 10 minutes from the JR station. The check in time is 3pm but we reached before that the hotel also let us check in earlier. Overall I am happy with this hotel."

"Wonderful winter stay in Otaru in a traditional Japanese tatami mat room. It was a fantastic cultural experience and very comfortable, especially during the colder weather. The hotel is in a perfect location near the canal and transport links, making sightseeing easy. The Japanese breakfast selection was excellent, though western options were limited. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the TV feature showing onsen occupancy was a great touch. Overall, a memorable and authentic stay."

"Sempre nos hospedávamos neste hotel quando visitávamos Otaru, pois adorávamos o quarto amplo e espaçoso e as ótimas comodidades (adoramos o kit de higiene pessoal e a máquina Nespresso). Ele faz parte do enorme shopping center Wingbay e o supermercado pode ser acessado internamente pelo lobby do hotel até a meia-noite, o que apreciamos especialmente durante o inverno. O quarto com vista para a montanha também oferece uma vista linda no inverno."

"It’s around 13 minutes walk from JR Otaru Station, if you have luggage, just get a taxi to go there, only take around 5 minutes. This hotel is just too cute, a vintage vibe, lovely welcome drinks in classical lobby. My room is for single person, small but it’s fine. Japanese breakfast is amazing. You can have a canal view while you’re having breakfast. They provide free onsen or paid private onsen (2500 yen for 50 minutes). It’s a good stay."

"- A very beautiful hotel and room. From check in to check out, everything was top notch, and I would give it a solid 5 out of 5. - The staffs were very helpful during the check in process, making it fast and simple. The room was fabulous and truly worth the money. Very clean, pleasantly scented, and looking new and well maintained. - Breakfast was simple yet very filling, with many items provided. It was the same on the second day, but that was not an issue. The chef and staff prepared the meal fresh and served it to our table, and enjoying breakfast with such a beautiful view made the experience even more special. - The check-out process was also quick and hassle free. After check out, they even took care of my luggage safely while I went on a short trip to Asahi and returned later to collect it. The hotel is not too far from Otaru Station. Just a straight walk down the road."

"The hotel is in a good Location near the chanel. Very nice beer brewery with a big variety of beer is just across the Chanel . Fish market and train station in 10 minutes by steps. There is the perfect big onsen on the top with great view on the sea. All three days I visited it I was alone. Breakfast was ok, but not as gorgeous as I expected. The room was clean and quite big. The furniture is a little old but in good condition."

"My first visit to Otaru was truly unforgettable, all thanks to my experience at this wonderful hotel! Located just a pleasant 20-minute drive from Otaru Station, the hotel is nestled in a tranquil, private area that feels like stepping into a captivating wonderland. I was delighted to discover a bus stop right across from the hotel, making it effortlessly convenient to explore the surroundings. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly by name, and they were incredibly helpful with our luggage. Taking off our shoes upon entering the hotel created a feeling of comfort and cleanliness that made us feel right at home. After a smooth check-in process, during which they confirmed our breakfast time, the staff graciously guided us through the hotel, sharing helpful information about opening hours for various amenities. Our room was beautifully adorned in traditional Japanese style, complete with an open-air bath. Enjoying this serene experience during the winter was simply magical! We also savored a delectable Kaiseki dinner in our room, which was not only a feast for our taste buds but also left us delightfully satisfied. The onsens were a real highlight, featuring an adjacent sauna. With daily alternating access for women and men every other day, we were able to enjoy both during our stay. Families will find this hotel exceptionally accommodating, thanks to its variety of playrooms and relaxation spaces catering to guests of all ages. Plus, the complimentary refreshments and bar in the lobby until 10 PM added a lovely touch to our experience. Breakfast was a true delight, with a peaceful view of the snow outside the restaurant, enhancing the serene atmosphere. On our departure day, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a shuttle bus to take us to the JR station, making our exit seamless and convenient. Looking back, our only regret is that we stayed just one night—I can't wait to return and immerse myself in a different season's beauty. This hotel is now firmly on my list for future visits, and I’m already looking forward to the next adventure!"
