Very nice hostel, great owner and staff, kind and very helpful. Have the cheapest and best tour for mount bromo and waterfalls in town. Powerful AC in the rooms, clean and nice hot showers. Washing machine and chill spot on the roof. I highly recommend staying at least 2 nights. Great free tour we got of the local chinese temple. Locatio close to the color villages. Had a very good time there. Nice night market in front of the place. Photo of the rooftop view.

Belo albergue em uma área agradável, tranquila, ao mesmo tempo localizado estratégicamente barato. Para isso, camas muito confortáveis. Em particular, é o pessoal extremamente esforçado e amigável, que cria uma atmosfera de bem-estar absoluto.

The location is just off the main street running through Malang, makes the hotel less affected by traffic noise. One of the minor drawbacks of this hotel is the lobby drop off area and minimal availability of parking onsite. The friendliness and helpful customer service can be felt as you step into the hotel, from the security to the receptionist and workers all radiating warm smiles. Our check in process was smooth, we were assisted to find an available room for early check-in before 1pm . The restaurant staff was also attentive and courteous. The hotel felt relatively new, only a couple years old and in great shape. The bedroom had semi firm but comfortable mattrass, with abundant pillows. Delightfully we got a 55” LG Smart Tv, with the to-date streaming services available (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Vidio, Youtube) and also cable tv showing international channels (AXN, Japanese, Arabic, etc). The room felt very cosy for resting after a long day's work or travel. The bathroom, although only had showers and no bathtub, gave great water pressure and hot water. The only complaint from the hotel is perhaps due to the connecting door, we can hear the other room's door closing and opening loudly as well as some talking from the other room. Hotel had an interesting gym for good workout, rooftop cafe/restaurant. Didnt try any of those facilities for this trip but hopefully for my next trip. This is my second stay at 101 and look forward to returning again. Also, right across the hotel is a Sara Bakery, which serves good cakes and bakery products, and has a full restaurant menu also.

I booked Hotel Tugu Malang for my friends as a surprise honeymoon gift, and they absolutely loved it! From the moment they arrived, they were impressed by the beautiful setting and warm hospitality. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The furniture is good quality but not very comfortable and sheets do not fit the mattress. The WiFi is useless - I mostly had to use mobile data instead and switch off WiFi. It was a disconcerting that every room-cleaning resulted in setting the AC to 15 degrees. Breakfast can only be purchased for two people , not for singles.

Pelayanannya bagus, ga ada jam malam dan dikasih kunci buat masuknya. Air hangat nyala dapet handuk, sabun shampo tersedia dikasih selimut juga. Overall bagus disini meskipun lumayan jauh mau kemana mana

The room is fine but it doesn’t look very clean, they should put more effort into cleaning the sheets and the pillow cases, besides that, everything was great. Great location, great services, and great food.
