Insanely well priced gorgeously flawless hotel with lovely food and free upgrades if you're lucky! I can't say anything bad about this hotel. It's perfect and suitable for its function. Will be staying again

The hotel's location is conveniently close to Benh Thanh market, allowing for easy exploration on foot, though taxis are available for those who prefer it. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and charming. This establishment stands out as a fantastic choice, providing excellent value for the money spent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would unquestionably return and recommend it to others. One minor drawback is the thin walls, which allow some noise from outside to be audible in the rooms. Nevertheless, this is a small inconvenience compared to the overall cleanliness and comfort experienced during my stay.

We stayed two nights here in a triple room. The hotel has an elevator. The room was amazing. The bathroom had massage buttons and looked much more complicated than the actual operating. breakfast is on the top floor and has a good choice from fruit to heated food.the hotel is located in the city center and is 300 meters away from the market.there are bars and convenience stores near the hotel. We were really happy with it and plan to stay there when we return to Ho Chi town minutes.

Well to be honest this is a nice hotel in need of some quality finishing touches, When I arrived I was well early, so they moved things around found another room and all sorted, The staff in the 2 days I’ve been here have been amazing, they just can not do enough to help you, the young lady on reception calls me by my first name every time she sees me, The rooms are comfortable and just right for solo or couple with not too much luggage, shower and tap water is good and hot, no issues . Only 2 little grips, firstly the breakfast is, let’s just say ok but needs more variety, 2nd the coffee is ###p just couldn’t touch it, sorry, 1 last observation is the lift is very slow, but I ain’t come all this way to ride in elevators, Oh 1 last thing the forgot to mention, Free minibar, Cool

We stayed here 2N at the start & 2N at the end of our 12D tour. Each time the hotel bellhop was ready to assist us. Cannot say the same for the Reception staff. The 2nd time we were even given a room that we could not even lock and after waiting for some time and still not allocated a new room, we insisted that we be given one asap and they had no choice but to upgrade us. No tourist information was also given and when we asked for a map, they flipped through files and then said that there was none left. Surely, they could photocopy one from their file. We then asked directions to the river and all they told us was that it was too far to walk. We told them we had looked it up before we came to Vietnam and it was within walking distance. It is less than 2km away. The good points of the hotel is that it is very conveniently located opposite Ben Thanh Market and within walking distance to the river, Saigon Opera House and the Saigon Centre/Takashimaya where there were plenty of food choices. The buffet breakfast is also good enough with both Western (scrambled eggs/sausages/ham/salad/plain pastries) and Asian (congee/soup/rice with veg/fish/meat), a fruit juice/tea/coffee/fruits/yoghurt. Just be warned that the hotel's entry is via a flight of stairs. Hence, not suitable for those requiring wheelchair access or the very elderly.

Stayed here for NY countdown. The location is central, at the District 1 ”Japanese Street”. Bustling and convenient area. When not enjoying their nice breakfast, there are plenty of eateries nearby. The rooftop bar and pool was good for viewing new year fireworks too. However, a few setbacks deducted quite a few points. 1) faulty elevator at times (had to take the stairs sometimes, and be careful at the stairs as its ceiling is really low, my friend hit his head once) 2) hammering and drilling in nearby room or building at early hours (good thing is they let you switch room when dissatisfied) 3) first room had a weird smell (older room with Jacuzzi tub). The final room we got smelled nice (newer room with standard bathtub), but TV remote control and bathtub stopper were missing, had to ask for it 4) the final flaw that made my female friends very uncomfortable, was the clientele - many middle-aged men sitting or waiting around lobby area, ogling girls who walked by. Sometimes it's a group of men, sometimes they're paired with a local lady. Other things to note: - upon check-in, they will request to keep your passport throughout your stay. We were not going to do that, so we gave them VND500000 as deposit (which you'll get back when you check out) - the toilet and shower/bath area are separate, however the walls and doors were made of frosted glass, rather see-through, might be awkward for some if you're not a couple

Just finished a 5-night stay at Icon 36 and I have nothing but good things to say. Considering the reasonable price, the room was comfortable and more than adequate, but the main draw was the service...every little thing I needed, whether it was laundry, a SIM card, tourism recommendations, they were completely helpful and on point. Run by genuinely friendly people...highly recommend!

The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. If you need to stay a night nearby the airport on a budget, it's ok. But no longer. Check beforehand if there's a window in a room otherwise it feels uncomfortable (like sleeping in a closet). The staff is friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is old and worn out.

Alway come back when I am in hcm 👍 I will be back this coming august again and book 14 nights in advance already.

Great value. In a street that runs into the market, the hotel has the traditional Asian size rooms but has been modern lay appointed and well designed. We booked a room with a balcony which had lots of natural light. Nice modern bathroom and good beds. Surprisingly we found the shopping in the actual small street better than the market for shoes, coats, bags etc. would definitely stay here next time as the position is brilliant. Oh and the 5 star shopping mall is 5 min walk away
