Harbin Central Street Habsburg Hotel (Sofia Church)

Great hotel, it is across from sun island and the way across it around the corner. It was one of the breakfasts I have had as well!

The Habsburg hotel in Harbin was an amazing experience from the time you arrive till the time you leave. The hotel has a European theme to it as soon as you walk in. The staff at the front desk are friendly always greeting you as you walk in and out. Most of the staff speak English and are accommodating to locals as well as foreigners. The room was immaculate and spacious, the beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was that the room was too hot and trying to adjust the temperature on the AC wasn’t working so we had to sleep with the windows opened the entire night. Other than that, on the first day of arrival they had complimentary snacks as well as vouchers to enjoy the full experience of a Russian high tea as well as a cocktail in the evening at the bar. This hotel met all the expectations and is an affordable hotel to stay at in Harbin. The location was perfect it was situated near the Songhua river cable car, Zhongyang street where you can enjoy local street food and near St Sophia cathedral. We also enjoyed lunch and breakfast at the hotel and the service was amazing the manager Jenny was welcoming, friendly and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and served us well. Habsburg hotel is definitely a hotel I would recommend staying at when visiting Harbin.

Great experience at this hotel. Staffs are always welcoming. Room is comfortable and has good ambience. Bathroom is nice. Shower pressure is strong. Breakfast has a great variety and quite tasty. Staffs in breakfast hall are very attentive, especially Ms. Air who has a very friendly personality and strong commitment. Location is good, walkable to various attractions and venues. Some very good restaurants are close-by. Morning market is not far from the hotel.

The service of the staff at this hotel is very good. Staff are humble but receptionists can’t speak English. Only one guy whom I guess he is a front office manager, could speak some English. Also breakfast at this hotel is superb! It’s full of varieties of food but mostly Chinese food, not Western food. It’s really impressive for me to have breakfast here. There’s also big shrimps in the buffet line. I have never seen this option from other hotels. The room itself is also spacious. Location of this hotel is perfect, quite close to all main tourist attractions.

”百年钢琴”was very friendly and helpful to help us with the check in and luggage’s. We stayed here for two nights and love the breakfast here with more than 100 varieties “江景展厅” always make sure we have our hot desserts, fruits and coffee. We feel like home here. A wet and dry Laundry room is helpful when we travel, and distilled water is always available in gym, laundry room and hotel Room. Cute little robot is always doing Ultra violet light cleaning airborne virus, and nice live singing at the hotel lounge. This is definitely my choice of hotel that why we chose to come back again after we went to snow village for a two day one night trip

Pretty hotel lobby but the rooms are dated and a little worn out in its furnishings. But cleanliness and amenities are there so I have absolutely no issue with the dated look. My husband and I were given a room that is large and came with 2 toilets. Its an unusual size so I think the extra toilet is really just bonus. My room doesn't face the Songhua River, would be lovely to wake up to that sight I'm sure. Tried the hotel breakfast on my last morning there, paid 68 yuan per pax, super sumptuous! Didn't have space for everything, would have love to! Hotel location is opposite the Songhua River, about 10 mins walk to the cable car tower to Sun Island. Had lots of fun on that. 15 mins walks to Central Street and additional 5 min more St Sofia Church. Very nice church building to admire, paid to enter but the inside is absolutely bare and in washed out condition. Plenty of food options, really enjoyable.
