Positives - Clean, decently appointed VFM accommodation right in the heart of the city. - Friendly & courteous staff members especially Ms Dung at reception & breakfast service plus kitchen staff. - Decent breakfast options for the price charged & good service. - Housekeeping service was efficient and clean for all the 3 nights we stayed there. - Good wifi & amenities. - Help always offered at reception if assistance is asked for. - Walking distance to convenience stores and local restaurants. Unlike the much hyped but unclean & very loud old quarters area this is much much better (personal preference). - Good cancellation policies for last minute booking amendments not too fussy or late cancellation charges. Negatives - For late night arrivals entrance to the hotel can be a bit confusing as it shares the same lobby as the highlands coffee next door. - They have missed the trick by not offering a balcony although their r windows but for a claustrophobic person this can get a bit stressy although not that bad as the windows open wide, my room was very well ventilated, view outside on the higher floors was decent for the city. Overall considering Hanoi & price charged this is a good option to consider if your looking for a clean, hygienic, good location & decent breakfast. Staff are understanding & do not rush you for anything which is a good thing. Most of them speak atleast basic English so communication is not stressed for their is not miscommunication.

All rooms are very large, comfortable and especially have a very large king bed! Staff very friendly and enthusiastic. When you arrive at the hotel, there is a security guard to assist you with parking, bring your luggage to your room while you check in. The room is equipped with air conditioning and fan, when checking in is finished to go to the room, everything is ready for guests. Very satisfied with the attentiveness of the hotel and staff

Stayed many times, very satisfied! Breakfast is good, the restaurant is on the top floor, you can see the panoramic view of Hanoi, mostly Japanese and Korean, clean and tidy, there is a small supermarket next to the hotel, there is a large shopping center 5 minutes walk!

We stayed for 5 days starting from June 3 - June 7. The hotel is well located within the city and the services provided are excellent. The staff are polite, respectful and helpful. We stayed as part of our leisure trip; however the hotel is comfortable stay for business trip as well as the services provided are to the point. The breakfast buffet is excellent and has Continental, Vietnamese, Japanese and Korean in the spread (Even though we are Indians, we prefer to try the local cuisine and continental when staying overseas. So the food was extremely agreeable for us --- however, if you prefer Indian food, they don't provide that in the buffet spread or menu). Also the food we tried by using the all-day in-room dining services were also good. We tried the cheese cake as we had read great online reviews about it while opting to stay at this hotel and it lived upto our expectations. The spa services provided were also excellent and refreshing. They offer currency exchange services at the reception itself, so you don't have to go to bank or money exchange services for converting USD to VND. The room we stayed in was 825 in the non-smoking floor. It offers city view and is clean and hygienic. The washroom is equipped with automatic bidet toilet; and provides hair dryer and other standard toiletries. The housekeeping is done well. To sum up, it was a pleasant stay for us here and would recommend for this hotel to our acquaintances.

This hotel was excellent. I can't say enough about the staff, they bent over backwards to help us when our flight got cancelled. Food was great and Managers were excellent. Plan on a trip back to this place. They acted as if they were our family. Love this experience!!!!!

An exceptional experience. The hotel is not only clean and has quality facilities, but the staff is what truly sets it apart. Ms. Nhi at reception and Mr. Dai, the bellman, went above and beyond to make sure I had absolutely everything I needed. Even a stomach ache caused by my ignorance in and out in the city was cared for. Thank you so much. You made my Vietnam an exceptional one❣️

Hotel is quite new, quite clean. There are a few issues. When I just check in hotel manager told me to pay extra 100,000 VND, I ask why. She said there was a glitch on computer and the price listed was mistake, should be higher. I said if the price listed was wrong it was their problems because I had already paid, besides other hotels booking apps also showed the same price. She said you can check in now, but when come back at 2 pm when room was ready then pay extra. I said no. You have to deal with hotel booking app agency, not me. 2nd problems, as almost all hotels in Vietnam have, fake and .is leading photos, showing rooms have windows , but not quite real windows. At night when light turn off, can not see a thing and is in completely darkness can not even see your own fingers in front. Breakfast is too simple. I asked to change room with window like what show on web site, I was told not available any more, but on web site it shows still available. Manager, then show me the room in front which has real window, and asked for $1,800,000 VND/ night pay directly to hotel. What a big joke. He then show me his other hotel opposite at over prices rates too for poor conditions hotel.

The Emerald Hotel is in the downtown area and the surrounding area is quite lively. The breakfast is very good, especially the broth beef rice noodles, which are more distinctive. This hotel cannot accommodate an extra bed. The service is very good, the young girl at the front desk is friendly.

This place in Vietnam is really too hot, I saw several hotels, and the air conditioning effect is the best, and I stayed without hesitation. The boss Anna is very good, and he will also have a little Chinese, and communication is barrier-free. On the first day, I decided to live in and taught us how to play cheap. It is said that the Vietnamese will pit people, my friends and I have been afraid to play all by walking, learned to play crazy after learning. Breakfast buffet, there are changes every day. Individuals are not used to Vietnamese food, feel a bit strange, but breakfast is not Vietnamese, satisfied! The family room is quite big, very comfortable, we didn't even go out one day in the middle... We had to go out on the day of check-out, just put the luggage in the hotel lobby, the boss also readily agreed, people are really nice. Vietnamese Korean style also has a Vietnamese flavor, unlike the domestic, cherish the hotel breakfast!

Except that the location is a little bit off, I think this is a relatively cost-effective hotel in Hanoi. The rooms are big, the beds are clean, the mattresses are comfortable, etc. Many tour groups live here, and you may feel a bit crowded when having breakfast.
