The staff are super nice. Our room is equipped with private outdoor onsen bathtub with a good courtyard view. The public outdoor onsen is also good!
The Japanese dinner set included was well prepared and we enjoyed so much.
There's an outdoor spot exclusively set for customers to take photos. Impressed!

Great peaceful retreat in the mountains. Note the 2 onsens rotate outdoor settings from the modern infinity pool to the traditional outdoor next to the waterfall. As a mountain retreat not access off the resort is time-consuming. Food is nice but pricey.

A new hotel in Hakone. Onsen is great. The environment is magnificent. Food for dinner is delicious. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which is quite convenient. Would recommend !

We were greeted by hotel staff upon arrival. We were not given the option to select dinner time, which was set at 8pm which was late when compared with counterparts. We were only given the option to change to 5pm on the subsequent night, which was not convenient for us. The arrangement for who gets to be seated with the forest view or not is unknown and strange. On the first night we were seated at a room without a view, which was stuffy and adjacent tables full of uncleared dishes which give rise to an unpleasant odour. The other customers sitting in the room was served food all at once encompassing shabu shabu, while sashimi bowl was offered as a buffet. We were offered a forest view on the second night. Food was served according to courses, which was average and sashimi offered was similar to what was offered in the buffet though in large pieces. Breakfast was better with Japanese and western foods available. Rooms and onsens were nice. Recommend only choose the room only option as food was really not up to standard when compared to other Japanese counterparts.

The Japanese style room is so spacious and user-friendly. Looking out from the room, the treeline is so Zen. You can get free ice creams from the lobby, as well as tea, beer and coffee. Excellent services.

Nice hotel with great breakfast provided. Onsen was good and there was also foot baths provided at hotel lobby. Shuttle bus provided as well

Very satisfying with lots of freebies ( free ice-cream from 2pm to 11pm to choose from, free coffee n GREAT ENVIRONMENT. It is MOST recommended Onsen Hotel.

Impressed by the infinity pool design of outdoor onsen on 6/F. Can watch sunrise with stunning view. Need to confirm if can go in for the morning during your stay as they switch gender for every day. It’s not a problem if you are staying for two nights.
Food is nice and breakfast buffet has wide variety of dishes. Free shuttle bus is available to Garo station every 30mins.
