It was a very nice hotel, but for my feeling breakfast was terrible. The first day breakfast okay, there was not much choice but still it was good. But the rest of the days it was bad. They have taken away all the sweet breads and the orange juice wax tasting strange. Dinner was very good. And the hotel room was pretty average. The parents sleep on the big bed and the kid sleeps on the couch bed. The couch bed was very small and the 12 year old kid had problems with sleeping there because the kid was too tall. The bathroom was good for my feeling it felt empty. But it was clean.the shower was good but I will advise to put a sweeper there to sweep the floor because after every shower the floor was very wet. The roomservice was excellent and everyone was very friendly. I will advise this if you want a hotel with breakfast for a nice price nearby Legoland Billund.

We sleeped five nights in a camping tent with us four, the tents were spacious, there was a seat corner and a refrigerator, and despite the rain, everything remained waterproof. We had some difficulty to dry clothes, but there was a washing rack present at the common spaces. The kitchen was equipped with all the facilities, different oven, croque monsieur machine, vacuum washing machine, .. as well as all material was present (washing tablets, towels, soap, ...) There is a washing machine to make free use. There are a lot of playing opportunities for children, both inside and outside. The outdoor toys were a lot of stuff. For example, all bikes had flat tyres, ... There were goats and rabbits. The children had fun time. We had no car, so we had been designated to the bus. The bus to Billund goes every 1 h to 2 h (notably in the weekend there are fewer buses). The bus stop was about 1 km walking, as well as the nearest supermarket. A car is more handy if you stay here. The host was very friendly and always accessible by questions, but we feel like comparing prizes from other people who stayed here that we paid too much, to avoid this book you better directly with the owners.

A cozy small guesthouse with fun cabins. For our 2 nights everything was there and we felt very well. Our cabin was well heated and absolutely clean. The small bathroom is functional and the shower is good. There is a refrigerator and a water cooker. On the fourth, it is clearly finished, but it is completely enough for 2 nights. We also ordered breakfast buffet, which was possible for little money. Breakfast was very good and rich. Coffee, tea and juice were included. Our stay in Hodde Kro was very beautiful. My husband and I booked a room for us and another room for my niece and her family. We got the garden rooms and the place was absolutely family friendly. My grandnieces and grandnephew enjoyed the playground as well as the kids pool. We reserved our first night dinner at the Leaf restaurant and let me tell you “THE FOOD WAS SUMPTUOUS.” Breakfast was included, the food choices were plentiful, coffee, juices, fruits, cereal, cheese, bacon, ham, eggs, pastries, cakes, bread, even have swirl ice cream for kids. My niece who lives in Copenhagan will probably go back to this place as they usually bring the kids to Legoland for summer vacation. My husband and I will definitely go back, whenever we visit Europe again, God willing.

Nice small hotel, friendly staff, exceptionally clean, good breakfast, parking not a problem, would not hesitate to stay again. Had a good nights sleep. Nothing to complain about here, 5 stars all the way.

We stayed in the pirate room, the room has been updated in terms of bedding and carpet but the furniture, bathroom, and lighting are very old. There's no plugs in good places and the bathroom is terribly lit and with a shower curtain. Very limited toiletries. IF you are family of 3 or 4, there are bunk beds that pull down from the wall making the room the size of a shoebox. We were there with 2 and it was ok but with 4 it would have been extremely small with no where for luggage. Definitely do not recommend this room for a family. The hotel is expensive because it is Legoland, I wish there were better options in the area. The restaurant was a zoo at breakfast, little kids running everywhere, unsupervised at the breakfast bar. A coffee machine was broken so you had to queue for coffee and the food was not refilled fast enough. Scrambled eggs are out of a box. The pancakes were good and yogurt options reasonable. Fruit selection limited. We did not come here for dinner, reviews were bad and after the zoo at breakfast we were not coming back for dinner. Also the lounge had very dirty sofas. This is a great hotel for young children, my son is 10 and there was not much to offer for him. So it was not worth the money but you have very very few options in Billund and if you don't have a car, this is most convenient place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and traveled there for a business purpose. I was given a room on the upper floor and it was really hard for me to carry up my luggage cause there was no elevator. The room and bathroom were clean although a little old. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. There was no safe and refrigerator in the room, but an electric kettle and a hairdryer were available. Iron and iron table were available upon request. My room faced the back yard having a pleasant view and silence. The breakfast was good and of a wide variety. The wifi did not work well.

Location: The location is very good, close to parks and supermarkets. The hotel is close to public transportation, which makes it easy to get around the city. Additionally, you can walk but it is not a good idea to do with very young kids walking. Infrastructure: There are two buildings with two themes (wizard and warrior) but only the warrior unit offers a reception and restaurant, which was disappointing and made us request a room change to the other building. It has an elevator and stairs with good accessibility for people with reduced mobility. Service: The staff was very helpful and friendly. In general, the employees were polite and welcoming. Room: The rooms were clean and the cleaning routine was also carried out without problems. However, the bathrooms did not have the kits commonly found in hotels, such as shampoo, conditioner, shower caps, and other items, limited to toilet paper, hand soap, and body wash. Breakfast: The meals had regular options of fruits, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, and proteins. Juices, milk, teas, and coffees were also available. Overall, they tasted good and the environment was clean and organized. Cost-benefit: Overall, we considered the stay to be good value for money if we don't consider the need to eat at the hotel other than the included breakfast, as the dinner was not worth the price and was very disappointing.
