Cotford Hotel

From the moment we arrived we were treated to an efficient and friendly service which continued throughout the evening. The food was beautifully presented, and tasted every bit as good as it looked. Before arrival we thought the prices seemed relatively expensive. By the end of the evening we realised a meal at the Cotford Hotel represented wonderful value. We look forward to returning at the earliest opportunity.

We stayed for 2 nights after our original accommodation feel through. So delighted to have found this gem of a hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly without being over the top. The hotel is elegant and looks fantastic inside and out. The room we had was large, spacious and had everything you would need. The bed was one of the largest we have seen. It almost had it's own postcode. We had a couple of drinks in the bar area which was nice and relaxed. Breakfast on both days was superb - all local ingredients - sausages and bacon from a local butcher were fantastic - sausage meaty/tasty with no fat and the bacon was thick and tasty. They know how to cook breakfast. Always plenty of staff on hand to serve food and drinks. Special mention to Barbara for her care and to Rupert who brightened up our evening when we were feeling a little bit down. Thanks to all

We had the pleasure of dining at the Cotford Hotel for a delightful meal. It was a fantastic experience as my partner and I took my mum and stepdad out to celebrate his 80th birthday. From the start, we enjoyed truffle popcorn and olives in the lounge with Prosecco. Moving to the formal dining room, the mushroom and truffle soup appetizer was exquisite. For starters, my parents had tiger prawns, while I enjoyed a delicious chicken liver pâté. The main course was the highlight, with each dish receiving rave reviews from our picky group. I had the divine lamb, my parents loved the sole fish, and my partner's chicken was tender and flavorful. This was paired with a robust Australian red wine, reflecting our group's patriotism. For dessert, my parents opted for a sampler featuring around seven exceptional items. My partner and I chose the cheese taster, admiring the fine selection of cheeses and homemade chutney. We finished with coffee in the lounge, where the host treated us to a selection of fine chocolates, macarons, and fudge. Highly recommended, we'll undoubtedly return. For a special occasion, this place is worth the visit. Having been to other Michelin-starred restaurants, I found this one unpretentious, serving beautifully arranged food that tastes as good as it looks—truly exceptional.

The best experience of our trip . From the start when we met Chris Morgan owner/chef , a delightful, friendly host (we want you back in Wales) to meeting his wife Barbara and Ellie and Hollie staff , friendly helpful and fun, to the gastronomic event to follow . Seriously the food was exceptional from the delightful presentation to the delicious food it was an absolute pleasure. Cannot wait to dine here again and hopefully join them for Christmas . What a wonderful little hotel! I brought my 90 year old mother to visit family in Malvern and we were made to feel so welcome. The owners Barbara and Chris have got everything right: delightful rooms with great attention to detail, lovely lounge and a funky bar, a delicious meal and utterly charming staff. We will definitely be back.

A warm welcome awaited us on arrival to this lovely hotel, despite arriving much earlier than the stated check in time. Everywhere was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Our garden room was a good size and had patio doors out to the garden with table and chairs. It was also well equipped with toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits. The owner/chef Chris and his wife Barbara run a tight ship with a very professional and helpful team of helpers. The food was amazing. We enjoyed two 2 course dinners as part of the deal. On both evenings the food was exceptional, all freshly cooked and beautifully presented. The desserts were to die for. Breakfast was again very good with plenty of choice available to suit all tastes and appetites. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed at the Cotford Hotel for one night, and received a lovely warm welcome. We were able to upgrade to the four poster room, which was absolutely perfect. We had dinner in the restaurant, with a beautiful view of the gardens. The service was fantastic and the food was absolutely incredible! Chris and Barbara are wonderful hosts and do everything they can to make sure you have a wonderful time. The location was perfect for a walk Malvern hills the next day. We will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

My friend and I spent two nights here after attending the Malvern Garden show - what a beautiful old hotel ! A peaceful haven in a tranquil garden that was the perfect foil to the hustle and bustle of the busy day. Barbara, our hostess, was welcoming and Ellie & Hollie outstanding in their customer care. Chris, who created the most spectacular food, was kind enough to cater for my dietary requirements in a way that did not make it obvious to others. The gardner and housekeeping were engaging and amenable also to ensure a perfect stay. We enjoyed ourselves so much and cannot praise this team enough - it’s a 10 from us !!! We’d love to go again - hopefully next year !!!

A friend who lives locally recommended the Cotford Hotel to our group for a school reunion. So, 10 of us (all now in our 60s) booked an overnight stay and dinner in L'Amuse Bouche restaurant. The service and assistance we received from initial booking right through to check out was excellent. Rooms are comfy and beautifully appointed, as are the Piano Lounge and Bar, and of course the restaurant itself. Our dinner was fabulous: real fine dining which looked and tasted fantastic.
