The best property in gangtok, service 10/10, food 10/10. Highly recommended.

It was an ok experience. The hotel is a little run down in parts. Service at the dinner rooms were not always the best. The staff are not really bothered and would not give the menu quickly for instance. The room was nice but again it was not in the main block.. there was something missing in the hotels experience. The free evening tea and snack was awful. Yea was made terribly and the snack was tasteless. There are better evening tea service in places with yum snacks. This was plain simple boring and stingy at giving good food. Personally I would not stay here again.

Staying at Mayfair was the worst decision we made. We are travelling with a 2 year old kid and checked in expecting a great experience. However Mr Prashant at the check in counter made sure our experience was nothing less than pathetic right at the start of the stay. He gave us an ‘upgraded room’ which had a lot of construction noise. We requested for another room. He did not acknowledge that there is a problem and was outright rude and non cooperative. This happened on 2 occasions on 2 consecutive days. Because we are with a small kid, we requested for a room closer to the courtyard so that she doesn’t have to walk too much. Forget helping, he made sure to spoil our mood even further by his behaviour. The kids room is a sorry excuse with no toys and a broken tent and car with dirty soft toys. There is urine smell and stains all over the mat. Upon asking the staff, they said if they clean they will have to shut down the kids room for 3 days! The only saving grace is the restaurant staff who is courteous. Please stay away from Mayfair and rather have a pleasant stay elsewhere!

Beautiful place, caring staff( Mar CG, Mr Prashanth, Rashi and kakuli) amazing food and wonderful stay. The place is clean, exquisite location and worth every penny. We had children with us and they really took care of us. From the front desk, someone always call and checkup on us. Such a wonderful stay ***** with fond memories we will carry from this place. Thanks Mayfair Gangtok for making our stay a memorable one.

The experience at Mayfair, Gangtok was excellent. The staff was very courteous and helpful especially Arup, Sheetal and Renuka who attended to each of the needs with care at the Orchid restaurant and made you feel at home.The SPA is being renovated but they have shifted to a different location within the property. I got a Balinese massage from Babita who provided one of the best massages I had and got rid of my shoulder pain. The staff at the front desk is very helpful and go out of the way to help you with your needs. I will definitely plan to stay here again when I am back in Gangtok.

Beautiful place tucked into Sikkim mountains. Our accommodations were in bamboo villas which I highly recommend. The staff were very curtious, respectful and thoughtful. Specifically Pranab, Abhijit, Gobardhan, Renuka, Sheetal and manger Suresh. We enjoyed our stay here and had an opportunity to attend the evening Aarti at the Shiva temple (replica of Pasupatinath) on the property. Very serene atmosphere.

Perfect resort by all means ,gorgeous palatial property filled lots of art n warm lounges, not the least impeccable food n spa services, special mention dk dippi, swastika, sheeta, renuka, mr Som , ishwari............ .................

Tucked in a quiet corner near Gangtok, Mayfair is worth every penny for a comfortable stay. Great ambiance and wonderful delectable spread made our stay even more enjoyable. The front desk staff and Chef Anand ***** with the dining attendants Renuka, Subham and others made sure we had a great time. Hospitality was amazing. Will highly recommend this place to all.

Ms Rashi, Ishwari,Kakoli and Mr Prasant had gave us a good service during the stay in this hotel. We stayed in Mayfair Siliguri and Darjeeling and It is just like them. The food was delicious too and we also played table tennis and billiards and the room was luxurious and clean
