Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner) The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that. In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that. The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too. The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot. There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road. I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk. And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much. I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice

Checked in at 9:30, before the National Day. I wanted to arrive before the crowds arrived, but it rained a little, from check-in to check-out. Fortunately, the resort itself has a beautiful environment and many supporting activities so it is not boring. Manager Liu was enthusiastic to receive us, explained the rights and precautions very carefully, comprehensively and professionally, and handled the consultations in a timely manner. The hotel is very clean and hygienic, and the gym has a table tennis room and a cricket room, which is very interesting! The breakfast is rich and the front desk staff are also very polite. Very cost-effective! The first choice for vacation.

most affordable option within the entire ski resort, located at the end of the resort but the resort isn't very big so walking a few mins more is perfectly fine. Very nice and comfortable, ski passes for each night of stay, access to the hotel's own hot spring (i believe it is the only hotel in the resort with this), buffet breakfasts, and free airport pick-up/drop-offs make this hotel a very good value stay!
