This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

I like old fashion hotels, but this one just feels old. Room was extremely basic, restroom ugly, and pillows uncomfortable. Japanese breakfast was elegant but hard to digests. The buffet breakfast had some options, but still limited. But the worst part is that you need to pay extra usd 22 to use a small gym! I wish I knew earlier… I won’t stay here again. Location is convenient though just walking distance from the station.

ニューオタニブランドなので、それなりの期待をしていましたが、残念ながら打ち砕かれました。 ビジネス利用で朝食付きツインタイプに1人で宿泊。 部屋の広さは十分で清潔感はあり、アメニティも充実していました。古さは否めない感じですが、水回りやクローゼット等一部はリニューアルされており、空調も不快さはなく良かったです。 しかし、ベッドのマットレスは安めのモノでしょうか、寝心地は良くありません。周辺にある新しいビジネスホテルの方がよっぽどこだわりのある高品質モノが多いと感じました。 その点については、大きく期待を裏切られてしまいました。 洋食バイキングの朝食は品数がものすごく少なく、本当に残念でした。 *料理のオーダーが出来る点や、味は全般的に合格点ですが、種類が少なすぎるのは驚きを隠せず愕然としました。 朝食会場のスタッフの対応も味気なく、空いていたのに流れ作業的な感じる雑な感じ。ホテルの看板を背負っている意識は微塵も感じられませんでした。 清掃スタッフはすれ違いざまにしっかり立ち止まって挨拶されましたが、遠くに見えてスタッフは横柄な歩き方でダラダラとしていて気分が悪くなりました。 この点についても、周辺の新しいビジネスホテルの方が教育が行き届いている感じがします。 フロントスタッフの方々は、忙しそうでしたがテキパキとしていて不快さはありませんでしたが、一方で暖かさは感じませんでした。 結論、バード、ソフト、値段を勘案すると選びません。 よっぽど安ければまた泊まりたいとは思いますが、積極的にはナシです。 バードは予算の問題もあり簡単には改善出来ませんが、スタッフ教育は幾らでも出来るはずです。 気が付いたら、周辺の競合ホテルや、競合ではないランクのホテルに抜かれていた、、、そんな未来が近いホテルですね。

It is so convenient and so close to the Hakata JR, the room size is alright and the facility is new and clean. Just walk from the subway and no need to afraid of rains and sunshine. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast served is nice.

The exterior of the hotel is clean and the lobby is also very clean. Check-in and check-out can all be done by yourself, and the hoteliers are very helpful! I used a twin room, and it wasn't too small even with two suitcases spread out. The bathroom is also very clean and has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash haha. The hotel's location was close to Tenjin and close to the bus stop to nearby areas, making it convenient to move around. I went to Itoshima by taking the Showa Bus from the nearby Nakasu stop and it was really nice❤️ I was disappointed to come on the coldest day of the year, but I think this hotel will have more advantages if you come on a warm day. Next time I come to Fukuoka, I plan to book again🎶🎶

I stayed in Fukuoka for one night because of the flight. I didn’t expect it to be a pleasant surprise. First of all, Fukuoka Airport is very close to the city. If you arrive domestically, you can take the subway at the terminal to the city center for 3 stops. The hotel is also nearby, less than 10 minutes’ walk away. It looks like a minute, the exterior of the hotel is a concrete clear water mold, very design sense, the interior space is also very spacious, there is free coffee and beverage buffet in the lobby, and the buffet breakfast is in the restaurant on the side of the lobby, but there are not many seats in the restaurant, we have breakfast You can only sit on the table in the lobby to eat during peak hours. Oh my, I didn't take a picture of the inside of the accommodation.. haha Anyway! It was a trip for 3 people and I thought it would be better if we each had a bed. After searching diligently, I found Ann Hotel! It was exactly the same as what you saw in the picture. Clean and modern..~! I took a taxi from the airport and it didn't take long. It wasn’t bad for walking to popular places nearby! I was assigned the 9th floor, the view was nice and the staff were all friendly. However, it may be due to lack of communication between employees. They said they would clean the room one day during my 3-night stay, but they didn't do it. I asked right away and they said there was a mistake. They provided a separate towel. Anyway, that part was disappointing ㅠㅠ! Still, it was good!

This is my 2nd visit since 2015, and the ryokan still impressed me after all these years. Most of the points I raised in my previous post still valid, so I'll just supplement it from there. This time round, I had an even earlier flight, so I didn't go with their meal option, but even though you book a room without meal, I guess you can request for a breakfast for 525 Yen upon arrival, which I feel is worthwhile. In my opinion, the ryokan location is superb than even Hakata station, at least I don't have to squeeze past the crowd to get to the subway platform. It's just 2 mins walk from Gion subway exit 2 (no lift nor escalator) anyway, and is within short walk from Kushida Shrine and Nakasu-Kawabata Shopping Alley, there are also many eateries across the main street which opens as early as 5am and close after midnight. There is also a convenient store a stone throw away. I actually only met the host once upon checking-in, literally speaking, it's less of a minshuku and really more like a hotel, privacy well preserved. But most of the time, the only 'receptionist' is the owners' dog. LOL! Don't worry, it doesn't bark nor bite. I was allocated a room on level 2, with toilet and washing point just outside, but I needed to proceed downstair for bath. This time round, there are no queue for bath room, and I thought I heard the host went in after I left to clean up the bath room, just so the next one using can have a good bathing experience, even though I consider myself having very good bathing ethics, showering before dipping inside the bath tub. The water in the large bath tub is hot, but user can turn on the running tap to cool it down before bathing. Shampoo, soap, and towel are all provided inside the bathroom. Toothbrushes, if required, can self-obtained from the lobby, along with the many discount coupons and travel brochures. There is also 1 coin laundry available. If anything, take note that lightings are sensor controlled, so do not be alarmed when you brush you teeth half way and then the lights dim off, just shake your body a little bit, and it will be back on. Just like my previous stay, I would love to stay here again if I return to Hakata.

The room is separated from wet and dry, clean and hygienic. The large public bath is great and there is free ramen at 9:30 pm. You can also drink and eat ice cream and Yakult. The disadvantage is that there are too many South Koreans, they are very noisy and arrogant. You can visit the nearby Setsuda Shrine, and the pair of ramen opposite is definitely worth eating. The location of the hotel is also good. You can basically walk to the main business district in 10 minutes.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel rooms are nice, but quiet small. Their staffs are good and Manoj is excellent. Our group has 2 seniors and one of them had stroke in the morning 4am as we had a flight at 8am. Manoj was waiting to help us called a taxi as we spoke last night, so he helped out calling an ambulance, offering helps that we didn't expect. He is deserved recognitions. Thank you again Manoj! We would recommend this hotel. It is in night live area so you can stay up late. Also you will feel safe because good staff will take care you well.

Gion stn exit 2. No escalator or lift at that exit. This is an unmanned hotel. Self service check in and check out using tablets. Had trouble checking in because could not find my reservation even after trying a few times. Called the operator using the link in the tablet and he helped resolved immediately. 1 laundry machine located next to the entrance. Free coffee from 7am to 8pm. Free breakfast too. Free towel and toileteries. Only 1 lift but I never had to wait long. No room cleaning service even if stay more than 1 night but can return and replace towel. I stayed 7 nights and got nothing to complain except the bidet in toilet not functioning.

There was an event in Manmesse Fukuoka, so we used it for １ nights. It is within walking distance from kimono town and Nakasu Kawabata. ＊ There is also a bus to the Marine Messe. The room is a standard double room. There is a washbasin as soon as you enter the room. The room amenities are shampoo conditioner body soap. Other necessary amenities can be selected on the first floor. There is no bathtub, only a shower booth, but it is easy to use because the location of the shower can be moved. There is a USB charging port around the bed, so there is enough gadget charging. The bed was large 々 in a double bed. Because it is a new hotel, the building is beautiful and it smelled good every time I returned to the hotel! There are also famous hotels around convenience stores and chocolates, so it was a hotel that I wanted to stay more than １ nights.

I stayed for 3 nights for a triple sharing room with attached bathroom These are the pros in staying in this hotel 1. The location is superb as it's just 8 minutes walk from Gion station.It's inside the indoor shopping street. 2. Free wifi 3. Slipper is provided to the guest 4. English spoken staff 5.
