Luckily, everything was still there - so it appeared as if no one had entered the room. Still, this is something that should not happen and I am disappointed with the level of service here.

We had a superior room which had a lot of room so this review is based on this. I am not sure how the other rooms stack up against this. Scandic Falkoner is in a quieter part of the city but is very easy to get to by the Metro. The yellow, red and green line all run through Frederiksberg so that makes it super easy to go in and out of the city. It is probably a 5 minute metro ride. You can also pick the metro up from the airport and go straight to Frederksberg. The buffet breakfast is included in the price and was superb. There was hot and cold and a lot of variety. The hotel is approx 150m walk from a large shopping centre which has a large grocery store inside. There is also a 7-11 on the corner which has sandwiches, drinks, snacks & hot food. There is a McDonalds and a variety of nice little cafes over the road too. The ground level is quite dark and does take you back a bit when you walk in but you get used to it and the vibe it portrays. There is no closet but there is hangers and a rack to hang clothes. There is quite a few hooks on the wall and in the bathroom along with a hotel hairdryer. There is a safe and a fridge as well. The beds were super comfy and soft. The air conditioning wasn't super cold but it did keep us comfortable on the hot days. If you want your room serviced you will need to book it in with reception the day before. I did ask for the staff to fix something in our room and that never happened so I was a little disappointed about this.

Pokey, unfriendly and unclean. This is the strangest hotel we have ever stayed in! We booked a twin room, we got bunk beds. It took until our last night, for hotel staff to add a proper bed to the room. My daughter slept on a mattress on the floor until then. This was despite raising the issue after our first night. We had ensured the hotel had a lift, as we have disabilities that mean we cannot climb stairs easily . Why give us a room with a ladder? The pokey little cupboard we lived in for 5 nights bore no resemblance to the images on the website. Walls were paper thin and it was very noisy outside. Contrary to the website, you have to opt into cleaning. Rooms are only routinely cleaned every 5 days!! 5 days with no toilet cleaning , no hoovering, no cleaning surfaces. What kind of homes do these people live in? There is no way of contacting reception from the room, the only cups available are paper ones. Only one member of staff was friendly and helpful, the others looked like they hated both their jobs, and the hotel guests. We definitely won’t be back!

They are always available to you and ready to answer questions via the Cityhub app. (Psst. you can alter the colors of your Hub lights) Great and speedy Wi-Fi connection. Checking in and checking out is a breeze. You can leave your luggage at the lockers after checking out. Convenient! Lounge area is a great spot to hang out. There are drink vending machines, beer on tap and self-serve coffee machines available. You pay for them when checking-out and it’s affordable. I am a smaller person so the hub space and bed size was more than adequate. Bed was super comfy. They space guests out so you don’t have to worry much about noise and not getting a good night’s rest. There are charging and a couple of USB ports next to the bed plus a Bluetooth speaker for you to play some tunes. You’re also provided with fluffy towels and bathrobe. Communal kitchen - Basic amenities like microwave and kettle. Fridge: You can prep your food and store your leftovers in the plastic containers provided. You’ll just label them with your room number and date of check-out. Do bring flip flops for the showers, or you can buy basic toiletries from the vending machines. The spacious communal toilet area has shower and toilet stalls for privacy. Everything has been clean, private and most importantly, safe. Overall a fantastic experience!

The hotel breakfast is really amazing. There are actually herring steaks, soaked in garlic sauce, the taste is absolutely amazing. Yogurt with a variety of raspberries, accompanied by eating, tastes pure, without any processed taste, it is really pure large fruit without adding. The bread is also delicious, sandwich jam bread baked by yourself. There is a lake behind the hotel, you can go for nothing, Nordic style, and contact with nature. The only disadvantage is that it is a little far from the Central Station, but if the luggage is not very large, walking is acceptable, about 800 meters. Easy shopping around. Personally, in order to taste breakfast, I can go to live once.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! I have only taken a look at the reviews after I checked out (I will update regarding the deposit if I find any issue with it) HOWEVER the reviews are I feel a little unjust, I can only assume most of you who are leaving 1* reviews have either never been to Copenhagen, have no idea how expensive Denmark/Scandinavia actually is or completely deluded about what to expect for the price, maybe all of the above! The hotel is cheap by Copenhagen prices and to some extent it does show within the room, HOWEVER (we stayed in room 201) the bed was suitable for the 2 nights we were there, the shower worked wonderfully, the room was clean, smelt fine, the bed was clean & made when we arrived, & additional clean towels were left in our room the day after we checked in. You cannot expect 5* rooms for a 2* budget! Yes there is no lift, (definitely not suitable for those with mobility issues), yes the floor is slightly off (after a few beers you won’t even notice that) & the there is no safe in the room but the staff were very friendly, the room justified the ‘cheaper’ price tag (again it advertises itself as a budget hotel!) The location is less than a 3 minute walk from Central Station & Tivoli Gardens & within walking distance of plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants. If you want to do Copenhagen ‘cheap’ (there is really no such thing in Denmark) You can’t go wrong with this hotel!

We stayed here for a short break in January. Firstly the location of the apartments is pretty good, the nearest supermarket is only a couple of minutes walk (Netto) from the apartment and the city centre and main high street are also pretty close so no need for taxi's which are very expensive!. It was very clean and modern and there were nice little touches like coffee pods and some condiments included. There were a couple of issues with the apartment, firstly there is no wardrobe. There is a small coat rack but that is not really suitable if you were staying for more than a weekend but an iron and ironing board are also provided. Secondly it was cold and only 1 side of the radiator in the apartment worked so that was far from ideal when it was literally freezing outside. The bed is quite low and very soft so was not overly comfortable for backs and the pillow situation needs sorting as they are more like cushions than pillows! The furniture in the studio apartment is low spec and a bit uncomfortable so don't expect anything great but they were functional. They need to consider regular blinds for this property. There is a black out blind but if you want to see daylight in daylight hours the room faces an office building so we were not able to open the blinds and had to have the blind down so could not see natural daylight and the thin curtains they had up were too small for the window so were completely useless!!! We did email the owners a couple of times with questions but no one came back to us which was disappointing.....

It was very clean and modern and there were nice little touches like coffee pods and some condiments included. There were a couple of issues with the apartment, firstly there is no wardrobe. There is a small coat rack but that is not really suitable if you were staying for more than a weekend but an iron and ironing board are also provided. Secondly it was cold and only 1 side of the radiator in the apartment worked so that was far from ideal when it was literally freezing outside. The bed is quite low and very soft so was not overly comfortable for backs and the pillow situation needs sorting as they are more like cushions than pillows! The furniture in the studio apartment is low spec and a bit uncomfortable so don't expect anything great but they were functional. They need to consider regular blinds for this property. There is a black out blind but if you want to see daylight in daylight hours the room faces an office building so we were not able to open the blinds and had to have the blind down so could not see natural daylight and the thin curtains they had up were too small for the window so were completely useless!!! We did email the owners a couple of times with questions but no one came back to us which was disappointing.....

The location is good and the service is quite nice. Just that the single room is unbelievably small and there is no fridge in the room either. Another thing I have to mention is that the bathroom door simply won't stay open and keeps shutting automatically, which is absolutely dreadful. The shower door is broken. Other than above, it's fine. But what's left anyway?

The location is very convenient, close to the central station. The lobby is very lively and many people are communicating. There is also a kitchen on the ground floor where you can show your skills. The only downside is that the room is small and it is difficult to open the suitcase.

Great location, very clean and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the shower gel in the bathroom was not refilled before I checked in. The team was helpful and the cleaner refilled as requested the next morning. However, the door to my room was left open after that which I noticed when I came back late in the evening. Luckily, everything was still there - so it appeared as if no one had entered the room. Still, this is something that should not happen and I am disappointed with the level of service here.
