We stayed two nights at this hotel. We arrived early from our US flight and the staff was able to get us a room immediately, even though it was a few hours before check-in time. We really appreciated this, since we were all tired after the long flight and had two tired kids in our party. Their breakfast is really good and well stocked and clean. We enjoyed it on both mornings. This hotel is some ways from the airport and it is around 40 Euros one way in a cab or Uber. Romer (city center) is around 10-15 minutes from here (around 12 Euros in Uber). We were able to experience Frankfurt's wonderful Christmas market on 2 days conveniently from this hotel. The best part about this hotel was the staff. They were really welcoming, helpful, professional and took pride in their jobs. Every interaction with the front desk was awesome and the lady who manages the breakfast area was working very hard to keep the area clean and the food well stocked. Kudos to the staff of this hotel! We did notice two small issues with this hotel. One issue is that there's no restaurants or groceries nearby. It seems like an industrial area. To mitigate this, the hotel does have Pizza available in the evenings. The second issue was that the rooms were too warm. Since AC is not on during winters, the only option to make the room temperature more acceptable was to open the windows, which made the room noisy because of cars driving fast in the street nearby. The blankets provided were more like comforters and so we couldn't use them at all. The hotel should find a way to fix this issue. In all, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely consider it, if we plan to spend time closer to the city center.

Full marks must be given. The location is excellent, the Central Railway Station is right outside, the subway and bus are also very convenient, and there are supermarkets nearby. The room size is moderate and the hardware facilities are good. The most important thing is that the price is quite affordable and the price/performance ratio is too high. It is probably close to this price in this location in China. Highly recommended, the front desk service attitude is also very good.

I needed a reasonable hotel room for a 3 nights visit to the opera in Wiili Brandt Platz. This hotel did the job. I researched and tram 12 direct to WB Platz. Hotel was 5 minute walk from Niederhof station - 2 stops from the airport. So ideal. Tram stop outside and small supermarket 2 minutes away on opposite side of road. I had a single room, clean and with all I needed, shower, Wi-Fi (excellent) and comfortable bed. Reception welcoming and let me check in earlyish - 12.30. Breakfast was good. -cold and hot available. coffee excellent. Hotel was for me expensive but there was an exhibition on loccaly. Previous weekend much cheaper. unfortunately no English language TV news - but not really needed. Heating very good. Room might be htoo hot in high summer.

Wow- My visit started with the most facetious, arrogant, condescending harridan I've ever had the misfortune to encounter at any hotel, ever. Baffling how such an obnoxious person is employed in the hospitality industry. I could write an entire review based on how horrible this person is, but it would likely be banned by Tripadvisor, so let's move on! However, the other staff member I met was the most awesome ever- and totally went above and beyond to ensure my A&O visit went as smooth as possible. (You know who you are- Thank You!!!) As for my lodging- I was relegated to an annex outside the main building, which was not too bad as the weather was agreeable. But having to walk outside to the reception, lounge, (closed) kitchen or breakfast area in the rain or snow would have been quite unacceptable. Like all A&Os the interior was spotless. My dorm however faced an open lane/parking area often populated by drunk vagrants- or maybe drunk guests. The ground was littered with beer bottles, cigarette butts, and smelly stains (you can figure that one out!). One of the few downsides about A&Os is that six bed dorms are often two pairs of bunks, and two single beds pushed together. Those two beds seems to come with a single locker, so the dorm may be lacking in that regard. The en-suite was great though- spacious and separate rooms for toilet and shower, both with sinks, lots of hot water and even a towel warmer. So yes, as I write the covid thing is still real, and precautions must be taken for the sake of the staff and guests. Which brings me to the only thing I could not abide: despite the hostel being nowhere near full, they seemed to pack each dorm to full capacity before opening another. As they say, there is a reason for everything. But if they want to take covid seriously, my hunch says fewer guests in more dorms might be safer. Especially when the common area washrooms are shuttered- what the heck!? To sum it all up- this may not sound like the best review, but I do generally recommend A&O Galluswarte. Someday when covid is a thing of the past and operations are back to normal, I hope to stay here again.

This is a 100% honest review. And i will try to write as much to help other Customers who are looking for Hotels to book. I know how hard it is to read Reviews and all, but i hope this will help. This Hotel has the best service of all! From the Valet Parking, to the Receptionist (who speaks perfect English), to the Room! ROOM: First impression in entering the room, was.. WOW. IT SMELLS CLEAN AND GOOD! It is big enough for 2. They provided us 2 free Water Bottles, they have Shampoos, Body Soap, and Lotion. The Pillows are Comfortable, Bed is really Big (but don’t expect too much) it is just good enough to sleep. If you’re looking for EXTRA comfort for sleeping, this is not the one for you. They have Airconditioning (which is really important), and it works PERFECT! BREAKFAST BUFFET: They have wonderful WAITERS AND WAITRESSES! They will go extra mile for you like when you get your Coffee yourself, they will offer to do it for you. It gives a lot of choices when it comes to Food. Their FOOD is superb! I still can’t get over with the Waffles 😅 it is true that it’s a little bit Pricey, but if you’re a Breakfast Person, i would highly recommend you to get this one! 😊 Overall experience, it was excellent!

Service and location is good. But the street outside was very dirty and full of homeless people. The elevator in the hotel is very loud, and our room was right next to the elevator, which was a little difficult

Just opposite the train station, super cool hotel, check in staff very helpful, was able to get me room early, 10 Am. Breakfast is possibly one of the best I had while in Europe. Selection of food is amazing and the space is really cool! Absolutely raccomand this hotel

Hotel is located in outside of the center, in a pleasant neighbourhood. Local train stop to go to the center is within walking distance (approximately 800 meters). Some restaurants and supermarkets are also closeby. Rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped. Breakfast buffet was very good. Wifi worked fine. Staff is friendly and eager to help. Price-quality ratio was very good. Only minus points: - indoor swimming pool has very limited opening times and therefore easily gets crowded when open - rooms are not equipped with airconditioning. After a hot summer day be prepared for tropical temperatures in the room. While a fan was provided this did not help as it was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep whilst the fan was on - on-site parking costs EUR 19,- per 24h while there are certain areas right in front of the hotel where you can park your car for free

The BOLD Hotel is located in several renovated house series. The reception, which is occupied by 22:00, is located in a small container in front of the building complex. There is also free coffee and water here. The rooms are spacious and have a large window. The mattress is very hard-we would have used the offer of the soft topper for several nights. The bathroom is rather small. There is only one hand seam on the care tools. At the moment, a building site is in front of the hotel, but we have absolutely not got anything with it at the weekend. We cannot confirm the previously criticized luminosity of the rooms, even though we cannot say whether the hotel was not expensive at the time of our visit. There was no lift. If the stay does not take place due to a business trip, 2 Euros per night per guest will be paid. Parking is located on the side of the streets. We paid 39€ per night for the room, which is hardly to be hit because of the location, the renewable rooms. Luxury cannot be expected.
