Las Olas Guest House

Super cute place! Would recommend replacing the broken toilet top and providing more coffee. There were two of us for two days with only one serving of coffee.

I am leaving this stay a 3 star. To be clear I liked this room and will probably stay here again. So here is the negative feedback but is fixable. This is a guest house operated by a management company. Only 8 rooms and a pool. About an hour before my arrival I was readying my itinerary and noticed I was suposed to receive an email (that I did not receive) from the management company to gain access to property and room. I had to call to get the code. First time I called I got an answering service. Received no call back. Once I arrived I called again and was given the code. Upon entering the room I noticed it was dirty. So I called back and tg t switched my room. The room was nice. This is not a 5 star resort so lower your expectations. But the room itself was nicely decorated and bed was comfortable. Next morning I met the house keeper. She was very nice and engaging. The other guests were also engaging. I spent 4 hours in the pool just relaxing and talking. The grounds could use some weeding and the renovations they have done are a little sloppy. Floor looked dirty but it was just poor construction clean up. I also could not get they tv to work. I think the remote was not there. Lots of places near by to walk to to eat: many other options less than 10 min drive: great location. I will stay here again. The pictures attached are the room. The original was much smaller.

Place was super cute! However there was water running constantly in the bathroom and the air conditioner was quite loud. The bed was very comfortable and the water was HOT. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very basic accommodations. No reply to 3 texts. No arrival instructions were sent. Had to phone the management number from the property. Property is in need of upkeep. Nothing was in great shape or inviting. It could be very cute, but it’s not being maintained. Rusting stairways. Overgrown vegetation. Faded & worn facilities. We had no hot water in the shower on arrival. The next morning it was tepid. Probably warm ground water. It’s too bad. It’s like someone bought this 5-10 years ago with a dream for and Airbnb. They made it cute, and then stopped taking care of it. The location is good. Safe neighborhood. The parking spaces are TINY and awkward. You’ll need a small vehicle to get in and out of the spots. If you simply need a safe place to sleep, it’s fine. Just don’t expect anything fancy. The entire property has “faded” from the posted photos. The location is quiet and we slept well.

It was perfect for the night before our cruise. I felt extra safe being in a gated area. Bed was comfortable, shower was big. Definitely staying again!

Stay somewhere else. Only pros was the free off street parking and the Publix, Walgreens a half block away. Otherwise room was tiny, bed way too soft, toddler sized bath towels and no hand soap. Courtyard looked great in photos, dump in reality.

The building is an old apartment building split into smaller rooms…our room was intensely small, including the bathroom and shower, and there was nowhere to put stuff—no shelves in the bathroom, no dresser, no closet!

The place looks a bit run down. There are many units and some have piles of trash outside, visible to incoming guests. I reserved for 3 but only enough linens for two. Had to run to Walmart for a blanket that we'll have to throw out because we lack extra space in the luggage to fly home with it. The broken picnic table out front just added to the runned down appearance. The TV didn't work either. There isn't an onsite office and the entry instructions didn’t arrive until i called and left multiple messages with the property management company.

Very cute place. The bed was comfortable. It's very Floridian. Yes it's a little rough around the edges it needs to be kept up a little better. But the staff was wonderful the pools heat it I loved it.
