Pros- Staff were friendly and helpful. New Manager joined the hotel 2 months ago and he is very hands on, helping out with whatever was needed. Our room was large and clean (floors swept and washed every day), the bed was comfortable, Aircon was excellent and shower was hot and powerful. Our towels were changed every day and we were even left extras on some days. Sheets were changed regularly. They provided little slippers in sealed bags in case you didn’t want to walk on the bare floor. The lock on the door also had a deadlock facility. Wi-Fi was excellent, I assume the nearer you are to the main building the better it is. There are safety deposit boxes, but they are not in the rooms. If you ask at reception they will provide you with a safety deposit box in a cabinet, in a side room which has two locks. You keep one key and the receptionist has the other, no payment is needed. Both keys are needed to open the boxes. Local spirits are available in the All Inclusive package besides beer and wine, you just have to ask them as it’s not advertised. The first 5 cocktails on their menu cards are also included in the All Inclusive package. Courtesy shuttle bus from Hotel to Sidari are at 10am and 3pm. Return trips at 1.30pm and 7pm. There are also regular buses from Sidari to Corfu Town, but beware they get very busy in both directions. Driving in Corfu is not for the faint hearted! Pool is nice but the drainage slats around the sides need replacing with a stronger version. Peaceful area to sun bathe and a small bar from 3pm. Cons- Public toilets in the hotel never seemed to have paper towels to dry your hands on. Serviettes from the restaurant were in great demand for this purpose. The hotel is a bit out of the way and although you can walk from the hotel to Sidari, it was often too hot. I notice people saying it’s only a 25-minute walk but it took us 45 minutes plus. You need to be either young or very fit (or both) to walk that quickly, in that heat. You also have to walk on some very narrow pavements, but mainly in the road. The real problem with this hotel is the restaurant and the lack of staff. The male receptionist is also the bar person and helps out in the restaurant as well. There are not enough staff in the Restaurant to keep an eye on what is running out and needs replacing. Which means that the guests are forever asking for cutlery, butter, milk etc. There’s only a little 2-piece toaster (I shudder to think of the queue for that in high season) and only 1 hot drink machine, which is used by the guests all day, so you can imagine how often that needs topping up or fixing. To be fair they do top up quickly when they are told and fix it as quickly as they can. The food is repetitive and most meals are usually chicken or pork. What isn’t used in the evening is more often than not used at lunchtime the next day, either the same as the night before or dressed up with a sauce or different seasonings. Such a calm, relaxing space. We had a junior swim up suite which overlooks the main hotel and the beach. No traffic noise, just the sound of the sea lapping at the shore. Food is very very tasty and plenty of choice. Staff always have a friendly hello and respond to any requests positively and kindly, definitely 5* teamwork. Free shuttle into town where we had enough time to take a hop on hop off bus and do a bit of jewellery and clothes shopping. I also visited the spa for a signature facial, being the owner of a skin clinic I am extra fussy. I had a relaxing facial firstly and then after the mask, during which I had an arm and hand massage, I then got a harder, stimulating facial massage which I thoroughly enjoyed. A treat for anyone. We came for a relaxing holiday where we could just “be” and not have to make any plans or decisions apart from which book to read next. Well we certainly got that, I will be recommending this peaceful hotel to all of my friends who want a quality rest in beautiful surroundings. I have no doubt we will come again, thank you for having us.

We stayed here for a long weekend in June 2023. We had a beachfront room, very spacious with a sliding door separating the main living area from a twin bedded area, ideal for a family. The room was very well appointed and spacious and clean. The restaurants were all very good, quality of food and choice of wine impressive. The breakfast in particular was very good, it was fairly busy when we went but we never had to wait for a table and the breakfast team were super helpful , friendly and efficient in finding us a table. The breakfast was one of the best that we’ve had, a huge array of hot and cold food, I couldn’t think of anything that wasn’t available. The staff throughout the resort were courteous, friendly and helpful. There are sun beds and parasols on the sandy beach which was clean and tidy. The bar area was also welcoming and well appointed. The hotel is a 10-15 walk from a marina that had a few bars and restaurants and about 10-15 in a taxi into Corfu town which has huge array of eateries, shops, bars etc. There is a water taxi at the jetty on the beach that can take you to a number of restaurants, all of which were wonderful. The only minor criticism I would have is that the concierge team seemed a little clueless, not having any restaurant recommendations or even knowledge of the water taxi service which we found a little odd. George on the front desk came to the rescue with information and help. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for couples, friends or family and will definitely return.

Just completed a most enjoyable stay in The Paradise Hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous especially the lady on the front desk who worked evenings who was most helpful and also the gentleman Harry in the restaurant who was a through professional and an asset to your establishment. The breakfast was excellent a buffet and a good choice to suit all needs. The whole facility was spotless the sunbeds were the best we have seen .The accomadation staff did an excellent job rooms spotless every day . I never like being negative but more helpful feedback to improve your standards may I suggest everybody likes to have the option of a cup of tea or coffee but unfortunately you don't provide such a facility I think it should be provided as its usually available in most hotels. There is a shop close by where most of your essentials are available and a very nice lady running the shop. There is some nice restaurants close by the only draw back is the hilly road down and up which was a challenge for my wife. We would definitely return to this excellent facility which has huge potential to grow. Regards Rosemount
