I could list and explain everything that is wrong and not right about this place. In a nutshell: Check in process was okay but not welcoming and warm. Some info about to hotel and rooms would have been appreciated. Front office staff and management not helpful in our request to move beds around in a suite, we had to call our agent to have this sorted since the hotel reception were not interested citing beds too heavy to move. It took more than 2 hours for the hotel manager to come to sort this out. Room was also leaking since it was raining when we moved into the room. Again, hotel slow to respond to come and mop up and least put a rug so we wouldn’t slip on a slippery floor. Wi-Fi was not working in the room, had to call reception, the reception staff told me “Not their problem it’s the service provider” so what is their problem then. I told the guy its certainly not my problem. A staff member (the room boy) came to look and played around with the box, still did not work. He said he would come back with another router but never did. But the Wi-Fi started working after he left so go figure. We were out the next day for the whole day, and they saw us leaving, when we got back the suite had not been dressed or cleaned, reception said because we did not hang up “Make our Room” sign up but I told them there was no such sign in the suite and it could not be found. English breakfast was poor and sausages were canned sausages, an insult to meaning “English Breakfast”. The bar closes early at 10pm but by 9:45pm they were clearing up switching lights off like an indication to us its “closing time” please leave!!!!!!!!!! We were on half board which was breakfast and dinner. The last night they tried to pull a fast one on us by saying we were only on B & B and that we should settle the dinner bill to which I said no and I had to contact our tour agent to sort out the manager was sitting close by and observing and did not even try to intervene, he knew what he was trying to do. Our tour agent sorted it and the next morning on checking out nothing came up about paying for dinner. The bathroom shower is badly designed and its supposed to be an open shower with no separation or door glass and water just went everywhere in the bathroom. The only thing worthwhile at this hotel is the view on the valley going down and the surrounding mountains. I would not stay here again or recommend it especially for the high price we were paying slightly less than a 5-star hotel that we stayed in. I would rate this hotel at max 2 stars, the reception staff and manager are not very customer orientated and accommodating and it would appear that small requests bother them and the easiest answer for them is simply “NO”. When you are in such a business like Tourism accommodation and catering you have to be more appeasing to your clients or at least try to be so.
