From start to finish we have received the best and kindest service from Krishantha who made us feel at home and was always checking in if we needed anything. The room itself is spacious and has everything you need and overlooks a gorgeous view of Ella. Couldn’t reccomend more!"

"Fique longe desse hotel!As quartos do hotel não são o que é impresso em locais de reserva, a entrada é através de uma floresta em uma montanha e através de outros edifícios.As paredes são pintadas, a porta está escorregando, e a sala é feia. A Estrada de Entrada debaixo de mim se atravessa, então UMA unha passou por MEU pé e teve várias rascas.Não é um hotel, não é um bungalow.Preferia dormir com cães sem-abrigo EM vez de ficar lá UMA noite. Depois de Entrar, NOS deixámos 30 minutos. Pelo Menos o gerente era bom o suficiente para nos devolver e levar a outro hotel."

"Tendo em mente este é um hotel de 3 estrelas, os positivos são as quartos são grandes com uma varanda olhar para vistas maravilhosas (nosus), e a piscina é limpa e bastante grande também com vistas maravilhosas e uma característica de água de elefante concreto!!! A localização do hotel é bastante boa também - longe de outras propriedades para ser silencioso, MAS perto de Ella principal drag que você Pode andar EM 10-15 minutos ou Pagar um motorista de Colombo duplicar a taxa de Colombo para e de Colombo. O Grande negativo para nós foi que, apesar de ser dito quando verificamos que a sala seria limpa todos os dias, não era. E eu fui dito porque não tínhamos a chave para o fazer - o que parece estranho depois de ficarmos em hotéis por décadas e não sermos avisados ou termos de adicionar uma chave para conseguirmos uma sala normal de estar limpa. A sugestão de que não nos entregamos uma chave (não de que nos tenha dito que não nos entregamos) foi extremamente irritante.A comida estava bem, mas era demasiado cara para comermos noutros lugares (muitas opções). Havia muitas pequenas coisas Na sala que poderiam ser facilmente abordadas para tornar-se Mais bonitas. Definitivamente não ter rasgado as toalhas de banho antigas e remover um braço de TV vazio Da parede (como uma TV que costumava estar lá, mas não mais - ou é apenas a nossa sala, quem sabe).Todas estas pequenas coisas acrescentam-me que a taxa de quarto é muito alta - mas estamos aqui na temporada alta, então talvez seja apenas a taxa de saída."

"It meets expectations. It's located a bit uphill, but at least it's not noisy from the main street (where almost every cafe is packed in the evenings). It's perfect for a quick break and a good night's sleep. The breakfast is excellent—scrambled eggs, toast, a pancake, and a mango smoothie. The staff is very friendly."

"We booked this hotel well in advance with an advance payment, which based on the request of the hotel. During the advance payment, inquired about the hotel access road for the vehicles, was possible and confirmed by the hotel itself. On the arrival day (16th April) we turned from the main road to the hotel access road and the drive possibility was limited to certain distance from the main road. We tried our best to take our vehicle up to the hotel even with the help of people were in around, was not possible due to the condition of the road. We contacted the hotel and reported this difficulty and unfortunately the option got from the hotel was, somehow take the vehicle up to the hotel. Since it is almost night, no body was willing to assist us in around, unless we walk up to the hotel with all the luggages and belongings. We made our last effort for some time to move our vehicle up to the hotel and we had to give up all our efforts finally. Since the hotel did not take any further assistance towards us, we had to to look for an alternative option to spend the night. We asked for the possibility of getting a shuttle service, was just ignored. Sad part is, still we did not get any favourable assistance or courtesy call to check our condition and this made us a really disappointment with the hotel. We never received such a negative behaviour and negative attitude from any of the hospitality properties. There is no refund for our advance payment even."

"We had a wonderful stay at Greenland Villa. It is perfectly located right next to the Kithal Ella train station, from which you can directly board the famous train that goes through the nine arch bridge. The property was beautiful, very well equipped with everything we needed including a great kitchen. It was clean, well ventilated, and more importantly it felt like home. The owner took time to decorate it with great taste. On top of that he was such a humble and polite person.Upon arrival he gave us a ride to get our groceries; another day he brought us his homegrown vegetables, which was such a nice gesture. Having said that, there were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed. The WiFi connection was not great, probably because of the location, but we struggled with it. And the breakfast was very carb-heavy, which may work for you but wasn't particularly to our liking. Nonetheless, We would book it again if I ever come back to Ella. We can only recommend Greenland villa highly."
