What you're getting with this place location, location, location, as you can drop your rental car the night before and easily get to your plane the next morning. This is especially convenient, given the current CDC rule that requires a negative COVID test within 24 hours of your flight to the US. There's a place in Terminal 1 where you can reserve a test the afternoon before--way better than other offsite options, in my opinion. As for the hotel, don't expect a lot of the room. The one we got was very basic, small and a little weird in that there was no door in front of the toilet and the shower looked out onto the hallway if the door was opened. This lack of privacy may necessitate one in your party vacating the room while the other takes care of certain business, lest an uncomfortable level of embarrassment be entertained. Beyond that, they could use a good mechanic around this place and perhaps a bit of exterminating. The handle to the sink kept falling off. And the phone you were supposed to use to call so they can let you in through the locked sidewalk entrance was broken. So was the other contraption that I gather was supposed to allow your key card to let you in. I used my cellphone to call them (fortunately, they did post the hotel number at this location) and after a few moments --- voila! --- the sliding glass door magically surrendered. A friendly ant was spotted wandering along the exterior threshold of our room's door. And near a planter across from the public restrooms at the back of the hotel, a black roach of alarming size was enjoying a rest. I had no such issues inside our room, but made sure the bags were zipped up at night! And no, I didn't tell my wife about Big Mister Bug---it was too late to swap hotels and I wanted her to get a good night's rest. Breakfast was relatively sp****, but adequate and, actually, the wide selection of croissants was quite tasty. The largest issue for some may be finding this place. It has practically no signage (none at all from what I could tell inside the airport terminal) and good luck asking people who work at the airport where it is. Some told us they didn't think there WAS a hotel in the terminal. Someone here said they were given directions to this place and if I missed those, my bad. But I'm including a proper picture of the entrance and proximity to terminal 1, in case other weary travelers have this same problem. Basically, you hang a right when exiting the departure terminal (floor 3), take the sidewalk to the end and hang a left. The hotel entrance is about three doors down on the right in the adjacent section of building (it's kind of an office center) and it is marked at that point with a sign. It's just not identifiable from a distance. Also, once the door is opened for you, you have to take an elevator down one stop and when the door opens, you're greeted with a rather unappealing hallway with exposed pipes and a soiled blue rug. No worries, though. The

I have been staying in this structure several times and, unfortunately, I was completely disappointed at the last time. In fact, the experience at the reception, usually always unfair, immediately after I have provided my identity card, I ask for payment by card, the employee takes my card and despite returning my name and name asks me to to give him the one with which I booked online, telling me that I had to check my identity, now I wonder, you have my document in your hand, you have my card with which I want to check the room in advance, I am a customer with dozens of nights, why should I show the card I booked with? And if I left it in Italy? It's really unfortunate to be treated as if I were a non-reliable person. We come to the room, in and temperature is intolerable, too warm and a disturbing bad smell, I'm acting the conditioning plant by supporting the absurd noise it was making. After a while I decided to shut off it and go to my job date. When I come back to the evening again, I am very tired of the trip, I simply decide to turn off the conditioning without warning the reception because I should certainly have waited for the maintenance. It was not finished, the room was covered with a layer of powder not worthy of a 4-star structure, but also a pension, the furniture was ruined, smacked, squeezed with the risk of finding some wooden stains. The receptionist has made me clear this, but I am quick and quite disappointing that they have not chosen this structure after so long.

BAH Barcelona Airport Hotel

Let me tell you something that just happened. Tonight we stayed in a Barcelona airport hotel, and three other group members also stayed in this hotel. This hotel looks good, but there was a white man at around 23:30 just now. The man swiped his card to enter our room. We were all asleep at the time. I heard the movement in a daze. When I got up, I saw a man had opened all the doors. The man saw me and said that I had entered the wrong room and left immediately. The key card on the wall used to get electricity was taken away! We called the front desk right away and the front desk replied that we hadn't locked the door properly so the men could get in. But in fact I checked the door before going to sleep and locked it from the inside, so there is absolutely no way the door was unlocked! Call the front desk again and refuse to answer! We ran downstairs to find the front desk. The front desk said that the man had given them all the key cards, but when asked how many cards he had given, the other party refused to answer directly! This is the first time I have encountered such a thing, to remind everyone! Personal safety first when going out!

Good location near the airport, despite BCN's awful public transport. It's a nice, cheap place to stay if you need to be near the airport for an early flight and don't mind staying in a hostel bunk. I only stayed one night and didn't explore the area much, but it seems there's plenty around to do if you're staying a bit longer than I did.
Hotel Blauet by Bossh Hotels

Chose Hotel Blauet because it was far cheaper than other options and was close to the airport. Eddy on reception was brilliant! warm and informative, nothing too much hassle. Went out of his way to explain the diversion on Metro and other advise. I work in a four star hotel in the UK and he made me feel comparatively miserable and unapproachable :) . All other staff also fantastic, printed out boarding pass without issue. Metro within walking distance of hotel with hand luggage although wouldn't fancy it with big hold luggage. Room spotlessly clean, got a good nights sleep and good free internet. Hotel well and truly exceeded expectations. Read a few reviews commenting on the expensive cost of taxi fares from hotel... Do yourself a favour and download the cabify app to your phone that is used across Spain. No worries about getting ripped off, cheap as chips. I will be returning to hotel. Disliked · Shower holder wasn't fit for purpose, so had to hold shower head while showering. Wasn't a problem though... Also didn't like the timer ticking down on the hotel website when trying to making a direct booking. Felt like a cheap pressure tactic and unnecessary. It actually dissuaded me from booking direct. Clutching at straws for dislikes though had a brilliant stay.

The design of the blind is very good, it is very quiet to sleep at night, and it is very convenient to take the subway very close to the airport. The breakfast buffet in the morning is some simple bread and milk coffee, and it is very satisfied. The facilities are perfect and simple.
