Hostel Petra Marina

Nice and clean hostel near harbour. Walking distance to the bus station. Staff was really friendly. Kitchen was well equipped, terraces were nice. Bed was really comfortable, a locker was actually a wardrobe, AC worked well and curtains gave privacy. It's bit faraway from Old Town especially because it's also uphill walk there and busy street next to it. But there are also busses going from front of the hostel to the Old City. Laundry was expensive (7 euros and 12 euros if you want to use a dryer too but also possible to dry your clothes on terrace). It would be also great if there was more toilets and showers to use. Anyway might stay here again at the future :)

Three of us cycling through Europe, having never been refused storing our bikes found a first in the Hostel Petra Marina. The most unhelpful receptionist to go with a work in progress hostel that had builders still renovating. Don't go near this place if you are a cyclist or are carrying voluminous sporting kit. Much better choice is the Hostel Castello in the old town.

If you want to stay in a clean and peaceful hostel, I highly recommend Hostel Petra Marina in Dubrovnik, Croatia. This hostel is located across the street from the marina, and there is a supermarket next to it. You can take the bus to the old town, which is in front of the hostel. The people who work in the office are very friendly and helpful. You can see a beautiful sunset from all the rooms and balcony. There is a small kitchen where you can cook meals. You can reserve an airport shuttle for 25 euros. The airport driver is very knowledgeable about Croatia. I hope to return to this hostel again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
