Royal Club by Rvhr, Palm Jumeirah

The Royal Club RVHR on Palm Jumeira Building 1 was an unforgettable experience. I chose Building One because of the location next to Spinneys, a host of Restaurants on the Golden Mile, Nakeel Mall and of course access to The View over Palm Jumeira. Another added bonus was being fortunate to hire a car to drive down the Palm Jumeira Road toward Atlantis and all around the Crescent. It took a bit getting use to driving on the "wrong side" of the road in a left hand drive car, but what a thrill. Obviously having the car made it so much easier to get around Dubai's splendid highways and just being part of the unbelievable Dubai traffic. Another positive was doing Dubai at my own pace and having access to every corner of Dubai that we wanted to see. Shiek Zayed Road with its 6 to 8 lanes was an adventure on its own, at my age it felt like doing the Zip Line. Be brave and calculated. The RVHR B1 is a self catering unit with all the necessary amenities with easy access to the East side and the famous West Beach Hotels and beaches. You have to visit Loren Restaurant on West Beach to the north of the promenade. Other highlights were visiting the famous Dubai Mall, the brilliant water display, seeing Burj Khalifa, swimming in the warm waters of Jumeira Beach next to the Burj Al Arab Hotel. An evening visit to JBR and Marina Beach is a must, and lastly I have to mention the Desert excursion, 4 wheelers , Camel rides and Dune Bashing which ended with a lovely Dinner and Belly Dancers. Wow, 8 days of non stop excitement.

One of the best location in Palm Jumeirah Dubai and close to many amenities such as good restaurants and transportation. However, the unit itself was poorly furnished and maintained.

Old, tired and needs updating. Overpriced for what is offered. Difficult check in as in another area to the apar**ent with limited places to park. It’s late - was told to come back at 4pm, came at 4:40pm and still wasn’t ready and told to sit and wait longer.

Worst agency to book an trip with.Cheat and lair people....better not to enrol with Royal Palm Holidays instead try Apollo tours and travels atleast they provide better service.they ruin my holidays took money and never promised wht they said

I had an extraordinary stay at the Royal Club and I can highly recommend it. The service was professional, very caring and the apar**ent was outstanding. It was a beautiful stay and I will definitely come back. Thanks to the Royal Club and especially Mr. Arsany.

Apt is nice and big Doesn’t have summing pool by the condo . 15mins walking and have to pay separate. I wouldn’t staying there .

What a lovely stay in block 5 over looking the beach And how gorgeous being on the palm yet so close to everything.. just an £8 taxi into the marina !! The Riva beach club is also fabulous Yes the apar**ent is a bit dated in some places, but really the space, views, air conditioning unit, balcony, open plan kitchen, more than compensate for any minor issues like the odd mark on furniture And I thought the value for money was excellent We paid more for the first 3 days in a hotel, by the lakes and were woken up every night by party revellers down below... we couldn’t wait to get somewhere more idyllic and quiet.. The security in each building also makes you feel safe and staff are very helpful (especially when your card stops working) :-) and the staff at the royal club desk are so helpful too The beachside residences are just perfect for this and I would thoroughly recommend. There is also a pool next door to block 5 though we didn’t use any of the pools , preferring to sit on the beach Looking forward to returning again one day soon
