Dear readers, as unsatisfactory guest, I would like to share my experience in this hotel. First of all, I must say that the central location of the hotel is positive. I also liked the impressive hall of red marble in the eastern style. My room on the 5th floor was pleasantly large and offered a good view of the city. Unfortunately, this is the hotel at the crossing of two main roads. This means that the traffic around the clock is very strong and especially at night when the Poser scene tries her PS-stark cars, I was always wake up at night. Also the equipment is simple and has come into the years. The garden fell to me immediately when hearing, because the holder was defect and it was no longer fitted. The very bright room was also a big problem because I could hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. The breakfast was a great disappointment, as low-quality goods were used, the cheapest available on the market. All in all, this was the last time I stayed in this hotel. On the second day I went to a bakery in the morning. Unfortunately, I can't make a recommendation for this hotel and advise potential guests to look after a better option. Had a great stay at this Hotel for two nights from Wednesday 21st September, This Hotel is very fresh looking, I believe opened in 2021. A couple of hundred yards from the Central Station. You can see this Hotel directly in front of the Station. Turn left out of the Hotel and a further 5 minutes walk will take you to the pedestrian shopping area. Nice bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower. Nice breakfast and staff...nothing negative to say about this property. Intercity hotels are a great brand with fair prices. Well done to all staff.

The hotel was very good, the hotel was very good, and the hotel was very good, and the hotel was very good. Matraces of the bed were hard, but for a weekend to do well. What I missed was a multon on the matrace, lakens were straight on the matrace, head kiss soft. Shower was nice with towels shampoo and soap. Breakfast, more than enough and very good. Car could be lost in the parking garage below the hotel, but indicated when booking. From the hotel, you are right in the center. Staff is friendly

Acora is quite big hotel some 10 minutes walk from Rathaus station. The location is on a busy street ( ask for a garden view if you want a rest ). We were accommodated on a highest floor (5th) which is likely additionally built and strangely it has staircase inside the room which are extremely narrow. Fairly the room was spacious and the hotel staff were polite. Some parts of the room looked worn out. My personal opinion is that it is not worth the money. Some very high rates considering what it is offered. Maybe Bochum doesn’t have enough hotel facilities so they skyrocket the accommodation prices. For me the rate of 130 Euro ( without breakfast) per night for a couple and a 10 year old kid is insanely high for this level of service. Would never come back.

We loved it. The hotel is a converted fortified house from the 13th century with extensive grounds that made for lovely walking in the Easter sun. Breakfast is plentiful and there’s a good choice of food, and endless supply of coffee. The bedrooms are clean, the beds comfy, and super-quiet. If that was all I knew about this place, it would be enough to recommend it. But it is not all I know. There’s more. What sets hotels apart is attentiveness to detail. And this hotel has that - all the little touches that made our stay so much nicer, they pushed the beds together since they knew we were a married couple, they opened up quiet areas for us to sit and enjoy a coffee. But there’s yet more. Staff are all friendly, competent and always there for you. Particular mention goes to the night staff, Ann-Christin and Erdal, who were somehow always able to find time for a nice chat with us despite having to manage several things at once. Go there. It’s fun.

It’s really a shame… this hotel is mostly totally fine, and I love that it was so convenient to the train station. But the beds are AWFUL. I mean *bad*. It’s like sleeping on top of a table… so hard, I’d wake up with numb fingers, hands, and feet. The pillows filled with crumbly material deflate immediately as well, making it just impossible to get a good night of sleep. It’s a shame, really!

This hotel charged me 600 euro a night. There must have been something on in Dortmund for anyone to pay this as it’s more like a backpackers than a hotel. I arrived at 11pm. My stay was prepaid in full by my corporate travel agent. They said they had no rooms and that I would have to wait and they would take me to another property somewhere in the city. I was very upset and refused to move and finally they “found” a room. At this point it was almost midnight. I asked could I order a beer to take to my room. The answer was no but I could go to another hotel nearby where there was a bar. 600 euros a night. I then got to my room which was fine and clean if basic. There were only European sockets. I have sleep apnea and need a cpap device and an adapter for a Uk plug. Every Marriot I have ever been to has the universal plugs (at least one or two in each room). This place has none. Just basic German sockets. I called down and said do you have an adapter I will even buy one of you sell them. I will even pay for someone to go and get one. I was told, no we don’t and we don’t have a conceirge or anyone like that and we won’t help. Even if it means you die. True Marriot hospitality. So I guess anyone without their own adapter is out of luck at this “hotel”. I then tried the internet. Out of luck there too, internet shows up but doesn’t connect or work. I called the front desk. It just rings out. Over and over. No one answers or bothers. This is the single worst experience I have ever had at a hotel at the price point or at any Marriot worldwide, and I have stayed in many of them over many years. This place should lose its accreditation and the management ought to be replaced. Do not stay here unless you get a room for 50 euro a night, maybe 75, which is all it’s worth it’s basically a nice backpackers just off a freeway. If Marriot sees this can someone please contact me as this hotel caused me health issues and was a disgrace to your brand.

Sehr auf jugendliche Zielgruppe ausgerichtet. Stylish. Gute, zentrale Lage in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Kleine Zimmer, winziges Badezimmer, Sehr einfach eingerichtet, kein Schrank, kein Room Safe, kein Kühlschrank. Leider Probleme mit der Instandhaltung. So war da ein schlechter Geruch aus dem Ausguss der Duschkabine. Die Beleuchtung am Bett hatte einen Wackelkontakt. Kein eigenes Fitness Center, man kann das kleine Fitness Center des benachbarten Residence Inn mitbenutzen. Frühstücksbüffet ok. Insgesamt kein komfortables Hotel. Dafür aber preiswert.

We were very satisfied in the beautiful hotel . The generous room with view to the rest and in the garden was exactly according to our taste. The comfortable bed provided relaxing sleep. The furniture modern and attractive. The bathroom is newly equipped with a large shower and practical very large washing table. Confortable with the separate toilet. The balcony is also very nice of size and is equipped with table and adjustable chairs as well as sunscreen. The menu for dinner was delicious. Breakfast was also good. There is also a hall bath and fitness room, but we didn't both use. The outdoor facilities with the beer garden were excellent. The location of the hotel is top. Parking is free. There were cheap outdoors as the garage was located. The bikes could be placed and loaded free in the garage.

Excellent city hotel in perfect vicinity to the city centre, the train station and the German football museum! Beautiful, cozy furnished lobby and bar. Extraordinary, wonderful, varied breakfast until 12:00! Here is everything the heart wants! Very friendly, helpful staff. Very nice, clean and well equipped rooms. Absolute wellness hotel. We can recommend this house of best conscience and have been allowed to spend a wonderful weekend in Dortmund here as a family (2 Erw. + 1 child)! We are very happy to come back. Continue so!
