The room was so clean and completely renovated. The location was great. The reception helped find the visiting places. When you are booking the hotel via this APP, make sure the information is updated! For the room I booked it was written that the room has a lake view but unfortunately, when I got my room it had a building view! I contacted “customer service”, and they gave me some “coins” in the APP as compensation. I will choose this hotel again if I travel to Dali.

Excellent stay. Very good and helpful staff who gave us an upgrade and provide great assistance during an unexpected situation. Location is very close to the train station and business district. Ancient Town and the Pagodas are a bit of a hike but we found connectivity via Didi to be easy at 35 minutes and around 40 yuans. Breakfast is amazing, we really appreciated the western options and the coffee. Special call out to the front desk team working this morning for their assistance with coordinating the delivery of our lost items from another Hilton to our next Hotel, also a Hilton. Highly recommend.

The ideal location across from Dali railway station and bus number 4 conveniently gets you to the ancient town and three pagodas. As a hotel it serves the basics...though as non English speaker issues are not easily resolved despite them saying they have multilingual staff (that means they use an app). Rooms are not cleaned properly (dirty cups not replaced and amenities not restocked. The coffee/ tea area in the room is a cup and two tea bags - no stirrer sugar or milk. Breakfast is chaotic - running out of good, dirty and not enough space to sit when what seems the whole hotel cones to breakfast at the same time...group booking I would suggest. Gym is the biggest joke. All equipment is broken and I'm sure no management has checked it since it was purchased. Most of the time guest luggage is placed in front of the entrance to the gym as they eat in the restaurant! Would I recommend - only if proximity to station is important. Brett (Australia) Nov 25

Our family of three was checked into the family twin room for 2 nights with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The sight of the sun rising / setting on those mountains was a great bonus on top of the spotless clean & very well appointed room. The hotel has tea/coffee with lots of snacks available in the lobby area + organises 9.30pm rice / millet porridge suppers on the second floor. Highly recommended for families travelling to & around this beautiful city.

Just got back from an amazing stay at the Pullman Dali ! First off, the views of Erhai Lake are incredible. Waking up to that every morning was worth the trip alone. The hotel is super modern and everything was spotlessly clean—our room felt like a perfect, comfortable retreat. But the real highlight was the service. A huge shoutout to our room assistant, Tracy! She was so attentive and helpful. For two days, she was basically my personal ”Ask Me Anything” guide for the hotel and Dali. Need a restaurant tip? Ask Tracy. How to work the lights? Tracy knows. Extra pillows? Tracy's on it. She answered every single question and made everything so easy and smooth. If you're looking for a beautiful, comfortable hotel with stunning views and staff who genuinely make your stay better, this is it. Thanks especially to Tracy for making our trip so special! Highly recommend!

The room was very clean and tidy, and the bed was also very soft. The staff were very friendly, and there was free parking available. My friends and I had a great time.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both the high-speed train station and commercial areas, meaning you can arrive directly after getting off the train – saving time and hassle. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and it's easy to catch a taxi to the Ancient City or the Erhai Lake corridor. It perfectly balances convenient access with a peaceful stay, as you won't be disturbed by street noise. The hotel's overall decor is a light luxury and elegant style. The lobby incorporates Oriental bamboo and wood designs, with Yunnan-specific details visible everywhere. The public tea room and lounge areas are clean and tidy, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea in your downtime. My king-size room was spacious and airy, featuring a smart home system where I could control lights and curtains with my voice – very high-tech. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the floors, bedding, and even the nooks and crannies of the bathroom were spotless. The bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas and stocked with branded toiletries. The mattress was soft yet supportive, paired with both soft and firm pillows, allowing even a light sleeper like me to get a good night's rest. The soundproofing was excellent; I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. The service was an added bonus. The front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic, checking me in efficiently and quickly. They even thoughtfully provided welcome fruits and local tea bags. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, including authentic Yunnan rice noodles and Ersi, as well as Western pastries, fresh fruits, and vegetables. The hotel also has a free gym and a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient for long trips. The 24-hour front desk was always available, responding promptly to any request. The value for money is outstanding. Dali's scenery is soul-healing, and this hotel added so much warmth to my journey. Next time I visit Dali, I will definitely choose Meihau Hotel again, and I recommend it to all my friends and all visitors to Dali to book with confidence.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel's overall environment was clean and elegant. The room was spacious, and the cleanliness was meticulous. Facilities like the bathroom and appliances were in good working order and provided a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and gentle, check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was smooth when issues arose. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, making dining and getting around effortless. The guest room area was quiet at night, allowing for good rest. Overall, there were no disappointments; everything exceeded expectations, and the price was reasonable. It was a very pleasant accommodation experience. I will definitely book here again if I return to the area and would recommend it to friends traveling here.
