Had an enjoyable 4 night stay here. Great location across the road from Train station and Tivoli gardens. Nice light room looking over to Tivoli with a great view of the firework display on Saturday night. Comfortable beds and good selection of hot and cold dishes at breakfast. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. A special mention to Kurt the concierge who took time to tell us about places to visit, marking them out on a handy street map for us.

The hotel is in the center of the city, the traffic is very convenient, just buy something to walk, no need to take a taxi, what brand can be found around it. The location, decor and vibe of this hotel are perfect. The laid back atrium environment is a nice place to hang out. The staff are professional and helpful at all times. The rooms - we had 2 - are comfortable in that scandì way. Excellent bathroom. I thought that the breakfast pastries were superlative - outstanding. A great 2 night stay in Copenhagen. I will return for sure. One small thing: I loved their shoe horn and wish that I had taken it home with me! Unfortunately my conscience forbade me from doing so! Sadly they do not sell this simple excellent accessory.

Because the passport was lost in the Netherlands, I did not stay at this hotel. . . It’s first visit to Copenhagen for my husband and I, I booked standard room with water view for the night before cruise holiday, were very happy with the whole experience. The room was spacious with two large and comfortable beds. All stuff were approachable, friendly and professional. The breakfast selection was excellent, fresh and tasty. We had burgers for lunch which was really yummy. Furnitures were slightly dated but all in good condition and clean.

Scandic Copenhagen is certainly at the top of the quality you can expect from a hotel. If you are looking for details/nice-to-have: The reception could have been a little more engaged when we had questions. Minibar/fridge in the room would be nice. Poor options for connecting your own media to the TV. Missed the standard fried egg at breakfast. This is details which a lot of hotels don't have, so we didn't expect it. Cleaning must be ordered at reception, which I think is a nice solution - but I would prefered a more digital solution. If we had stayed longer, I would be nice to ”order” towels or laundry/pick up in the hallway.

Another thing I have to mention is that the bathroom door simply won't stay open and keeps shutting automatically, which is absolutely dreadful. The shower door is broken. A very aesthetically pleasing hotel with lots of pictures, sculpture and fun exhibits and lights. Huge venue with several bars and restaurants - the ones we tried were very good. Great service from lots of staff. Big room, very comfortable and clean. Only issue was that the toiletries in the bathroom were not filled up. The gym and pool area are very well Equipped although I didn’t like the fact the gym was on a glass corridor where people walk past with their bags etc.

Location: excellent. Just a relatively short walk to the train stations nearby. Amenities and conveniences all around. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. They are always available to you and ready to answer questions via the Cityhub app. (Psst. you can alter the colors of your Hub lights) Great and speedy Wi-Fi connection. Checking in and checking out is a breeze. You can leave your luggage at the lockers after checking out. Convenient! Lounge area is a great spot to hang out. There are drink vending machines, beer on tap and self-serve coffee machines available. You pay for them when checking-out and it’s affordable. I am a smaller person so the hub space and bed size was more than adequate. Bed was super comfy. They space guests out so you don’t have to worry much about noise and not getting a good night’s rest. There are charging and a couple of USB ports next to the bed plus a Bluetooth speaker for you to play some tunes. You’re also provided with fluffy towels and bathrobe. Communal kitchen - Basic amenities like microwave and kettle. Fridge: You can prep your food and store your leftovers in the plastic containers provided. You’ll just label them with your room number and date of check-out. Do bring flip flops for the showers, or you can buy basic toiletries from the vending machines. The spacious communal toilet area has shower and toilet stalls for privacy. Everything has been clean, private and most importantly, safe. Overall a fantastic experience!

The hotel breakfast is really amazing. There are actually herring steaks, soaked in garlic sauce, the taste is absolutely amazing. Yogurt with a variety of raspberries, accompanied by eating, tastes pure, without any processed taste, it is really pure large fruit without adding. The bread is also delicious, sandwich jam bread baked by yourself. There is a lake behind the hotel, you can go for nothing, Nordic style, and contact with nature. The only disadvantage is that it is a little far from the Central Station, but if the luggage is not very large, walking is acceptable, about 800 meters. Easy shopping around. Personally, in order to taste breakfast, I can go to live once.

Hotel in excellent location, close to station and all types of public transport. Felt modern and energetic. Beautiful spaces, great room at a good price. Clean and no noise pollution. We had quite a labyrinth to get to the room. Breakfast good and extensive. The downside was the loud music all day long in the public areas, which could be turned down or turned off. Because it certainly wasn't my taste in music.

We booked a room through Hotwire.com and were very pleased to find that we got the Mayfair Hotel in Copenhagen as it is very conveniently located in the Vesterbro area. We only booked for one night on the way to Schweden. The Hotel is very nice and big, but now here is the not so good bit. We booked the third an most expensive a twin room and we got a broom cupboard as a room. It had a 150cm wide bed, but you could only get in from one side. The bathroom was also beyond his heydays. If they want give you room 1044 decline it. With two people in it you could barely turn without hitting each other. Needless to say we were not happy with the room and went to complain. The manager was very apologetic and got our points. He offered us an upgrade to a bigger room, which had a nice king size bed. He wanted another DKK 260.00 for the night. In the end we got it cheaper, because we wanted a better room an were tired. In fact I would have expected a free upgrade but that did not happen. From a business point I would hire that manager, because he was very good at upselling. Just of this review, give room 1044 a wide birth

Having tootled across Denmark for 10 days, I became something of an expert at navigating best value hotels... this one wins hands down. Like, by a country mile! Despite being in a kinda scuzzy neighbourhood, which for some reason is where most cities' primary train stations seem to be located (hotel is about 3mins walk from Copenhagen Central - best to exit station at rear) this place comes with NONE of the slapdash, take-it-or-leave-it, mouldy, threadbare, thin-walled, stinky vibes that one usually finds in hotels in such hoods. The place is spotless...bathroom was immaculate (no tiny little latherless green soaps here, but rather Oriental Lavender bodywashes, if you don't mind!)...the room itself: modern, relatively spacious, hard floors with that ”Scandinavian” Ikea-esque furniture and bedding. Bedside chargers. Cool TVs that let you mirror your phone as Boris Johnson finally resigned. Small fridge. Aircon. Nice towels. ”New-feeling” crisp bedding. And perhaps the best thing, was the overall friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They genuinely seem to all take pride in how they run the operation. You can get laundry done at their nearby sister hotel The Saga (where staff were also really nice). Anyway... enough blathering...I normally only write reviews on here when I'm pissed off with something. It was nice to write some positivity for a change. If it's available at a good rate (and the prices were good) you don't need to look anywhere else. S
