Very basic hotel - really cannot see how this achieves its 4 star rating. Pool area is lovely but every else seem dated and tired. I have stayed in nicer 3 star places.. Was basic and our friends had no tea or coffee Making facilities and had to request this from reception . They reluctantly supplied. Staff were mostly friendly but we were given wrong information about the harbour area and no information on planned pool fitness sessions. Breakfast was ok though got a bit repetitive for a week. Would have been nice to have fresh fruit juice….. Location is ok but chose the area for its harbour location. Despite being a busy harbour there are no restaurants, shops or facilities there due to the inaccessible location - we had to walk along a dual carriage way to get there and the town is not connected to the harbour . It’s a real shame as it could be lovely .

I had the most amazing experience at Hotel Red Sun Vil’age! The all-inclusive package provided an exceptional array of options, making my stay incredibly enjoyable and stress-free. The variety and quality of the food and beverages exceeded my expectations, and I truly felt pampered throughout my entire stay. The pool area was an absolute highlight! It was immaculately maintained, and the pool itself was spacious and inviting. I spent many relaxing hours lounging by the poolside, soaking up the sun, and cooling off in the refreshing waters. The staff at Hotel Red Sun Vil’age were an absolute delight. Their warm hospitality, attentiveness, and friendly nature made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. From the reception to the dining area, everyone went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and that I had a memorable stay. The wide range of activities offered by the hotel kept me entertained throughout my stay. Whether it was water sports, evening shows, or guided excursions, there was never a dull moment. I especially appreciated the effort the hotel put into providing both fun and relaxing activities for guests of all ages. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better vacation experience. Hotel Red Sun Vil’age truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fantastic all-inclusive getaway. I am already looking forward to returning and creating more wonderful memories at this exceptional resort. The only point that could be improved at Hotel Red Sun Vil’age is the availability of food options for non-pork eaters. While the all-inclusive dining experience was outstanding overall, I noticed that there were limited alternatives for guests who preferred non-pork options or followed specific dietary restrictions. Expanding the variety of dishes that cater to different dietary preferences would be a valuable addition, ensuring that all guests can fully enjoy the culinary offerings at the resort. By addressing this aspect, Hotel Red Sun Vil’age can provide an even more inclusive and satisfying dining experience for every guest.

We stayed in this hotel once wonderful for a week. The feelings are contrasting ... on one side the exceptional location, the view you have on the Maddalena island, the facilities present but .... there are so many but. In the first three days of the day we asked for them to be done in the morning and came at 14 or 15 when we were resting, unretired waste, unretired bed linen. The worst thing was the lack of answers from the reception. After 3 days the things finally got to fix. Then 2 ggs closed for maintenance (may happen for charity). The accommodations to fix, rather uncomfortable beds, dated furniture. The shops in the village are all desolatedly closed. There is no total animation. Bars in the hotel at the request of a cocktail can not answer that it has almost nothing. The impression is that the staff are reduced to the bone and who is there is shipping how can it use sometimes ridiculous excuse.

We visited for my husbands 40th birthday. This hotel is stunning to look at and is situated next to a large harbour. We booked via Tui and had a very large room that over looked the pool with a balcony. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable! The rooms are cleaned twice a day unless you mark do not disturb, once for a clean and then a turn down service. I cannot describe how amazing breakfast is! The coffee is lovely, the selection of foods available and the view over the harbour while you eat was the best way to start each day. I noticed there were were lots of gluten free options. However, after breakfast, as with everything in Sardinia (!) the food and drink is expensive! We didn't mind too much as we were away for a special occasion and the prices are in line with the rest of the island. When you're looking for dinner we found a very reasonably priced restaurant a 5 min walk away called Volemose Bene. Delicious food! There is a courtesy bus to two different beaches and this is well worth booking onto. The hotel provide beach towels and sunbeds and parasols. The beaches are stunning but have very little amenities. We bought drinks/snacks from the shop nr the hotel and took them with us. The hotel pool has plenty of very comfortable sunbeds and they also provide pool towels just ask the lifeguard. This hotel lost a star from us because there were no tea and coffee facilities in our room. This was a big negative for us as we like to wake up and have a cuppa in our room before starting our day. Lastly I must just say the staff were incredibly polite and attentive and an absolute credit to the hotel.

If you want to truly escape this is for you! Set on the beach with stunning views to sea you can either lounge by the pool or grass areas with daily towels available from reception. You do however need to either hire a car or be prepared for a €60 minimum return journey to the nearest town, whilst it’s absolutely worth it, it can get pricey. The breakfast is good and you can ask for omelettes etc, fresh juices and Prosecco. The restaurant is a la carte and the food was excellent with good wine selection. The staff were all wonderful and friendly and helped us with our Italian. The beach does not belong to the hotel but you can rent two beds on the beach for about 45 euros but the hotel is so close you don’t need to. There is an excellent beach bar and boat hire and the service, food and drinks are excellent. You can hire the small speedboat for €200 euros and explore the islands. The pool area was lovely and clean with nice beds and the spa, toilets and gym were good also. Rooms are nice but found ours a little small, nice balcony with views of the sea (recommend deluxe sea view room). However there are a couple of frustrations which other guests commented on, it wasn’t easy to order a bottle of wine to sit and drink in the bar or outside, only by the glass in the bar so you had to go to the restaurant which was a little awkward, no room service but they did bring our wine to our room but charged us. At times there were no staff in the bar so you had to go to reception to ask them to send someone to the bar, you shouldn’t have to do that as a customer. All in all a lovely week but can’t quite give it 5* rating, Sardinia is beautiful and will definitely return. Thank you for the lovely birthday cake. Firstly check in was quick and smooth where our bags were taken to our room for us. Danbar was very helpful and friendly. Andrea, one the bar staff went above and beyond to make conversation and suggest good places to see whilst in the area. We did find that our room was always nicely presented once housekeeping had been. Changing the towels and presenting the bed nicely. Otherwise the resort is clean and tidy, the bar staff are all friendly and helpful. Avoid the majority of the reception staff if you can. Do note that this hotel is expensive but provides very little. You cannot use tap water in this area but you are not provided with any water apart from two tiny bottles upon arrival. They charge €5 for one bottle of water at the bar. (Get the bus into town and walk to the despar or eurospin, you can buy 6 bottles for under €2 euros) a small beer is €7… don’t waste your money. The ‘private’ beach that is advertised is actually half a mile uphill from the resort. It’s not private the way you would think, it’s a public beach with sun loungers cornered off for mangias customers. Nobody checking this either so anyone can really use them. The signs ‘water sports’ in the resort just end up taking you to a horrible bit of water where there is a ton of plastic and not a very pretty part of such a beautiful place. We found that a small minority of the reception staff were actually welcoming and helpful where a large portion of them were rude and dismissive. Our shower had broken 5 days into our trip so we reported this straight away where we were told it would be fixed the next morning. It wasn’t. We then reported it the next day as still being broken, we had to speak to reception twice in the space of an hour because nothing had been done. A man then came into our room to see the shower and said he couldn’t fix it and would be back with some more information on what to do. He never returned and nothing was ever done so when checking out we said it was still broken and nothing was done and the lady at reception said there was nobody to fix it. Surely they would then be unable to check someone into this room due to the broken shower but refused to extend our checkout time past 11 o clock because they were so ‘busy’ We also spoke to the same two ladies at reception on our last day to ask if they had any information about our transfer. They did not ask our names or what room we were, simply just said “no” On the same visit we asked if we were able to extend our checkout because with the usual checkout being 10am we weren’t due to leave the hotel until 5pm as we had a later flight. They said no to extending it past 11am so we agreed on that. Our last morning we went for breakfast and retuned to our room at 10:05 where we were then locked out. Going back to reception where the same two ladies were working we said we were locked out “checkouts at 10” they said and we tried to say that we had agreed on 11 where she bluntly said “we’ll change y

Excellent boutique hotel. The concierges at the desk and the entire staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. This really made our time in Sardinia special. The location in is in the heart of Palau with great energy. We enjoyed walking right outside the hotel going and going around the town, going for a drink and dinner. Our room had a beautiful view of the sea and was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The excursion with the boat company the hotel set up for us was a highlight of our time. Not far from Olbia airport. Can easily take the bus to travel to other parts of Sardinia. Highly recommend.
