Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean and stylish. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

hotel is located at Colombo 1 that takes less than an hour driving from airport. Official airport transfer charge is a little bit high. Room space not big but enough for businesses trip, but free WiFi speed is low. Gymnasium is small. Staff is very nice and breakfast is good.

I am writing to share a disappointing experience I recently had during my visit to your esteemed hotel. I came to your hotel to host a business meeting and was seated in the lobby while waiting for other clients to join. Despite staying at the Hilton, we had decided to convene at your hotel, as it was more convenient for my colleagues. Unfortunately, during our wait, your Assistant Food & Beverages Manager approached me and informed us that we could not stay in the lobby without ordering food or beverages. I explained that we were awaiting two additional clients and intended to proceed with our meeting afterward. However, the manner and insistence with which this message was delivered left me feeling unwelcome and embarrassed. As a former Hotel Manager myself, I would never have condoned such behavior or service standards, especially in our own hospitality-driven country. While I was impressed with your hotel’s structure and product quality, this experience overshadowed my initial impression and left me deeply disappointed. After this incident, my team and I decided to leave and return to the Hilton, where I am currently staying. I sincerely hope you will address this matter and take steps to ensure that other guests do not face a similar experience in the future. I trust in your ability to uphold the high standards of service your hotel is known for. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

First of all, the hotel is historical, suitable for taking pictures, and the pool is good. Now talking about the disadvantages, the power supply in the room is very unreasonable, you need to use a large plug-in board (provided by the hotel), the bedding is too old, the bed is a bit collapsed, and it will ring when it turns over! And the most unbearable are crows and mosquitoes! Too many mosquitoes. I was awakened in the middle of the night and asked for mosquito coils at the front desk. Eating breakfast is more scary. Sitting in the house is too dim. Sitting outside and biting mosquitoes to coax the crow! Hurry up for breakfast and each person was bitten by five or six bales! Still sprayed with insect repellent! The crow fell on the back of his chair twice! Experience the worst breakfast ever! The hotel restaurant and lounge are very beautiful, it is recommended to have a drink and take a picture, not recommended if staying

We stayed at this hotel for our first two nights in Sri Lanka. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful and gave us great service. Room service was devine and we were hooked on the locally made kottu . Dinner and breakfast the next day was also very good with a variety of foods to choose.

The hotel is in a good location. There is a seaside train just one block away and a supermarket 100 meters away on foot. The buffet breakfast and dinner have a rich variety, and the wifi signal is much better than in other cities in Lanka.
