This was a very lovely stay in Goshen, IN. We were comfortable, the rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. At first glance it doesn’t look like the flashiest hotel but it is cute and quaint and worth your money! It is also quite central to downtown Goshen and anywhere else you would want to go, there is a lovely picturesque pond with a 1.5 mile walking trail not five minutes drive down the road. The owner of this establishment very obviously cares about the quality of your stay and the integrity of his property. I encourage anyone who can’t afford the fancy nice hotels to frequent this one as it does just as fine a job for a very fair price!

Parking is very convenient and there are a lot of parking spaces. It’s a simple breakfast, an authentic American breakfast. It’s a bit unbearable to eat more every day. Everything else is fine.

While the people were perfectly friendly, this hotel has seen much use and needs a lot of work. Mattresses are like shallow soup bowls, rusted drain covers, tissue box holder, door veneer falling off, wallpaper coming off, chipped paint on door frames. General sense of tiredness. Hot tub closed off with hazard tape, pool has dead bugs and gross things in it.

Stayed here for one night while in Goshen for a concert. Service at the front desk was warm and welcoming. Guest room was clean and comfortable and met the standard one expects from a Hampton Inn. Decor was traditional. Internet was free and fast. The lobby has plenty of space for breakfast seating. The breakfast itself was fairly standard for a Hampton; I wish they would upgrade the healthier offerings (such as less sweet yogurt and better fruit). Nevertheless it was well-stocked and the area clean. A pleasant stay; I would not hesitate to return.

The Comfort Inn is a great place to stay. We had a problem with our room and Elizabeth at the front desk was super nice and corrected our problem. The housekeeping ladies were absolutely great too. Lovely people working at this nice hotel and made our stay just perfect! Go stay at the Comfort Inn in Goshen and meet these charming ladies!! Thanks again, Elizabeth.

WOW. This Wyndham could certainly use an update, but for the price it fit my needs and was very clean. I am very sensitive to cleaning products and had no issues here. Also the windows open to a crisp breeze, big flex. Prakash watched over my car when I had to leave town unexpectedly. I felt safe here. Breakfast was better than I expected. Will definitely return

We would have given this hotel a higher rating if it had been cleaner. Parts of the hotel were fine and other areas needed much work, specifically our room. The first thing I noticed upon entry to our room was a very distinct musty and humid odor. The odor never improved. The windows do not open in these rooms. It is a well-used motel in need of some refurbishment. The corners in our rooms were in desperate need of being vacuumed. I dropped a pen off of my nightstand and realized the floor was covered with old nail clippings. All of the edges of the carpet were filthy. The bathroom had pink mold growing in the corners, and the wallpaper was stained and grubby. The mirror surround in the bathroom was dirty and etched. The above mirror light in the bathroom did not work part of the time. Laundry facilities are out of order and have been for quite some time. No repairs have been facilitated. On a positive note, the breakfast host, Theresa, and the front desk check-in staff, Miranda, were both absolutely wonderful. Thank you to them. Hilton, please do better and invest in your hotel to complement this wonderful area. Everything else seems to be well taken care of in the region except portions of this hotel.

KKnobbyandClara8867We came into town for our first visit to watch a show at The Lerner. Beautifully restored theatre and neat area to explore with Mishawaka and South Bend a short drive away. Hotel is a new, well cared for hotel with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. My only word of caution is to be prepared for much higher preauthorizations then you might expect. We planned a long weekend and stayed for three nights. Our credit card was preauthorized for the entire stay before arriving which is not unusual; however, when we arrived, they ran it through again for the entire three day stay. I asked about it and was told one of the preauthorizations would drop off…it did not during our stay. Upon checkout a few days later, I mentioned it yet again…they responded, sorry, the extra preauthorization will not be removed until 2-3 days after checkout. We don’t carry balances on our credit cards so not a huge deal for us, but certainly something others may want to be aware of as our entire stay was charged twice.

BBrian AOur stay was OK until I reviewed my credit card statement. I asked my wife after she checked in how much they charged for the dog. She said ”nothing”. When she checked out, she did not receive a receipt, but we didn't think anything of it because we had gone through Hotwire to book the room. When I reviewed my credit card charges for our Trip I saw that for one night we were charged $75.00 for our 15 lb. dog! They never mentioned the outrageous pet charge, the most we've ever paid by $50.00. My advise is do not use Hotwire or any Hilton chain hotel if you own a pet. They advertise as 'Pet Friendly', but certainly are not 'Wallet Friendly' or 'Customer Friendly'. When I called the hotel they were unsympathetic and simply said that was the charge given them by Hilton for one to four nights, ”Sorry”. Simply Outrageous!!!!!

We would have given this hotel a higher rating if it had been cleaner. Parts of the hotel were fine and other areas needed much work, specifically our room. The first thing I noticed upon entry to our room was a very distinct musty and humid odor. The odor never improved. The windows do not open in these rooms. It is a well-used motel in need of some refurbishment. The corners in our rooms were in desperate need of being vacuumed. I dropped a pen off of my nightstand and realized the floor was covered with old nail clippings. All of the edges of the carpet were filthy. The bathroom had pink mold growing in the corners, and the wallpaper was stained and grubby. The mirror surround in the bathroom was dirty and etched. The above mirror light in the bathroom did not work part of the time. Laundry facilities are out of order and have been for quite some time. No repairs have been facilitated. On a positive note, the breakfast host, Theresa, and the front desk check-in staff, Miranda, were both absolutely wonderful. Thank you to them. Hilton, please do better and invest in your hotel to complement this wonderful area. Everything else seems to be well taken care of in the region except portions of this hotel.

Very Good
This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in for handicapped access. The front desk attendant even helped with our loading of the manual wheelchair in and out of the trunk, which was over and beyond expectations. We were so pleased with the cleanliness, wheelchair accessible bathrooms and room, breakfast. We didn’t get to use the indoor pool but it had a lift as well and was beautiful and the workout room, laundry room and conference room are very nice as well. Management has changed in the past year or so and we can really tell the difference. It is so convenient and whenever we are back up this way we will gladly book here again for several nights! It was very affordable and better than many 4 stars we have booked!

GGuest UserThe kitchen supplies for 2 people but only 1 chair and a tiny desk to eat at. Has a full-sized fridge, dishwasher, 2-burner non-intuitive glass-top range, MW oven and garbage disposal. Pots and pans are supplied, in new condition. Room lighting is barely adequate. The hot water failed, so cold showers. DirecTV has local channels only, no news, weather or movies, but plenty of shopping networks. The room is cleaned once a week, not resupplied and you have to take out your own trash to the dumpster. The air conditioning works as long as the room sensor sees you moving around enough. You can set the temperature but not whether it's in cooling or heating mode. There is free use of clothes washers, but they were all broken. Parking is adequate but if you have an EV, there are no Level 2 chargers. If you need a Level 3, the closest is 33 miles away on the tollway, 2 miles away if you have a Tesla. No one drives fast in Elkhart because every traffic light is red. Recommended if you plan to be here more than 2 days: We brought a dish rack for drying dishes, a sharp knife, laser pyrometer, salad scraper, paper towels, garbage bags, better facial tissues, a food cover for the MW oven, a Blu-ray player with HDMI cable and option to play movies from thumb drives. If you don't plan to cook in your room, there's no sense in staying in a place like this. As for being ”pet-friendly”, they charge $25/day/animal, but the rooms are way too small for any. We considered bringing our 2 guinea pigs but not at those rates and, other than the floor, there would have been nowhere to place their cage. We wished we had brought a folding chair. There is a recliner in the room but it was uncomfortable and difficult to eat in. It's like eating in your car. This is supposed to be a ”100% non-smoking facility.” Our room smelled strongly of tobacco. No amount of Fabreze could cover it up.

While the people were perfectly friendly, this hotel has seen much use and needs a lot of work. Mattresses are like shallow soup bowls, rusted drain covers, tissue box holder, door veneer falling off, wallpaper coming off, chipped paint on door frames. General sense of tiredness. Hot tub closed off with hazard tape, pool has dead bugs and gross things in it.

The housekeeping ladies were absolutely great too. Lovely people working at this nice hotel and made our stay just perfect! Go stay at the Comfort Inn in Goshen and meet these charming ladies!! GGuest UserWe chose this place because it was pet-friendly, drive-up, and convenient, although at first glance, we weren't sure because of all the trucks lined down the street. It turns out it's popular with transporters who are moving RVs from Elkhart to other destinations. The motel was one of the best of the 20 motels we stayed at during our cross-country trip. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe -- and had great grass for our dogs (a rarity). We'd definitely stay there again.
