"Wonderful experience and the best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Perfect price and value proposition with a staff who are really customers oriented and friendly. Smaller hotel what is never overcrowded. Nice charming design elements. Very good breakfast with selection of local cheeses and meat. Real juice would be the only needed improvement and some pastel de Nata for the breakfast would add to the mandatory Portuguese experience. Otherwise 100% perfect stay. Excellent swimming pool with sea water. Yes. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and comfortable. I didn't came here to see golden chandeliers so l was super satistied! Excellent location and direct sea access. What more could one look for??"

"Cleaned every day, good breakfast, great location (hotels part of Funchal, but also walkable to centre), lots of restaurants and shops around, bus stop right outside, pleasant and helpful staff, well maintained pool, pool towels provided. Only con - old hairdryer, so it gets very hot and smells burnt. Also no iron."

"The rooms were nice and spacious with nice balconies on a great location. The rooms could use a renovation and be better cleaned especially in more hidden places like under the bed. The hairdryer overheated easily. The breakfast is good and varied and the staff is the best part of the hotel, super friendly!"

"I enjoyed my time at the hotel. The service was excellent. The location was in an area with its own charm and close restaurants and bars. But also just a short 10 min. walk to the city centre. The room was quite spacious, clean, and quiet. The only complaint was some AC noise when the terrace door was opened. The bed was very comfortable. Seems like I will never like a hotel pillow, but it wasn't too bad. Breakfast was plentiful enough for me. I think everyone will find something to enjoy."
